We really liked the hotel very much, has gotten a bit old but they are well maintained. The beach is exceptionally beautiful and fast from the hotel to reach. The staff were nice, but could not so good German, but what not a problem for us was. We were end of September beginning October 2012 in the Isla Canela park and unfortunately were there already the chairs and screens at the beach disappeared, although the weather still was very nice, but that was not at the hotel. The municipality Ayamonte has already everything preparations, but in this weather not understand ... can. Nevertheless everything was on the whole to us pure relaxation. The food ( breakfast, lunch, dinner ) was delicious and diverse, more you can not at all offer. I will definitely were still have a vacation. read more

Child care/ mini club is very Spanish children. We were 2 families, despite a majority of Spanish families found the children Port and had their fun. Facilitities are clean, but somewhat outdated now. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Selection of food and drink selection was varied and good. To the beach one runs from the room approximately 5 to 7 minutes. At low Tide is the beach/ the sea very nice-with a lying off Sandbank, at high tide it had many seaweeds. the Iberostar is a large hotel (5 floors, two building 4 star double room and 1 building 3 keyapartments ), 2 pools, 1 indoor swimming pool, 1 buffet restaurant, the à-la-carterestaurant straightened renovated (no noise to be heard ). Better looked after condition with small flaws, cleanliness see service. we had the half board (by the apartments also a lot of food and drinks from the outside to the hotel brought, since nobody says anything against ), for all- inclusiveler is Bändchenpflicht. Mixed clientele (D, E, gigabyte, NL, I, F, B ): seniors, families with children, young couples. From middle ... September is in Isla Canela low season, so it was with us rather quiet in the hotel, except for the last 3 days, as were suddenly 7 spanish 'coffee trips' -buses with seniors (from there was the peace past, at least for breakfast and dinner ), they were louder than a entire hotel full English.     the hotel lies at the Playa del Moral on of the peninsula Isla Canela about 5 kilometers away of Ayamonte. I stayed in a hotel not feel comfortable and I know many Iberostar hotels, since I am a travel agent. Loved it was the food. Always top! Fresh fish, fresh prepared meat and tropical fruits were always available. The friendliness of the staff was always very good. This hotel is visited by a lot of Spanish, which is not disturbing. I have tried to prolong, unfortunately, that was not possible. I will spend my holiday there again read more

Positive: very beautiful beach Promenade with a beautiful subsequent beach. The beach is within five minutes walking distance. Nice entertainers and nice staff at the front desk. Also nice staff in the dining room. All around nice view (on one side of the beach and the sea, on the other, the wetlands). Negative: Food. cold or freezing and not deep. Also the fruit was partly from the box. In the corners of the room was not cleaned properly. The beds are rather hard and uncomfortable. The beach chairs at the pool were often full of bird droppings. read more

Nice Hotel, on the beach in the immediate vicinity only by the waterfront separated (about 250m) Enda umbrellas and beach chairs for a fee, small beach bar on the sea but not part of the all inclusive. Clean sea make beautiful walks you can we had no all inclusive, we paid per person for dinner four euro and still could use the vending machines. food was good and you always found something, a lot of fish and fruit. Room in a clean condition, friendly staff. Hotel is a bit old but well worth a visit read more

Tip from the staff: with mobile phone or laptop nearest bar;) Pool and indoor swimming pool too cold. Indoor swimming pool was in the course of the week, however, heated! Hotel, beach holiday highly recommended. A bit out of the way and the quality and taste of the food are rather bad; there is only one bus (every hour) to Ayamonte and a small ferry to Isla Canela. It is a rental car offer from home (possibly from Portugal) to obtain. On site, we had an Opel Corsa for three days. 157 (expensive)-euro paid. For trips to the surrounding area anti-mosquito spray do not forget!!! read more

This hotel was worth only good to very good marks. Food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly and never annoyed, despite the many guests. Especially the front desk I want to give it a very good touch with star. There were immediately repaired or clarified all complaints. A guest has messed up my pants and shirt with red wine, it was for free. The cleanliness of hotel Iberostar Isla Canela a correct, clean hotel with good, although repetitive food. We know Banyahibe (Dominican Republic) but Iberostar Praia do Forte and in Brazil, they are just two classes better and really something special, so we were disappointed from the Isla Canela. In the catalog was everything in it, we had in our blind Iberostar confidence not notice: No all inclusive at the beach, and even the beach beds would have had to pay extra No mini bar included in the all inclusive. The bathroom was a funky smell, despite complaint no improvement. Peeling paint in the pool. No lift elevator for handicapped people at the pool. Behindertentoelette cluttered with sun loungers, restaurant partly very hard on. Disabled-healthy that was definitely not. Excursions you should go there on your own, rental cars are at this time cheap-The Algarve is probably our next destination.. read more

Area rather narrow and therefore very loud. Quality (cleanliness etc.) the area well, but can never deny, a pure mass processing without charm and inidividuelle to be. All-inclusive buffet quality OK, but after a few days constant repetitions. Restaurant has the charm of a Spiesehalle. Beach chairs at the pool too small. The level of cleanliness of the restaurant is worn (furniture) was not clean (dust on the Zwischenwänden), also in the external area could improve the matter. The food was plentiful but boring-the fish was every day the same on the Viola, the bread rolls boring and other than toast no variation, so here is a need! The beach chairs were partly broken to! The room size was in order. However, the furniture was not wholly obtained in a condition, the hotel was handled well. The sofa in the room was so dirty, that we didn't use it. It start from dirt and could have used replacing. Even worse was the condition of the balcony border. This had a stake of more than five centimeter, so that our child not on the balcony to have left. Complaints were answered at the front desk not because of the lack of language skills. We stayed in the whole of the Playa de Muro was disappointed. So ... far we have made better experiences with the Iberostar Hotel. The service sometimes left something to be desired, because everything was roasted and partly cold, until you arrived at his dining. The highlight was a staff strike in Spain. On this day we got only plastic plates and a very limited food. The only saving grace was the facility and the animation team. They gave a lot of effort and their job very well done. read more

Great holiday for people looking for peace and relaxation. You should consider your holiday what you want, the party goers are here in the wrong place. Long, wide, very clean nearly deserted beaches (end May, beginning June). Hotel has large pool area. During the weekends many Spanish families in the hotel. The most necessary things you at a nearby supermarket, shopping non-existent. Many comments I can't understand, the price/performance ratio is great. read more
