The hotel normally makes a very good impression, in the entrance area it is large and friendly.
The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.
The size of the room was for this stay ok, the bathroom however too small (even if only for 3 days was).
The hygiene is on the first view absolutely okay.
Unfortunately were noticeable to me a few things on the nothing special hygienic. (for example was the bathroom not properly cleaned, there were still hairs in the bath and in the bathtub)
We had only the breakfast booked, but it was top! There was ... everything here is really something for everyone.
The wifi was partly fancy. (i had thereby not a problem - in some rooms there was not at all i have colleagues received) read more

The hotel lies directly at a underground station in a central location, it is however getting a bit old, for a short stay enough. The town center you can on foot easy to get to, the Donau is located just a few meters away. Breakfast buffet just satisfactory, the hotel not appropriate. read more

An above-average good hotel with good and helpful staff. The metro station is just next to the hotel. The National museum is only 200 meters away. The large market hall is located in the immediate area.
The guests are from many nations. I can recommend this hotel. read more

The hotel leigt for a city break optimal. The S-Bahn station is right in front of the door.
The artery Budapest's right on the other side of the street.
All sights are reachable on foot, if necessary with the train and walking back.
The rooms are not the largest, but for 5 days fully adequate. The cleanliness is OK, but not perfect.
The bed sheet has seen better times.
Since we a room to the inner courtyard had we could even without noise with the window open sleep.
The breakfast could more variety endure, but it was always sufficient, both ... the square in the restaurant, as well as the dishes. The staff until at the end always refilled.
That rolls and the bread but always as yesterday tasted, is for Hungary typically, as the things at the baker outside always were a little on the hard side. read more

The US offered Triple room, it turned out than tiny double room extra bed, not even 2 persons move. After complaint we received however without surcharge a junior suite, the in size was acceptable. According to Informatin of the hotel there are in the hotel no Triple room, but always only extra beds. The breakfast I found a total catastrophe. I am already in the world toured around and also in smaller hotels stayed, however I have never had such bad and uncomfortable breakfast. The breakfast buffet was rather clear in the offer, in the any fresh Ingredient was missing; ... no fresh fruit, no tomatoes, cucumber or something like that. The Basisutensilien, as coffee spoons, Joghurtschale, sugar, salt, pepper you had to try to other tables to get, since the waiters weren't able, this on request to bring or willing to put. The organization of the lost our appetite was extremely to desire. I would never come back to this hotel, in spite of the central location. read more

The standard rooms are the facilities of the Mercure hotel chain. Our room was clean, big enough for a Wochenendstädtetrip and with all the amenities, as we from a hotel of this kind of expect.
the breakfast buffet, in our package was, was really reasonable. Since we in January was traveling, it was in the hotel very quiet, the structure at the weekend very International. read more

The hotel was modern and nicely equipped. It is very centrally located, within walking distance are sights, transport and restaurants within easy reach. Although we had a privilege room, we loved the size of the room as well as the bathroom disappointed. Guests will enjoy the privilege room could take several days we had breakfast in the bar, which was very pleasant. There was no rush and the offer was, as to be expected in four stars hotels, also available. Three days we had-for some inexplicable reason-in the normal breakfast food, which was a pain. There were hardly any freedom ... of places, the staff was overstrained and the breakfast was more than poor. So I have in No four stars hotel. Otherwise there was in the hotel everything was clean and neat. The staff was very friendly and competent. (Exceptions breakfast area) read more

The location is the plus of the hotel. Metro, tram and bus station right in front of the house. The restaurant street ràday utca begins right across the street. The rooms are on two houses. I had a privilège room in the live-hurry on the other side of the road, combined with a inhouse bridge in 2. and 3. stoock. In order to achieve these must always first the elevator in hauotteil use, this is however always busy. On my booking confirmation (total price) was a totalpreis in Euro including breakfast listed, in the hotel arrived said unfortunately then: breakfast ... not included. Request for a smoking room was not met. read more

