Carlton Square is a large, somewhat old-stylish hotel. Both, the general parts of the hotel and the rooms are equipped with a fabric covering. You enter the hotel either from the directly underlying parking (24, 50 euro per 24 hrs.) or through the main entrance. The large entrance hall is connected with the restaurant where in the morning the breakfast is served. You also will find a business room with 4 computers which can be used for free. There are two elevators which connect you with one of the 122 rooms read more

Upon arrival, I was informed the my booking unfortunately had been canceled. For some obvious reasons. opps?! But as I already paid for and booked through TUI and then was I got a room (nice, or!). In my room was a bit broken which they fixed first after complaing twice demand. At the check out the staff again Kanta. It has never been the checkin people smiled or greeted. All were very busy. No departure phrase used!
Rooms were for my taste much too old-fashioned. Young people have every evening before the house under a tree and were very noisy-motorcycle ... in, back and forth.
The breakfast and dinner were great, really good, wide and great coffee!
The cleanliness and the bathroom were great!
I would however for your next visit in Haarlem select another hotel.

The hotel is popular with a mix of companies for conventions and tourists had booked. It also has a whisky bar in the evening, but we didn't use it, as well as a café, where breakfast was served. The nationalities of the guests was mostly Dutch, but also German and English and consisted of families and couples from the ages between 15 and 70 about. The only complaint I have is the carpet in the breakfast area, the really needed to be cleaned. read more

The hotel is large, easy to find and the outside very appealing. There were lots of rooms of which one of the superior we have stayed in. Free parking if you in Harlem in vain. The very best is to order if you are in the right under the hotel British owned parking garage for 35€ buy a weekly pass, which also for four other parking garages in Harlem Valid. Just ask in the small office at the entrance. Otherwise you pay a lot of money for "bellhops quickly". Price the hotel is adequate. We booked at the last minute ... and get what a bargain for 352€ 4 nights with breakfast. The average age of the guests is probably the 45. Children there was almost no so it was in the hotel at all times pleasantly quiet. read more

For a short get away or a city break the hotel meets its goal. We booked two nights without catering to EUR 59.00 euro/per night. Quite clear: it is a at the check-in, the two classes-company. If you are not right in the hotel booked, you will first 'processed'. We are convinced former, that it in this hotel is nice, clean, spacious rooms, but unfortunately we didn't get any, as well as the other guests with whom we have to talk to us, via the Internet. The hallway to the room was dirty and stinky. The room itself met ... the arrange transportation to the four stars standard, but not more than that. The bathroom was very small and old fashioned. On the second night we something to eat from the hotel to the room. Salad and club sandwich 49.00 euro! The price would be okay former, if we do not get a indedible salad, chicory leaves from octopus existed. (Loud map Ceasar salad with chicken.)
So for a short get away without catering suitable. read more

It is a 4 -star hotel with 124 rooms. We found the hotel to be from the outside, but fairly innocuous on entering the lobby just changed. Warm colors and a cozy atmosphere with lots of wood and fireplace certain here the picture. The hotel features a large restaurant, and a sophisticated whisky bar. read more

It is a great hotel is located! The breakfast was great, fresh juices, salmon, etc..
The rooms were immaculate, very large, very clean, a really great! Very comfortable beds.
very friendly staff!
The only downside is, it does not have its own parking, there is a parking garage with private access to the hotel this is unfortunately pretty expensive, 1 €per half hour from 18,00 o'clock to 8:00 costs 2.50 euros for it the whole night! read more

We were satisfied with the hotel. Decor and correspond to the four stars standard. The rooms were (as usual in the Netherlands) a little small, but well appointed therefor. If you would like to have breakfast in the hotel, should be done in a package book in advance, otherwise it cost 19.50 euro per person. Attached to the hotel features a restaurant, Café de la Paix, and a bar, whisky bar. Everything made a very neat impression, but we didn't used. Unfortunately, our room was not with balcony-for smokers due to the Dutch legislation a little tiring, because you ... have to leave the hotel. Due to its central location you can reach the haarlemer city center with numerous shopping possibilities in a few minutes on foot, and the town of Charme.
Amsterdam is just a stone's throw away. By car you can use park and Ride and parking for 24 hours cost €per six. In addition there are still tickets for the free urban public transportation.
Another piece of advice: parking is available in the entire area of the hotel due to the intensive management of parkraumes very expensive. Only on Sundays is free parking on the street, otherwise it costs of 9:00 o 'clock to 23:00 o' clock 2.50 euro per hour, in the multi-storey car park with direct access to the hotel from 8:00 until 19:00 o'clock 2.00 euro per hour, from 19:00 until 8:00 2.50 euros for the whole period. Even if you get to the seafront runs, it will usually expensive. read more

the hotel is located in the immediate sights are within walking distance. all reachable. as well as shopping and restaurants, (public) a parking garage is located under the immediate Hotel.
the rooms are large enough for a city break and comfortable the breakfast buffet is decent, however if the breakfast was not included.
the staff is friendly and helpful.
the only (small) complaint: the hotel has no special atmosphere, it is a very normal medium-sized city hotel read more
