Incredibly, just a two-class hotel, guests the here all inclusive booked with alltours have, have only disadvantages and being treated in such a way also, as an all inclusive guest is assigned to a post-mortem examination (zone) in the restaurant, one is beautiful by the paying guests separated and one is then also not happy if you are at the buffet twice what the food. The drinks for all inclusive guests were watered beautiful with tap water or sweet lemonade, even bottled water is still with tap water mixed. Incredible and coffee is only from the cafeteria machines. Stay away ... from this hotel. read more

We were pleased in general. We had a great weather, up to 35°. The breakfast was each day the same. But to lunch and in the evening it was more choice and was very tasty. The employees were always very polite. The only really negative thing about the hotel is, one for the mats you need to pay for the beach chairs the must want to lie (1 euro per day), if one walked directly on the sea, the means on a stone floor, you must pay for the six euros for a beach chair and umbrella. The is in ... my opinion a joke. read more

Be careful with this CT, if you don't want to adventure experience! The hotel was built in the 80' Ger years, and since the good! All-inclusive? We had booked, but all extras should pay on site... In this hotel is even the bottled water watered down with tap water! So much to all-inclusive value. ☹ read more

Decent hotel in town Qawra!!! Would gladly book again!! The many negative opinions and reviews from many before I can't do not share!! The accommodation, as well as catering was always very good!! Even the so often badmouthed cleanliness and hygiene conditions in way we couldn't understand! Everything was always clean and also dirty cutlery we could never find throughout the entire period! Even though the half board is very English style, anyway, we liked it always tasted good!! The choice and quality is always!! From and to have to you extra seasoning, it wasn't a problem: -)! read more

Our room was completely ok. Everything was really clean, and we had enough storage space in the closets and drawers. The bathroom fixtures don't look. Because of the base metal broke the lime around. Ask me why not swap such a quick bite, but otherwise it was top quality clean. 4 Star in Malta you should not compare with other countries or German standards.

  • Gastronomy
    4.0

The breakfast is just English, but really not as bad as others say. There was always something for everyone. Not the quality we Germans liked it maybe are used to but the English it tasted good. And they are the largest of the hotel guests. So of course turning after your palate. Dinner was also better every day. It is ok ... Not everything was very good. But there is always something tasty. Tasty goulash with different sauces, fish or pasta. Every day there was fresh vegetables and salads. You have to try them everywhere. And the cutlery and crockery supposedly dirty would we just couldn't parts. Everything was really super clean.

Internet access is 1 hour 2 Euros, 3 hours 5 Euro and 10 hours 6 Euro. But you need to use the time not at once. You can log on and the remaining time with the password and another time to use the internet. mostly the indoor pool and the two jacuzzis used, but both is quite small, if you considered the number of guests. As it puts you just a little closer and comes with very friendly English retirees to chat ;. )

The hotel is located in the place Qawra. The public buses quickly in St. Julian's and Sliema. In the capital city of Valletta you need about 30 minutes. It is also easy to get to all the beaches of Malta: Golden Bay and Mellieha Bay about 15 to 20 minutes by buses. bus schedule was available at the reception for free.

-Seems more of a hostel for youth and Spanish classes, in addition to be noise (e.g. B. At night the doors banging and way races) and dirt. - Room was ok. Clean and partly with air conditioning noisier, but intact. Bathroom very small, but also in order. Daily cleaning. -Cleanliness generally throughout the hotel ok. - We had "ocean view", which equates with streets and pool view. There is the noise from the street below or the evils. Worse is "music program", that every evening from bad singers and entertainers, not to be missed. -All-inclusive was worth it for ... German at all. The food is barely endurable. The existing nightclub, which you can get drinks included is open to the public on Saturday, otherwise only for the youth groups. The drinks and snacks (consisting of burgers, hot dogs and chips), the taken poolside, we took advantage of the all inclusive. -Age of the guests is at an average of 65 + and families with small children. read more

    - equipped with 2 twin beds, 2 closets, a dressing table, a small table, 2 chairs, a fridge (without contents), bedside table and air conditioning. Also TV is available, remote control was available for an extra charge. But it is only a German program welcome. The safe was in the room, key you got for an additional fee at reception. Also telephone was there, but I never used it and I can't comment on that. Balcony with 2 other plastic chairs. - Room was clean and was cleaned every day. Furniture (including the bathroom) was a bit out dated but within acceptable condition. You shouldn't closely, then I it was okay.

