The hotel only had 5 rooms the one used can.
There is no hair dryer, no warm water, no Fernesehen, no safe. One of the smaller rooms has air conditioning. Have otherwise the rooms a ceiling fan and are equipped with a bed, Nachttischen, mirror with file and a closet furnished. In the other room there is also a bedside lamp or dresser. The ebenerdige shower, washbasin with mirror and small storage space and toilet are in the adjoining area. After showering everything stands underwater.
There are 6 hotel's own beach chairs. Before the rooms there is a table with ... 2 chairs.
Wireless internet does not exist, the manager leaves his computer of the kids front desk. Everything about the very diligent manager: meal preferences, alcohol, cold drinks. Tourenwünsche and so on everything on time order. The very simple food was (mostly) good, other not.
Cleaning of the rooms and towel Exchange on demand.
The hotel lies by a wall separated between small fishermen houses and you get, whether you want to or not their life up close with, from the morning wash/ Teeth to the nagging the wife and the waterslide the children.
In front of the hotel is a small, narrow, hardly traveled side street, then begins the public beach on goats romp around, and also Watch a few Dogs and cows past.
Constantly trash in the beach washed. Approximately 5 minutes on foot in the major hotels it is clean, the beach flatter and you can find the restaurants rent. In the hotels you can evenings at the bar, the guests are too many Russians.
Supermarket, train station, Souvenir shops, pub are in 10 minutes on foot reachable.
The Ayur Lanka is for certain no luxury hotel and in the first moment you want to go away, but you will learn something about the country and people and after a short time it somehow.
For about 20 euros per day/ person/full-board the hotel is acceptable. The large hotels next door are significantly more expensive.
The hotel in May 2012 under construction/updating. read more

A simple, family-run hotel. Excursions on site everywhere book to the sea it is only a few meters and you can the beach the large hotels share. There is a small garden with 4 loungers, however no pool. In the garden you will find from time to time the goats of the neighbors or luguane. Eat on the roof terrace with great view of the sea, simply magnificent. The food is typical of the country and very tasty. At the meal times completely individually on the guest received. The rooms in the main building I cannot judge, we were in ... the room in the small garden house. Simply, but sufficient with a small veranda on the doorstep. Air conditioning isn't available, but you can the window at night open, perfectly adequate. Those who wanted animation or other leisure offers need, is in the wrong place. I have here vacation with my daughter (19 years) made, around the country to explore and my son to visit, the in Colombo lives, and it was the 100 ig right decision. Close to the locals live. We would definitely go again. read more
