Nice hotel as a starting point for hiking in scenic berchtesgadener land countryside. Hotel rather ageing and a little bit run-down, but clean and tidy. Great food - both large choice at the breakfast, as well as tasty and plentiful dinner. read more

Hotel köppeleck, that was like at home! From the check-in up to the check-out, simply great and great! Hotel a bit noisy, still quiet and unique location. The service, the friendliness of the staff especially the half board were just great. Again and again! read more

The hotel and interior is not the newest, but if you wanted it a bit rustic like, is in good hands here. About the cleaning the room and restaurant there was exactly little to complain about as to the very friendly and hard-working staff.
We booked half board. As for 'season-closing' were there, was the selection of food in the morning at the breakfast buffet and evenings at the salad buffet on some days somewhat limited, but still quite rich. Evenings after a soup of the day and a ( unfortunately always same) tossed salads the choice between three main ... courses, of which always a vegetarian is.
Although we for good eaters hold, we did despite some sechststündigen hikes never managed, everything to up-eat, which is not very good to very good quality, but the quantity the main courses was owed. The drink prices for dinner were adequate, a bit unusual we found it, after all dinner charged.
The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, about 500 meters away of the main street - but if you for hiking as is, it is certainly no problems have. The Königssee is on foot about minutes reached, if you use the nearby Berchtesgaden hiking would, with approximately 75 tight gewanderten minutes one-way be expected. For hiking offer in the region already hundreds of routes in, it was around the altitudes of königssees, the nearby jenner or watsmann -here is for beginner as for experienced hikers more than enough to discover.
As to our time a winteinbruch came, we have the favor of the hour and are used to kaprun to the kitzsteinhorn glacier (> 3.000 meters, about minutes by car) dangers, a round skiing.
Another destination is the via car circa 20 minutes away Salzburg.
All together in spite of the share outdated furnishing throughout recommendable hotel, whose value for money convinced us - we will be back. read more

Very relaxing hiking vacation in a beautiful, peaceful location. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The dishes ( half board) are delicious and sufficient. Part areas of the hotel are urgently in need of repair (window, foot and carpets and so on). Also the furniture is partly very old, although the mattress in bed again was very good. Altogether everything was okay and we will come again. read more

Actually we liked it, food is very good, half board is worthwhile, room have already gotten a bit old, partly very run-down. Booking via tour operator is usually a lot cheaper! read more

Hotel in a peaceful location, for a vacation for relaxing very good. The staff were super nice and accommodating. The rooms are rather in the 80's style, so rustic meets it there probably. The rooms were but clean. From the balcony one has a wonderful mountain views. To eat we must unfortunately say that it did not taste us what our vacation feeling unfortunately very troubled. read more

Nice in a wonderful location with friendly staff. The furnishing of the rooms however leaves a lot to be desired ( old worn furniture), bathroom very small and old. With the half-board can/you have to evenings between three dishes, much better if the whole thing in buffet form. The salad buffet is very sparse, the salad itself way too big cut. Breakfast only until 10 o'clock. Good is, you as a hotel guest its own table. No internet until now, but in 14 days be ready. The staff are very friendly and hard-working. read more

The reception was very nice and there was a lot of effort for us with all we had questions are willing to help. The room was very pleasant and we had three in enough capacity. We started off very comfortable, our room had a balcony with a view of the mountains. The staff we enjoyed very friendly included. The food was also delicious. We were for one night the Königssee because of the tv-Totally Wok-WM. But would at any time return, because the area around the Königssee super we liked it. read more

Hotel lies somewhat remotely in Schönau, however quiet and quaint.

It was a very nice break. Would stay there again at any time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. From there you had very good destinations, the königssee is only two kilometer from there. And you could also very good with the bus to everything. read more

The hotel is located in a very beautiful countryside not far from the königssee lake. All destinations in the surrounding area by bus and easy to reach by car. With the guest card, you can use the public buses for free. In the evening there was always a delicious with half board three course dinner and a salad buffet, there should be something there for every taste. The staff was very friendly and the service very quickly, even if you wanted to eat outside as we instead of the on-site restaurant. The room decor is a bit dated, but it ... was always clean. The most beautiful thing was the view from the balcony of the kehlsteinhaus and the Jenner. read more

Budget hotel in peaceful surroundings, breakfast really good and plentiful, for dinner choice of 2 dishes, we were satisfied everything delicious. Staff at the front desk, as well as on the journey home very friendly. The furnishing works somewhat coolly, hardly any decoration in the restaurant, furniture in the room already somewhat older. Cleanliness was great! Which we a great shame found, the attention was (my man had birthday) would have been nice. Value for money is well, that is why we recommend the building further. read more
