The hotel location at the beach is optimal. We had a superior room in the 5th floor with beautiful view of the sea. The room was very small, the balcony was tiny. On the balcony there were no possibility to hang the wet swimsuits, respectively the towels. The bathroom was also very small. In the room there was hardly any possibilities or hang drop off. The carpet in front of the bed was totally stained. The tv was tiny and had bad picture. ( 2 German program with disrupted picture) the lifts ( doors from the inside) were the whole ... week not cleaned. The breakfast was every day right, the bread rolls were never fresh. The dinner repetitive sometimes. Nothing was freshly prepared. The dishes were quite simply. The waiters were partly unmotivated. We once half an hour waited, only the beverages to order. The plates were partly not cleared. The pool was totally out of date, partly the color leafed now. The water smelled strongly after chlorine and was also because of the sand dirty. The loungers were sufficiently available. read more

    Clean, nicely furnished, but very small. It was enough for us. The bathroom is relatively generous. We had a room with a view of the sea at the end a floor. Thus we only had one neighbor and in 2 directions from the balcony a magnificent view. The small refrigerator that mini bar is empty, but can without any problems with own things filled up are. Air conditioning worked well, the safe costs extra. In the television we could two german programs welcomed.

    For breakfast a wide selection of rolls and bread, also the possibility 'richtige' grain rolls to get. Next to a diet corner gives it in the morning a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Not the typical over-cooked food, very good quality, daily changing. We had in 9 days no repetition of the food. Absolutely satisfied!

    Every day through a screen with the elevators on the programme for the next days informed. We have the Volleyball try it. The sand lies directly beside the pool, us was by the entertainer the ball presented, then we could even employ. The pool is for swimming suitable, the lawn generously put on and enough chairs available. Directly after the lawn starts the fine sandy beach on, some beach chairs are available.

    A little bit out of town of alvor, about 15 minutes walk from into town. Direct location on the long sandy beach, small supermarkets in the more immediate vicinity. By car one is fast on the road to Lagos or postage mao and one can problem-free the significantly cheaper supermarket 'pingo doce' reach. Since we in the evening not interested in long had entertainment, we have the area not to clubs/bars searched. For excursions very nice located!

    Size for 2 persons ok. The balcony is very small. A table, 2 chairs. Beds feathers strong. Window from the room bathroom with blinds. Many massive mirror. Small flat screen tv with RTL and ARD than German channels. Air conditioning very silent and well adjustable. Safe costs 2 Euro per day. Is however a modern with encoding. Room access with key card. Small fridge available, the also worked well. Clairaudience normal. The thick carpet the long hallway mutes but really good.

    Almost no animation. Mini golf course in the garden. Diving school. By the pool we were not. The beach is great. Very wide. No rock, no seaweeds, no trash. Was cleaned every morning. Very clean. Many waves with little wind. Water cold. Was in September 20 degrees. All 100 meters a beach supervision and equipment. Good attention, as the waves once were very high. A umbrella and 2 loungers cost 10 Euro per day. One rents for 7 days, needs only for 6 be paid and the favorite place was reserved. strandaschenbecher, there is landlord. To the right direction Lagos you can about minutes walk the mole to the port entrance of alvor reach. On the left-hand side after about 20 minutes the famous rock of alvor. Beach bar with toilets. Unfortunately no shower. You have a couple meters away to the pool go. Snacks and drinks there and to the room be booked. In 100 meters away a kiosk with newspapers from the same day from 10:30 A. M.. In another 100 meters a small supermarket ( orange ) for beverages etc. Very nice walks at the beach possible. On the water it can be very nice walk, because the sand was not so soft is. Distance to alvor -center 15 minutes on foot.

    The rooms are good, however quite badly soundproofed. In the neighboring room it was sometimes quite loud. In the morning 6:00 A. M. was often a radio or tv for about 1 hour at. Apart from that the volume for a hotel with so lots of tourists within limits. Once one has at night in the hallway yelled, probably under the influence. In our room there was a 20-inch -flatscreen tv amongst others with the 4 German programs: ARD, RTL, satellite. 1 and sport 1 in relatively poor quality.

