Barrackenzimmer big enough,
Large beds, a blessing,
Spacious grounds with pizzeria, billiards, restaurant and pool,
But otherwise at the end of the world, in the outback in the desert
Hotel resort with pendulum bus or on foot 15 minutes small shopping distance,
Strongly increased prices in camp
Uluru, with 1 trillion annoying flies and yet 41° in february!

On our tour of Australia we have 1 night spent in the hotel. The hotel for our travel group the tour operator occasion.
For the nights the room Uluru -Kata- Tjuṯ a national park there is a hotel area. On a Rundstraße are different hotels - of different price categories and a campsite.
Our hotel consisted of individual houses with a variety of ground floor rooms/ apartments. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was clean.
In all hotels in Australia there were on the rooms kettle and bags coffee - with both, as well as without caffeine-tea and milk. ... Since we in the morning to the sunrise on the Uluru were driven - without breakfast - we could at least before a cup of coffee for the 'wake' drink.
In the hotel we have no breakfast receive.
In the hotel area there was restaurants and kiosk. To the advanced Areal there is also a ' village center' with various shops, a supermarket, post Office and so on our hotel on the opposite side of this' village center'.
The hotel has swimming pools. read more

We had as a part of our round trip a night in this complex. In comparison to Kings Canyon made us here but better. Special highlight for us was the BBQ, where one its meal can barbecue. From live music boxed, this was a beautiful evening. One nutzet this hotel actually only for the visit of Uluru (Ayers rock) and Kata Tjuta (Olgas). This means full program, so that one of the complex little is. Nearby there is a small purchase center with supermarket and various souvenir shops. Because of the exclusive location are the prices also here a bit ... higher. Including the drive to the sunset the Uluru it was a very nice and unforgettable evening. We then on the next day a helicopter -circular flight the sunrise retreat (250, -per person). For us was a great experience, took 30 minutes and went to Uluru, then at Kata Tjuta past back. You only need a little luck with the weather. read more

comfortable hotel area with small bungalows, beautiful pool and a very nice dining area. By far the cleanest hotel at our outback tour, no animals (and we are sensitive!) in the room, very friendly service and great management of complaints.
we had only the room, no meal times locked, but we have evenings in the hotel eaten. read more

A typical monopoly situation-hotel, in the form of a this competition site would hardly viable. Since the alternative but even more expensive (not much better and perhaps) are, you can for a night in the nettle. The room are rather shabby and not very clean, the food is it only bare snacks or the relatively expensive (but passable)-the restaurant offer buffet, if you not to (also not cheap) 'grill-alternative' with brewery tables even want to take. read more

As already repeatedly written: Yes it is true, the Ayers rock resort is now the only hotel complex at Ayers rock. That is actually the prices are clearly too expensive. The outback pioneer lodge was certainly one simple to the more accommodations. But we were satisfied: the room was not luxurious, from the size but OK and clean, the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, the pool was for a short cooling OK, and where can you have stayed in a hotel in the evening to the BBQ grill itself be meat (also if it is also very ... expensive). Conclusion: the Ayers rock visit at sunset and sunrise-when one is then in the hotel? So was the accommodation perfectly in order. read more

It's already much to this' first impression on expensive ' overnight stay possibility written, so just a few comments. We had exactly, what we expected it-a possibility, you just use, as necessary. The exclusive location and just the demand determine the price Uluru to visit anyway is not a bargain (for example didn't know this, that entrance in the adjacent national park per person 25 from costs). Room didn't seem clean, then it's probably not, we did not look closely-communal toilets, showers, in the immediate area. Our room had a double bed, and a floor bed, refrigerator, kettle, tv and ... mosquito-repellent spray. As in all such places the bugs-spray to standard include spray. However, we were lucky and no unpleasant guests.
We enjoyed the great, evening atmosphere, if many people on the grill gather together and BBQ, live music/we automatically with people. The ingredients you can buy for about 18-35AUS there. We chose a steak with salad buffet, as well as skewers, what made us then to 50 from poorer. Nevertheless, we had a fun evening at the outback. read more

The outback pioneer hotel, like the other hotels in Ayers rock to a beautiful area with supermarket, etc. the outback pioneer is the cheapest hotel in this area and yet it is quite expensive. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this hotel. The room was dirty, very run-down and under the room door lock was about 2 centimeter high gap it a (who knows what since all crawls).
Conclusion: after an almost sleepless night of this, we were very disappointed. Whether two or five star hotel, clean it should always be! As the only place to stay in the area ... Ayers rock is, we find it a pity, that the price/performance ratio is very bad! read more

