the rooms were clean, furnished in a very Spartan manner (a file or a chair for clothes/bags would be useful). At all bed there is also a light switch, however it is in the living room no hangers for hanging coats or jackets, so everything had on the floor placed to be. the bathroom was freshly renovated and very clean, only Downside, there was only one feast mounted hair dryer and no outlet in the bathroom. The designed a little difficult with 5 people in the room in a short time to blow-dry or hair to straighten out because the living room no mirror the outlets were.

Unfortunately we did not tested since the sausage (to mountains on the breakfast buffet bouffant) very unappetizing appeared. It was a simple breakfast: toast, marmelade, sausage, cheese, eggs, milk, coffee and juice. the breakfast room itself seemed somewhat small, if you consider as many rooms this hotel is (you had to waiting times accept, in case all seats were occupied).

in the check in the front desk clerk seemed to have just shifts, therefore impact of about 10 people hardly observed and prefer in peace the register counted and chat. it was for 7 people reserved, since two people at short notice we have been told it immediately check in with (the fees were we prepared to pay). The receptionist offered us a quad room extra bed what we thankfully assumptions. After a visit in the city center of Amsterdam in the evening still no extra bed in the roomwhen leaving the hotel. For dinner we made the (now night service staff) on the abuse to the attention. He could do nothing more, all his colleagues in the party and he would alone. The only thing what he could offer a mattress in the room it would be, there would be someone from the party and with the extra bed help. When we booked the hotel for 4 hours evenings again was still not reached extra bed in the room and we had to the beach (by the way more than shabby, stained and run down mattress inclusive bedding) even to the room. it was in this night in this Dink for a person not to think and the Amsterdam short trip was good and proper ruined. at check-out was the service night said. the front desk was very nice, he offered immediately a discount and assured us, that we have an e-mail from hotel with an opinion and that this was a very unacceptable behavior the night service was pretty good. however we were given( the vacation almost 4 weeks ago is now, no e-mail was an amount to our credit well written!

For the undemanding travellers is the hotel Amsterdam reasonable. If you are a Spartan room decor, very unzuvorkommendes staff and not a pleasant area control ☺

It is about about 15 to 20 minutes away from center... Whom the somewhat unusual area (no ghetto but also no chic area, Crime directly in front of the entry door) don't mind will feel at home. there are only a few parking spaces the free. The hotel itself no possibilities, you have to be somewhere at the surrounding streets parking in parking spaces (about 15 euros on the day). right next to the hotel is a stop the tram from the one in the place indoors arrives.

In short, not to be recommended! The room/Hotel had its best times in the 80' years, a cover for two people-took some getting used to.! Bathroom dirty. Broken window. In the closet Bin No floor. Fire extinguishers in the hallway probably never dusted. In front of the door of the house, the vibrant 'multi-multicultural-life' far into the night, and trams that ratternde. The breakfast rather than describe enough. As a hotel to describe what I consider to be a brave. Parking on the meter, 2.40 Euro/hour :! read more

This hotel is really a hostel. For the price we paid, it was ok. Breakfast was ok, there were different meats and cheeses, eggs, yogurt, jam, honey, Nutella, drinks. Only the breakfast room was most of the time overcrowded and sometimes, we had to wait for a free table. in front of the hotel there was a tram and bus stop, with which you about 20 minutes to the city center of Amsterdam. nearby supermarkets. the rooms are quite small. We had a 3 bed room (double bed and single bed). The beds were cleaned every day and it was ... easy to sleep. Bathroom was large enough, including hair dryer. However the light was a bit dark, but it was not that bad. it was not loud noise (other guests, passing cars, etc. ) woke us up. there is a TV in the room, a large table and a very small closet, in which you didn't really what appeared. whoever had no high demands, very night! read more

The hotel is located about 20 minutes with the tram from the city center. The location/setting of the hotel is not really as good. It seems like it is a an foreigners district to act. Since we were only there for one night, it was ok, but again I would definitely not the case. Breakfast was very basic and reminded me of a hostel ( were also a lot of young people there). Our room was very small and in need of renovation (except for the flat screen tv). The bathroom is in need of a complete and just re-done. ... So - next time pay a bit more and closer to town. read more

The hotel is absolutely not to be recommended. Have never seen anything like it. A hostel is a blessing not to do it. Everything dated, dirty, the front desk staff is a pit. Absolutely unfriendly. Absolutely disorganized everything at the beginning not even found our booking. The breakfast was a catastrophe ... INEDIBLE. Parking is far and wide anywhere. Also you felt like in Turkey (not racist meant). The next time I will sleep at the car before I in such a "hotel" go to. read more

With the rooms we were more than happy. Clean and bright. A renovation again not bad, but ok! Unfortunately the coordinating with 2 double beds, which were unfortunately very very soft. Room was absolutely big enough and cleaned daily. Bathroom needs a renovation, but it was not dirty or dirty. Small bathtub. But no shower curtain, so the bathroom after every shower easily flooded. But there were enough towels available, easy up. Every day there anyway new! Relatively quiet, relatively well insulated walls and windows. Poor insulated doors, so you can hear if someone stop right in the hallway. Large flat screen tv in the room (German Program: ARD +ZDF), and the small mirrored wardrobe, table, 2 chairs and 1 nightstand. Old curtains and already a bit worn out carpet. Clean and functional!

The hotel is only a breakfast buffet to offer, which is adequate for a city break! Rich good complimentary breakfast and coffee, cappuccino, lattes, Kaba, tea, cut cucumber and Tomatenstücken, cheese (only one sort of -> for a Käseland such as Holland weak), four different types of sausage, honey, two types of jam, Nutella, butter, Becel, rolls, toast (incl. Toaster) three different sorts of muesli, fruit yoghurt breakfast from 7:00 until 10:00. constantly filled! Fresh coffee machine! Really nice and rich!