    The hotel in a beautiful park-like garden with saltwater pool is very recommendable. You can also in bathing suits of the pool by a during the day open door to the garden to the beach go, in the atlantic about 21 degrees C swimming and back in the hotel garden go. It was a very nice hotel, which we definitely recommend, especially is the quiet location unbeatable. ( we had amongst others times Praia del Rocha looked at). Only drawback was the very small room for 2 adults and one child and ultrakleine balcony on the first floor, where we stayed. So definitely to eighth and also view of the sea book. Apart from that makes you with this hotel everything really. Also the beach is great. To the east the typical rocks, West eternal wide and almost deserted. read more

We wanted a relaxing holiday and spend the hotel was perfect for this very suitable. We had a villa with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living/dining room. Everything was in a very good condition. To the beach it was from our villa a short walk on foot, so that you occasionally also times in the house could. The beach is very spacious, extensive walks are possible, where one, to the delight of the children collecting shells and crab could. The staff were friendly. The food was but very on the english audience, but also good for german conditions. Large ... point of criticism is the lunch, the at best fast food can go too completely too expensive prices. Here you should lunch rather somewhat from the small supermarket nearby get, you have more of it. read more

Unfortunately the hotel has very few rooms, a genuinely good location have, and naturally want all. We were given the booked sea view not, but a room with a view of the car park, as its land is sold. On complaint then a suite on the 1st floor with a little view of the sea and nightly Totalbeschallung by the live bands, every evening play. The food is fully unimaginative, the same every morning. The dinner is boring and tasteless. You should go to the nearby Alvor hiking and in one of the great restaurants eat. This hotel scored by ... the fantastic location directly on a dream beach, apart from that it is something for lump-sum holidayers the TUI, because then one gets a beautiful room in the 4. or 5th floor with full view of the sea and some Extraservices. One should consider, if one view on the parking spaces furthermore as its land sale should. Only because of the not too toppenden location we recommend the hotel further. read more

    We were just at the beach and the was perfect for umbrella and beach chair you had to pay! Who early in the morning to the beach the had around before 8 o'clock in the morning you got only through detours back.

The villas and spaces paths are partially. Renovated. We were in the midst of this construction zone accommodated - construction noises of 6 until 18 o'clock. We were altogether very satisfied! Very varied breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, much selection of bread and peaceful atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff in the restaurant, at the front desk and in the room service! Everywhere Stairlifts for scooter drivers. Rooms are fine and quite modernly furnished, bathroom a bit small. Supermarket hundred meters, center with restaurants about 1 kilometer (we had a car, so anyway no topic ). Restaurant-tip: Vagabondo, definitely for dessert the Apple-rhubarb crumble and the small pizzeria with the Holzhockern above at the start the pedestrian precinct! During our travels many golfers and about 70% ... English, but rather the quiet group or very funny old -men-groups. We would go there again and the hotel fully recommend. read more

The hotel description on the internet under world wide web. Pestana. Com is completely - 247 room, 5 floors, modern room. The lobby, bar and dining room are a little on the 'plush' chairs with red velvet-or leather chairs, but always everything clean and tidy. The whole complex is always clean and made a very well-kept impression! On the hallways you could tell, as the hotel probably before the renovation 2008 and looked it works through the thick carpets and a little 'clunky'. Also evenings at the bar there is a dance floor, which is really a dance floor and ... more for ' dance café ' invites with 'musica ao vivo' man at the organ, which then also again the majority of the guests raised 50 years. It were many british people in the house and above all older guests & golfers! For breakfast it was always very fully and evenings sat then only a third of the guests to eat there. The golfers were the whole day on the way, were picked up in the morning, so it was by the pool always very quiet and many loungers free. read more

    We have a day before at LTUR and then a room to the land allocated. After certain requests-one day before were also room on the seaside according to the information on the internet free-we had for a surcharge from 17.50/day a room to the sea get. Luckily! In any case recommendable! Wifi is in the room not at all available! The us already somewhat gewurmt. You could wi-fi to book, 1 hour 3 Euro, 1 day 5 Euro, 5 days for 28 Euro, the reception but would be so bad, that we on the 2. floor none of this would have had. You must into the lobby and we also had no desire. The rooms are modern and furnished to a high standard, the bed is large and comfortable, there was a small tv ready (front desk of german channels: the first, RTL, satellite. 1, sport 1, nickelodeon), a couch and the bathroom has a bath /shower in a, separated by a large window from the bedroom, but what you through a blind can impose, many mirror. You feel good, the clairaudience we would than average estimate, doors do not close quietly! From the neighbouring room we rather bit, but from the hallway. Heating- or airco in the room are individually adjustable-worked perfectly. The small fridge is empty upon arrival-you can at the hotel but somewhat order-we didn even filled and the day with a sagers on the balcony drink. The balcony is small-it fit two chairs and a table. For the a week it was enough, and we were glad, evenings the sun still to be able to enjoy to the sunset.

