Aquis Sandy Beach Resort^{(4 stars)}

We had two rooms, balcony and bathroom, both modern and well decorated.

Throughout the resort there are 2 bars, one the pool bar and the beach bar, both with beautiful seat possibilities (among other things. Sofa). The dining room (outdoor terrace) is very nice and modern decor. From other comments i have seen, that some of the 'station atmosphere' weighted, but i would recommend this not understand if you have the possibility on a huge outdoor terrace, because then i am only not at all purely. The food itself was also very tasty and diverse. Things like fries and noodles however also always.

The service in the Sandy Beach is in my opinion very good. The employees are always make an effort. Since we were lucky the last day before the closure (may-october) with experience, us even the employees he waved, when we by bus were picked up. We were even offered free of charge to 20:00 the room keep, although one otherwise already at 12 o'clock the room leave. The room was also cleaned daily and you got fresh towels. (also for the beach) a doctor is also the resort also available.

The resort features a gym, the devices are not the newest but definitely alright. You can also directly always water, after you work out if any. The entertainers were very friendly and there was for the whole day for small to large activities you could join in ( Volleyball, rückenfitt, kids club, kids disco). In the whole hotel there are two large pool, the a with four slides up to last day at, of goods. Every evening there was also a show for free to watch ☺

The resort is has great potential spend your free time,it is modern, neat and you can always bearable. A shame that the time so quickly evaporates.

In oltober is in the village not more much the matter, apart from a few supermarkets. But we didn't mind, because the hotel directly at the longest sandy beach of corfu and you really great relaxing could.

Size and facilities of the room were for one week holiday completely okay.

Our needs were fully satisfied. The number of bars was adequate. We felt at home and were always full.

The friendliness the majority of staff left in comparison to holidays in other greek: islands (Rhodos, Kreta) something else to wish for. The communication was okay. With the room cleaning we were also satisfied. Disappointing was only the condition the towels (partly. Broken and frayed and rust stains on the clothes).

Cultural offer surprised us really. The animationstheam was very imaginative and despite last passage always friendly and hard, something to offer (for example. Beatles-evening). The beach and the water were very clean, also after the storm. The swimming pool was well maintained, the water but a bit too cold.

We experienced a pleasant holiday in a clear, neat hotel area. The food was varied, varied and tasty.

The proximity to the beach we really liked. Also the distance to the next bigger town was with the regular bus not a problem.

The room was the family room, in which also small friends stayed, meant ants. The rooms are badly soundproofed. The rooms are big enough. The mattresses should be repeatedly cleaned, we got bed bugs. The furniture is partly in need of renovation.

the main restaurant the summer certainly very busy. The selection of dishes is for a 4 star hotel standard. There were daily fish, poultry, pork, beef or rabbit. Daily there was a large salad buffet with delicious cheese and fresh zaziki. At the dessert area there was something for everyone.

The staff were friendly, if you in the restaurant wanted something to drink you had it but faster itself in/out privileges. The cleaning of the rooms left nothing to the imagination. Towels on the floor lay was to dry on the balcony hung, please safety own forward to carry.

We have V on the pools made no use, because the sea was simply great. The beach was clean. Loungers and sun screens there was plentiful. (5 Euro per day). Leisure offers at the beach were in our opinion overpriced.

The sandy beach is a very large hotel, the complex actually consists of 2 complexes. The front, with shallow pool and slides is very noisy and the way to the sea very long. We were in the newer part building, which includes a big pool with enough sunbeds. The complex is relatively clean. While we were there, there were too many guests from Eastern Europe present. The staff came mainly from Poland. We arrived on saturday at o'clock and had over an hour waiting for the room. During our travels the hotel was only occupied by half. In the peak season I can very loud and stressig imagine.

The transfer to the airport takes about 1 hour. The beach is wonderful, for long walks ideal. The sea sloped down. In the surroundings there are some small taverns. From the hotel you can take the public bus cheap the island explore.

The rooms were big enough, unfortunately is the terrace in the children's room. The beds were oversized and very comfortable, the cleanliness the mattress we did not want to see. By the charwoman were the beds in the parents room usually provided apart and had only again pushed together are. The bathroom is very small and poorly arranged ( approximately 3 meters²). In the showers is generally the toilet wet, since no separation was available. The rooms are badly soundproofed. The tv didn't many germans program clean play.

There is a big restaurant ( all inclusive) with beautiful terrace, in addition, there was also at a charge a à la carte restaurant. The food was very good, especially the freshly prepared meat- and fish dishes. It was very lots of different salads, good bread. Wide selection of side dishes, meat and fish. There were local dishes, but also usual food (spaghetti, fries, fish fingers...).

Service at the bars and in the restaurant was very good, the staff were dedicated and very friendly. Some speak German, apart from that the communication was well possible on English. The cleaning of the rooms was very superficial, especially in the bathroom. Partly bath towels only dried and back hanging, after two complaints the exchange but worked well.

The pool was ok. , even if daily some chemicals kanisterweise are, before he was partly very cloudy. Chairs and sunscreens stayed in the pool area sufficiently available. The chairs at the beach are subject to a charge (5 to 6 Euro). Since we were here only to the quiet pool anyway, we had peace for animation activities.

Hotel is huge, approximately 1500 beds ( estimated) in various 2-story flats. The area is very extensive, but you can reach everything very fast. The way from the front desk to the beach is approximately 500 meters. Up to the public toilets in the pool area was the complex very clean. All inclusive from morning 10:00 A. M. until: o'clock evenings. There were about 20% germans guests, rest from France, England, Russia and other eastern european countries.