  • Gastronomy

    - Breakfast: Consisting of fetttriefendem, labbrigem odd scrambled eggs, bacon, baked beans etc. For German tongues unacceptable. The English it tasted good. - Lunch and dinner: consisting of the same "F" served buffet-style. Is bland and indefinable. Once in a liver pie bites, because I thought it was chicken (like the cook it also about it!). -It's enough musty in the dining room. -pots/pans not always completely clean. -Waiters shouting to each other across the hall on Maltese. Very unpleasant. -Plates were partially not refilled, if they were empty. -No service at the table, for every drink you have to walk to the bar. -Atmosphere reminds of students during.

  • Service
    2.0

-The front desk you can ask holes in the stomach, if the right people on duty. While others the guest but clearly feel, if you feel annoyed. -English is spoken. - Room cleaning service was daily and in my opinion also exhaustive. Towels were changed every day. There is no additional services - I don't know how / are. -Despite all inclusive for 11 days a key for the safe in the room 20€ paid. -an adapter think!! (or for 5€ at the front desk)

  • Sport & Entertainment
    3.0

-No sports possibilities available. Activities for children should be available, but we never heard. -Disco is only opened on Saturdays. Computers with Internet access are available, can be used for 2€ 60 minutes. -In the lobby are also several Unterhaltungsautomaten, such as billiards. - The pool is generally clean and filled with salt water. Beach chairs and umbrellas can easily accommodate arranged morning). -Showers are available, were very dirty and only 2 , the relevant not separated. The pool closes at 5pm -, whereas the personnel very impatient starts at 4pm put beach chairs. -Evening entertainment is loud and bad. Another Pseudosänger dudelt every night.

We were in November as part of the English-course with a group. The hotel was almost 100 % with English 65 +, the partly here for months the winter time occupied. The English found the hotel really good, because otherwise one could probably not stay here several months. For German so took some getting used to. The breakfast, egg bacon, beans, sandwiches and soft bread rolls, fruit salad yogurt the it wasn't a German breakfast, but so not bad. Coffee and juice came from the machine, which occasionally on strike, but quite enjoyable. Our Mittagsbox for the school consisted of ... 0,5 l water a sandwich in Plastikschatulle a piece of fruit, a small piece of cake, cookies, cheese and a yogurt. Can taste, if you like it but for 14 days we wanted a small surprise in the box. At dinner were again happy all nations. There was always fish, different kinds of meat and vegetables subdued, rice, potatoes and pasta. For dessert always cakes, ice cream, fruit, mousses. During our stay, the hotel was about half full. As two dining areas were closed. In this one but at least 500 food ready in the evening, so that there were always a feeling of big cantina wuickly. Dinner for two atmosphere? Forget it! But everyone got what he was looking for. For the evening entertainment was always provided. Bingo every day on its plan, live music was then, also a dance was offered. The program was adapted for elderly English audience, but we still did with the oldies fun at the bingo. read more

Simply furnished but cupboard space for two weeks. As I said our mattresses were new (5th floor) and the room was also further replaced. The shower curtains were new with mildew on the silicone wasn't there. We had a room in the courtyard. The view was of about 250 small balconies. somewhere in the courtyard fitted cooler is not bearable without ear plugs, also the notion that of these, if only "reckoned balconies at least 500 eyes on my room could be addressed is depressing. But our oldies were all very quiet, early from the balcony, because it already at 5 .00pm it Dawned, so not a problem for us. TV and hair dryer were firmly tied to the Stechdose by thermal bonding. Refrigerator was available.

It is a decent 3 star hotel with a good value for money. Good starting point for excursions. Nice shopping nearby, as well as small cafes and restaurants. During our stay at the havel August the hotel booked and of at least 80 % English to be occupied. As the pool area is not the greatest, it was plentiful crowded. OK in size, the furnishings were completely used and battered. Mold everywhere, in the bathroom, on the lamp shades, drawers, air conditioning, we received dirty towels with huge holes, the closet door couldn't be closed, the curtain rods were rusty, the mattresses were saggy. Toilet flushing worked only occasionally. The ventilation didn't work at all.

  • Gastronomy
    1.0

Unimaginative, monotonous food, it looked cheap, for example. jelly 4 times a week for dessert, there was only melon and apple sauce, no clean standards at the buffet, the waiters put cutlery in out again later, but never used the handle touched their trouser pockets, disgusting! Dirty tablecloths everywhere and also already dirty dishes. The hotplates were filled with an undefinable stock. Cafeteria atmosphere. A dripping air conditioning on the tables of the guests and mold spores emptied all over the room.