Budapest 2 days. it was just great! Actually we had booked the best Western art hotel ** *, but the sudden had no place more for us and we were in the hotel Mercure ** * * (without an extra charge!) sent the hotel is very beautiful and modern. The best from the is great central location. You can reach everything to foot, we had only a taxi from the train station to the hotel-never-and the has cost us also only 10. The room was very beautiful decorated. Double-glazed windows, new TV and a bath tub. Simply wonderful ☺
Sauna ..., pool and massages are free! The hotel is quite large. it has seven or eight floors and consists of two buildings. Of course, there are lifts available. The staff speaks German and is very polite and nice. Also very good was, that the hotel offered a currency exchange service (HUF- ) for the current exchange rate.
The breakfast was very tasty, everything what the heart desires. From sweet to solid was simply everything was there. The coffee is also good ☺
At the bar there were tasty cocktails and you can also still smoking.
Our bags were kept up to our check out in the wardrobe. So we were able to us also the check-out without any fuss the town!
It is very many travel guides (sight seeing buses, ship round, hop-on hop-off buses) in two days we have seen a lot!
The hotel is absolutely recommendable to. Four deserved stars! read more

We were three girls in a double room, with Murphy bed, the bathroom is something small, but we arrived to three in the room very well managed.
Balcony is not available, you can but outside on a terrace smoking or in the lobby. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, but in the restaurant it was unfortunately something loud, due to the many guests. Staff spoke good english and was always friendly. Hotel is very centrally located, close to everything: underground station, a large market hall, 'food' street with many small restaurants.
Had a very pleasant short stay at a good price in ... a nice hotel. read more

The hotel is not connected with the garage you are forced to hiking constantly between the houses. The parking garage is so tight that per floor only 4 cars can be parked. The driveway is) where with bidirectional about about 8 levels. Hotel and staff are good, but the menu is boring and the food is good. read more

We just returned from this hotel can recommend going in the summer because the room air-conditioned and Budapest rather hot summers. The front desk staff is very friendly and serves all the wishes and requests were immediately met. The only drawback is the Room cleaning staff of the room, this was more careless (on arrival for example. The toilet was pointed out to the toilet inside strong signs of the "business" of the previous lodger on, we in all the years even in 2 star hotel I have never experienced that) after a complaint was the glasses was serviced (although ... not 100% But we had even yes thank goodness disinfectant as a precaution) from the dust cleaning kept the room-girls on not much. We had only booked with breakfast. Unfortunately, It was for a 4 star hotel minimal. (On the balance of our vacation at the Mercure in Vienna a few years ago that looked much better) but we were full. Due to the location (next to the metro. Train station) and the friendliness can we the hotel still recommend for a city break to Budapest. read more

Hotel is very centrally located next to the underground station. From the bus station nepliget with the blue underground only 5 minutes. Next to the hotel is a 24 -hour supermarket. The shopping area (pedestrian zone) Váci utca it is a 5 minute walk to the Danube, less than 10 minutes walk. A beautiful old market hall is also nearby. Tram stops in front of the hotel. The value for the price hotel is very good. Rooms are large and new furnished, in-room safe. Bathroom big enough, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion there are free. courtyard room would be ... preferrable, since these quiet pool chairs, as the hotel is a multilingual street and there is also a tram stop. We stayed on a bed/breakfast and the was absolutely all right, there was everything you want, except for some vegetables (tomatoes, peppers) could I missed. I would go back in a heartbeat. read more

The very clean hotel Mercure Korona is centrally located (center with subway in about 10 minutes walking) very close to the metro station "Kalvin ter". The large enough for a city break rooms are located in 2 buildings, but are connected with a glass bridge. We were traveling as a group and the check-in/check-out was smooth. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. We had bed and breakfast and the buffet could be seen. In addition the usual assortment there were several sorts of cold meat and cheese, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon as well as several types ... of yogurt and cereal. Only the breakfast service was a bit "slow". It always something missing. The contemporary, very clean rooms, equipped with telephone, satellite television, safes and minibars, the bathroom with tub and hair dryer. In summary, for a city break really recommendable. read more