The hotel is directly at the beach, depending on where your room is but approximately 500 meters on foot. Transfer from the airport approximately 50 to 60 minutes the small village Agios Georgios seemed very empty, offers however different shops. There it was also cheaper than in the hotel's own supermarket. The flat sandy beach is for children and adults good, the hardwood floors are in need of renovation, could also more often even the trash away (cigarettes, bottles...). In the hotel you can rent a car, price similar to vendors in the place.

Family room 3 room, 2 large bedroom with larger anteroom with sofa bed. Bathroom was renovated, but in desolate condition. Always had a current water tap ( was not also repaired) and a bad toilet flush (also wasn't repaired). We also had a big lake in the bathroom whence came we never find out. The balcony was very big. We were on the ground floor with a view of a hedge. Had therefore always very many gnats on the balcony and also in the room. Also was always a very musty odor on the whole apartment.

The restaurant was definitely too small for the many guests. We have always tried not to the rush hour to go, which was a little more relaxed was. But unfortunately the many noticed and the last few days was there then also very busy. Totally hectic and no peace for the food, quite noisy. The service in the restaurant ( service and clearing the things) was also not so great, although sufficient staff around. The dishes, particularly the mugs, were often still dirty. Unfortunately had the food very often repeated. For breakfast there were unfortunately always the same sausage. The scrambled eggs were... There the words are missing to me. I am usually not the typical kvetch, I express for a lot the eyes, but even as I was disappointed also about the whole hotel.

Partly very friendly service thereby, the eastern european staff. Unfortunately these daily in other spaces in the restaurant changed. It was therefore the service the last few days unfortunately bad. You should also have sufficient English are provided with, since most service staff respectively staff only understand English. It pleased me, because I could my English once again enable and my son learned so already sometimes English. Unfortunately there is always other guests the not accepted and vehemment in your language progressing wanted. Must unfortunately now admit, very many German speaking, not only German also austrians. In the hotel there was a doctor with a German speaking helper, the very busy were especially with the many wasps and bees (no matter where one was, also for the food especially for the food) and the bad condition of the decking by the pool. Complaints were taken note of but not enough attention ( for example next to the room door, a wasp nest, after 4 days still no response). The cleaning of the rooms was, more I can say to it not (despite tip). Really bad was the service for the guests the very had to leave early. We had our breakfast at: o'clock in the restaurant, there was just dried bread with 2 different marmelade, there was just coffee or cold milk. No juice or sometimes water for children. The we could ourselves have saved. We would have been from the day before fresh bread and butter forward would have been better. We had this service already in other hotels and there was also a real breakfast.

But what I really want to emphasize is the great animation specially the child care. Here once again a very big praise goes to the team. Our large was really amazed and with a weinendem eye heimgefahren.

Very big complex with long due to the beach or restaurant ( if you in the upper level of the hotel is housed). But a super sandy beach with flat water ideal for kids. This was the best! Guests: very many eastern europeans (70%) french, belgian, austrian and English,. In the upper level the hotel is active pool. Unfortunately were also often evening events and we had our room ( family room 3 room) right next to it. Of course is bad, since we had a small child with us, the at o'clock already wanted to sleep. Even with closed bedroom door, it was not silent. Maybe the time a suggestion for improvement for the hotel management as something to change, as it is a family hotel should be. The amphitheater was in the lower area the hotel at the beach where very many events were. To our only regret was concurrently on the neighboring property with the restaurant a construction site, the although it is very silent was, but probably an expansion of the hotel is. In view of this fact, the complex still unüberschaubarer (even bigger) than it was already and it is not more recommendable is. Except one likes such large plants.

The location is actually super, directly at the beach. To the place one has only a few meters, where a few shops and taverns are. Only about 38 kilometer from the airport way ( transfer time 1 hour ) directly in front of the hotel stops a bus to Corfu city only 3 €costs. However it drives only 1 time in the morning at: o'clock and the bus back goes at: o'clock in Corfu city. Unfortunately somewhat just as most of the shops closed for lunch are. The forts to see it is a little tight. Unfortunately.

In September no problem with space in the restaurant. Food was always enough to brought. The wine from the 'tetra pak' you can't drink except for Cola mixed.

The young girls and boys from Eastern Europe ( Poland) were very hard.

Enough loungers by the pool available. The terrassenholz in the pool area is in some places damaged.

The hotel complex is now already very big. Next year will 3 new building join?! The staff I am now already suffering. Very, very many children-and always whinge which, no matter wether in the dining room or at the pool. The hotel should actually hotel for children rename. For those looking to relax tourist terrible. The food was actually good, but not very varied. Lots of guests from Eastern Europe. The staff in the restaurant was mostly from Poland.

Hotel with direct access to the beach. Very nice sandy beach. The quality of the water is not the best (after storms and storm was' yellow foam ' and a lot of trash visible) on the way to the village was each second restaurant because of inefficiency closed.

We were the 5. malin agios gergios and it was top class. The symbiosis of staff and management was excellent. It all went hand in hand. The food was magnificent. Multi kulti of the finest quality.

Quiet seaside location to Kerkyra with the taxi only 45 Euro for 40 kilometer

Therefore the we the room only for sleeping and shower used, it has its purpose fully met. It was clean and spacious.

The food repeated almost every day, but a wide selection of salads and very good desserts.

Partly very friendly staff. With a bit of English knowledge one gets ahead well.

the hotel itself is clean, room were cleaned each day. Unfortunately the hotel is very big, therefore it a bit impersonal. A really mixed clientele, which was definitely positive.

Great beach, we can really recommend. Unfortunately is the at the beach 6 Euro per day for chairs and an umbrella be required. We are therefore in a supermarket and have our own sun screen bought, which considerably cheaper and we therefore also secluded from masses at the beach were convenient. A few hundred meters further is the small village of ag. Georgios, for a evening walk after eating good recommendable.
