Thanks to the many positive reviews here we chose this hotel and weren't dissapointed.
The privately owned hotel has 56 rooms. In all areas very very clean. The guests came from Italy, England, Germany and Austria as far as we from personal conversations could read. There were all age groups represented. Wi-fi and internet access for an extra charge, breakfast was inclusive. read more

Had we a hotel, what is rather cheap, good reviews get, a good breakfast offers and as centrally located. We had booked over olotel 3 nights on a October -weekend for 300 Euro. Furthermore, 4€ Florence-tax per night/ person. The way on foot to the center ( old town) was a bit longer than we thought, San Marco ( it is a delicious invite) can be reached in about 10 minutes. You could rent bicycles or the bus can take. A segway-station we had also somewhere nearby seen. Taxi from the airport to the hotel requires afternoon 15 minutes and ... costs 20€ + 1 euros the luggage. Breakfast was okay. I missed chocolate for the bread, muesli and croissants were not so good. Room and service were really good. Worth mentioning are the beautiful parquet, the old crt, the speakers in the bathroom and the very well insulated window to the side of the road. Evenings we have nearby in the 'edi house' delicious brick oven -pizza, gnocchi and pasta dinner. Altogether is Florence expensive ( Cappuccino 3.50 -4,00 Euro, cone 2,50 to 5 euros -> the ponte vecchico ). Many churches demand entry. read more

Centrally located, clean, very friendly, trained and helpful staff. Room zweckmäiß and clean. Within walking distance of the city centre (20 minutes) bus station however in the immediate area breakfast extensive, bread a bit could be improved for German conditions. Unfortunately no free wi-fi. One must buy a card, 5 Euro for 30 minutes, however very complicated and changeable. If these were to be amended, would be the hotel top! read more

The very good hotel designed the whole hotel complex is very clean.
The rooms are big enough and with a air conditioning and safety deposit box. The bathroom all amenities that you need. Shower/tub combination, bidet and hair dryer, and you can over a loudspeaker the tv sound in the bathroom very well understand
The hygiene is excellent. It were every day the beds changed and the towels were changed. The tv has several german channels. The air conditioning can be turned off.
The breakfast buffet is for italian standards very good.
The types of people are international. read more

The hotel is in a very good condition and has 56 rooms, so a straightforward size. The rooms-we had a double room superior- large enough and clean. Individually controlled air conditioning and safe are available. The furnishings are in a very good state, particularly the dark melanboden stömt a noble atmosphere from. The bathroom is big enough. I had only booked accommodation and breakfast. The types of people are international. read more

We were on our Tuscany trip in San Gallo Palace for 3 nights in Florence. The hotel we can definitely recommend. About 15 minutes on foot zum Dom. Very nice, modern high quality and generous equipped room. Tip: we have in the immediate area the sightseeing bus and a complete round travel made. In between you can again at any time off pictures make. Very good pleased the Piazzale michelangiolo to dreamlike view over the town. read more

the hotel is clean and typical of the country furnished. The staff are very friendly. 10 to 15 minutes you need on foot to the city center -there, you experienced the true magic of Florence. Only you should avoid the hotel's own bar-it tastes, is however very expensive and the food came from the microwave -in the extremely Emergency...( breakfast is however very recommendable, has nothing to do with this bar to do) read more

When we arrived no cheaper underground parking was free. One strove and the next day we were able to get a parking for ten Euros which is favorable for Florence. The people at the front desk gave us friendly advice, mostly in English, good German Mr 1. The decor of the rooms is friendly and very clean (there was even a trouser press available). The breakfast was a bit lean, but the coffee was very good. We had 25-minute hotel in the town. The tourist bus 48 hours we could use, has stopped near the hotel. The hotel would recommend ... to everyone you enjoy walking and like the hustle and bustle of sleep. read more

Hotel very recommendable, very nice staff, absolutely clean! Is located about 30 minutes walk from the cathedral.
Still some tips for Florence in general:
Florence is expensive! Especially in the evening at the food.
At the hotel is the Trattoria Alberto and da Tito highly recommended, and not as expensive.
As already often described here, for the Uffizen reservations. We have made the reservation on the day of arrival at the museum, the waiting time was five minutes! You pay therefor four euro but definitely worth it.
Spring is a very good travel time, not too warm and everything was ... in bloom!

The hotel stops on the inside, which promises it from the outside.
The rooms are large, stylish but not stuffy. The air conditioning is manually adjustable.
The safe is big enough to store a laptop and other things.
The bathroom is large and bright. Everything is decorated in warm colours. Room access and Elektroversorgung is up-to-date via electronic card.
The size of the breakfast is for Italian standards very good (especially the level of cleanliness in the restaurant is highly recommended.
The location of the hotel to the city centre and the train station is good. The hotel is located ... on a main street, is however no noise inside.
I will definitely go back for a couple of days or pleasure. read more

A nice hotel in the centre. The cathedral is within walking distance in about 15 minutes. The parking in Florence are not the best. There are, however, about 300m away from the hotel there is a parking garage for 18, -€ per two hours
The rooms are large, clean and tastefully installed. The breakfast and the service was okay. The staff speak English, among others. The only drawback at the breakfast: some things were not replenished.
But otherwise highly recommended Hotel read more

One is to foot in 15 minutes at the Piazza San Marco, 25 minutes in the Piazza del Duomo and after a further ten minutes to the Piazza della signoria and the Uffizi gallery.
For Italian standards The breakfast is wide.
The staff is professional and friendly, the hotel overall highly recommendable. At the next check in Florence-would I stay there again. read more
