Hotel Mountainview^{(3 stars)}

This new in Lalibela hotel (opened in late 2008) is definitely a stay worth it! It is a wonderful building with an indescribable; view from the restaurant, from the rooms and from various terraces. the hotel is (still) in good condition, there are some water entrances, but could be better staff quickly removed. at the time, it is also at least every second day no electricity, but the acquisition of a generator in prospect. the rooms are spacious and clean. the staff is very friendly and helpful. next to the view is the (international and Ethiopian) kitchen the highlight. The ... Jamaican Head chef and his staff conjure up under the most difficult conditions (usually no power) to Europeans bearable and varied food. In the restaurant one sits on candlelight- romantic you may not have the 900-year-old churches over rocks! read more