    For breakfast there were different types of bread & rolls, with the possibility to toast. Eggs in every conceivable the form, the typical english side dishes bacon, beans and sausages. Jams there was only packaged, exactly like the butter. Two types of cheese, once cream cheese and two to three types of sausage. Then there were still different variants of pops and so many fruit, yoghurt and juice. The coffee from the automat was delicious! choco, Cappuccino and tea was also to choose from. For dinner there were a small selection of bread and always a daily soup. You had the choice, a salad itself together with various dressings or from the final choice to try, every evening varied, there was generally always so five finished salads and finger food. The warm dishes there was always a meat dish, a fish dish and a additional fish- or meat dish in the change. Potatoes often prepared differently, rice and noodles. We never went hungry to bed gone, there was always something, which we liked, but the selection was very small. There was also no topic evenings or show cooking or similar. The dinner buffet was ok, the dishes high quality (for example chicken in an orange sauce, salmon in fischsauce with crabs and mussels, katzenfisch in lemon sauce with banana, chicken fricassee with figs, etc. - but also lasagna and spaghetti bolognese) and always delicious, but the selection was very small. We have some guests observed, the only booked breakfast and then in the restaurant à la carte meals. Therefore probably those rather ausgefalleneren buffet-dishes. The waiters inside in the dining room were very nice. Tip was never 'requires', as we have time in a hotel in Tunisia experienced.

    There were always all very friendly, hard, felt in the book of the cars helped, towels for the pool- or beach area there was always fresh, if you wanted.     The beach is in a few steps and you are miles of endless beach go for a stroll-lovely! The garden is nicely arranged, well-kept and now in the low season you always had a place for sunbathing found. There is a sea water pool, the but in early march was too cold. There is a shallow pool and in the house a pool, where you swim laps could. In addition a sauna, turkish steam bath and a spa area – not used (full body massage 50 minutes, 55 Euro; golfers -massage 40 minutes, 45 Euro; indian head massage, 20 minutes, 30 Euro; massage 20 minutes, 30 Euro; foot reflexology 40 minutes, 40 Euro). Entertainment program – not used (portuguese lessons, bingo, shooting, water aerobics, Boccia, stained glass, gymnastics, onomatopoeia). The fitness room was always all day usable with two treadmills, stationary bike, rowing machine, weights of 2 kilogram to 10 kilogram two weights, barbell and a z-bar-everything there, robust & functional! A Midget Golf-place belongs with to the hotel, for €2.00 to could play. Because of the for us' bad ' entertainment, which we did not address felt, we evenings in the room let go.

    Around the Algarve to explore the hotel lies perfect-between Albufeira and Lagos, a bit out of alvor -74 kilometer away from Faro/airport (2 -hour drive). To rent a car is an absolute must, to the area to look at. You can get very good car drive, the streets are well developed. We have our car in the hotel near car jardim rent a car rented and to have for four days €69,50 paid, mitsubishi colt, 4-door with climate-super good! We have even a instruction, which we so from other countries not at all knew. The car was to the hotel and pick you up again. Parking spaces are also not enough in front of the hotel available, free of charge. We are along the coast to sagers or sao vicente the south-west point europe's and the steep coasts and the endless expanses of the atlantic admired. To Faro it was in our opinion not worth it. A trip to Albufeira we did not and were a bit shocked, this large touristic 'ort' with tacky souvenir shops, bars and restaurants together-and übereinandergereiht – not comparable with the quaint alvor. Note: the highway a22 costs toll, after two days in a payoffice pay must-in parallel runs through the individual towns/cities without any problems on the n125 and can the surroundings. It is worthwhile also often again a trip to a praia to make. So you get a good look, how different it along the Algarve looks can. Also direction Lissabon is the a 2 subject to a charge. The hotel itself lies in the middle in the nothing or between really ugly high rise buildings, the probably only rarely inhabited. In any case book a room with a sea view – then you can see the houses hardly and unobstructed view of the atlantic ocean. Wonderful! On the balconies one has to sunset the full sun and the sound of the atlantic is always there! Only over a small footbridge and you are right on the endless beach! You can walk for hours and in the summer certainly lovely swimming. If you by the pool is you can hear the ocean waves-what we are now beginning march always in the afternoon did. The garden of the hotel is very well maintained, beautifully landscaped and spacious!

Come already for years to different times to this hotel and find there always nice. In February we were there and unfortunately were a few tourist since, mostly golf clubs, who were very loud and the bar emptied... The entertainment was economized, it was the food well and the staff friendly. The superior rooms are with unlimited view of the sea and nicely furnished. read more