Extremely unfriendly staff with a typically tipping affected behavior, all of them were grumpy and listless. understand German, but they didn't even speak their own language unless they were tipped. no service at all, drinks were basically served in plastic cups only, no service at the table, we found only dirty not orderly tables, the plastic tablecloths were moldy underneath moldy. Room there was disgusting conditions in all service areas. Complaints were whitewashed by our own tourist guide.

Indoor swimming pool and sauna were of operation, the 18 -hole mini golf area just with 6 hidden slabs in an idyllic completely out of order. At the pool too few pool chairs were they were all dirty and broken. In a tin like sardines. At 5pm using a Wasserschlauchs the guests. There was smelly leftover food on the from the barbeques the locals had every night. accesses only over slippery, with seaweed smeared steps, between the rocks again waste and leftovers vergammeln there. plastic tablecloths were moldy underneath the entire pool area moldy from below, above dirty, rusted Stuhlbeine & table, all dirty and pool chairs were defect. We were this hotel as upper category sold with 4 stars. There was mold in the bathroom, mildew in the dining area. This hotel is "optimized" British, that means breakfast and the rest of the food, is now less what people who don't want to smokers only, and want to be full. We stupidly half board, were once at night as it is, and we had passed. From the breakfast similar, baked beans, tougher bacon, English sausages, moldy smelling toast. Although the rooms had everything a 4 star hotel, but should makeover. Had originally asked for a room in the ... courtyard, which was rather a industrialized building makes up for us then complain to the travel agent, the then itself has admitted the cheek (mold in the bathroom, old beds with a board instead of a slatted frame, everywhere hiccups at the furniture and walls, the toilet flush did not "clean" work, despite complaints were made, and a very polluted air conditioning) sea view room as compensation will receive and had not bothered about argument, but therefore the food, the pool and the rest of the hotel avoided. The island itself is very nice, the nightlife in Qawra not really available, but with a modest rental car you're around! So get away: Please prior to this hotel, as it wasn't very cheap! read more

The hotel is very centrally located. From there you can explore Malta very good. The beach in front of the hotel is a rocky, but the water was very clear and we didn't have any problems with fire jellyfish. The beds in the rooms are uncomfortable, but if you have your holiday in your room, it was sufficient. The pool is always busy. read more

We got a new room after complaining. As was the lamp at least not more crooked and a little less mold in the bathroom. With a bed was the sheet so small that not the entire mattress was covered. Despite reporting this wasn't change it. The breakfast buffet was dingy and not very appetizing. The pool was quite nicely laid out, but even here not everything clean. The one bright spot was the integrated in the hotel café Royale. Very good coffee with cake, clean and friendly service. Well, that otherwise the island has to offer. So will give us ... the days in Malta memorable. read more

I have seen many travel from Alltours joined in and many places, but this hotel is the last. The rooms were okay, but the bathroom was so small that you when you leave the bathroom in a small corner push to get the door to get on. In the shower area were also just thick mold to find. If the towels changed daily, is doubtful. We had partially broken and dirty towels. The hotel is fully for old people and catered for the English. There was no real bar or a nice lounge for the evening. The evening entertainment is ... only by bad singing decorated. One evening should then dancers, they arrived but only around 2130pm. Before a bad singer on a stage show, half of the audience vergraulte. Our travel agent had no idea of duties and apparently also don't want to work. read more

We had a corner room and even smaller was the balcony. Our rooms overlook the courtyard. Although not a pretty sight, but was quieter than if you have a room with a view of the sea had which direction street. Although we had booked a non smoking room but a smoking room. In the room itself you not smell, but by the smokers moved around the smoke love to have us.

If you like the English cuisine is one was full. Every morning there was the same breakfast. The scrambled eggs must have been in water "fried'. It was sticky and looked unappetizing. The dinner was very good. For lunch we were - if at all - by the pool and have the advantage. The food was served only very very mild seasoned. partly had to the chef, the food austeilten seasoning, again.

Service? Our cleaning lady did not think it necessary to remove our glasses from the room. Only after I started to build a tower of the glasses, were they took time. But there is also something positive ... I have seen no reason, the cleaning lady tipping Conclusion: saved money. But the waiters were mostly nice. Had a few muffel they have in every hotel.

There were no sports facilities from the hotel. There was a small miniature golf course, but not very inviting. Two billiard tables, one was torn circulation. The entertainment more for retirees laid out, including the possibility had the hearing aid remove the horrible singing some singer must not listen to.