We had booked this hotel, for a way, while we travelled through the outback.
The room was very basic and rather dark. There were only two blades window next to the door, so no natural light in the room.
The room itself was a double bed, a single bed, a desk, a fridge and a tv, just three programs were started. Does not matter, you are in the desert.
The bedding had the best days and were not cleaned. When the floor last time they mopped, is not known. It was very dirty!
There was a separate toilet and a ... shower room in the room.
So everything was available, which one needed.
The hotel is a sprawling complex with several bungalows. There is a restaurant, a public kitchen and a grill restaurant, in the evening as well as live music is played. The BBQ restaurant can also for not buy grilled meat and salads. In addition there is the bar, the beer is much more expensive than in the supermarket.
In front of the hotel parking lot is a gift shop, here you sometimes get bargains.
The supermarket nearby and you can here were very good and cheap shopping. So, here they QUOTE and in the hotel's grill-station to boil, if you want to save some money.
You can exchange money also good at the front desk, you save itself to the way in the 'shopping center'.
'Shopping center' in there is a post office and the excursion office. We definitely recommend, already in Germany a hire car. This is much cheaper than a getawy package to how you are independent. The offered excursions were partly very expensive.
If you can do without the comfort, this hotel well served. We booked this hotel, since it was the cheapest deal and we spent most of the time anyway on the way were.
So we can also recommend this hotel. read more

With the shuttle to take you to all the other hotels or even in the supermarket.
The rooms are very spacious and clean.
Possibilities for excursions were offered enough.
In the evening you can relax at the grill and live music all sorts of meat (crocodile, EMU etc.) roasts.
Directly behind the outback pioneer there is a viewpoint overlooking the Ayers Rock and Kata tjuta.
A little tip: buy these hats with the mosquito, the flies are incredibly pushy and crawl in ears and nose ☺ read more

we booked this hotel as part of a tour for one night and were quite pleased. The location of the hotel is perfect for tours to Ayers Rock and to the Olgas.

The voyages outback pioneer hotel & lodge is located in the hotel and village yulara at the edge of the Uluru and Kata tjuta national parks. Police, fire, gas station, Information Center, post office, different stores and a shopping center, everything was available. Hotel and lodge provide comfortable and simple accommodations (also shared rooms) but all weren't exactly cheap.
We had budget room (shared rooms) with en-suite bathroom. It was very small and with two bunk beds and at the first glance clean. A small shower and extra toilet and a hair drier were the decor. There was not a ... closet, but two shelves and a work desk were in the room. Three chairs, fridge, electric kettle, coffee mug with four coffee and tea rounded the decor. There wasn't't a tv. Air conditioning worked well and was very quiet. A safe wasn't't available. The room was very tired and not very inviting, but the beds were clean covered and also the towels were clean. Our irritations are the black bugs. They were crawling around everywhere. When I looked under the bed is almost passed the stay in the room. Everything full of dead bugs, it was certainly a days wasn't't swept. We went to sleep before we did the door and window with towels sealed, but still walked in the morning the bugs in the room. Since we have two four bed room had the we could sleep in the upper beds. So we felt a bit safer. We could also have been higher category can change, but that would have cost about 240 EURO for two nights more. No Thanks. We also enjoyed the two nights so good.
The hotel has a large outdoor grill area. There is a bar to buy fresh meat and fish, then you can barbecue. There is also a self-catering kitchen and laundry facilities. If you don't want to whip itself be for the food there is a restaurant and pioneers kitchen pizza. Pizza from 15, $50A, Hamburger 10, $50A, Chee burgers 8, $00A. It wasn't 't't cheap, but it wasn' t't very good. There is a large bar area there are alcohol only on presentation of room key. Draft beer cost $5,80A. Every evening live music. There is also a lounge with tv and internet room with several computers. You need to use them $20 cent pieces or two. In front of the hotel there is plenty of parking (free) and a swimming pool to cool off.
TIP
nine kilometer away from the hotel in the immediate vicinity to Ayers Rock there is a large car park from where you can enjoy the spectacular sunset. Definitely go early every night because the parking lot is quite busy. Sunrise I did not like. A walk (or run) at the Ayers Rock is highly recommended but unfortunately you may not photograph of the most beautiful places. This prohibition will face a sentence of up to $5000 a. At the Olgas the eight kilometer long valley of the Winds tourist trail recommendable, but in the big heat the way from 11 hours closed. A visit to the cultural center with an extensive collection of the culture of anangu is very interesting. The entrance to the park costs $25 a for three days. read more
