The hotel lies near the train station and centrally located in town. Walks ( Ortsrundgänge ) to the Elbhafen, as well as in the historic center are recommendable. The hotel is not luxurious, the furnishings the room is however good and was, to my mind, completely sufficiently. Especially everything was impeccably clean. When we arrived we discovered, that we stayed in a small room on the top floor with a view of the backyard and the roofs were excellent. We asked for, in one of the bright and larger rooms facing the street with Windows to the floor to move. They told us, that these rooms are all fully booked. Unfortunately, we see, that these rooms all empty. The excuse was pure comfort. It annoys, of course. The next time we will do all but a Coventry a wide berth. Who wants to spend their time in a city holiday, in the ... whole requisitioning empty and broken it houses. read more
