- Room
We stayed in a 3 bed room. The room was very pleasant - modern and newly refurbished - especially but also very clean (also the shared bathroom was very clean). Furniture in the rooms a few - we had the 3 beds, small table, chair, two bedside tables and several hangers. So rather sparsely furnished ... (A shelf or small dresser wouldn't have been bad - for our clothes). Otherwise we had a balcony, which was very nice. The size of the room was just right, there was room for us and our luggage :)
- Gastronomy
A simple breakfast is included: toast, coffee, 1 sort of cheese, 1 sort of sausage, tea, jams, boiled eggs. The breakfast/sitting room is very bright and well fitted out, also with sofas and televisions.
- Service
The owner was very friendly and helpful, with very good English knowledge. Also the taken care of arrival was excellent - she was always all answered questions via email within a short time. We booked on the hostel also arranged a rental car - and this is also works smooth - even at a much reduced cost than it through the Mietbüros had made at the airport.

I recently stayed at the hostel Lavele with some friends. We were all very pleased! Don't be put off by the exterior of the building - inside you will find clean pleasant rooms and a friendly staff! I really can recommend this! Inside it was clean and well fitted out. We and the other guests at the time we stayed there were all around the 30ig ... and international, of course :) Breakfast attached.
- Location
The hostel is very centrally located but because it is in a fairly quiet side street. There is a karaoke bar next door but didn't bother us - the little bit of noise was not enough for us after a day's sightseeing day from the sleep suggessted :)! The hostel offers airport transfers and organized excursions. This but we didn't use it. The location is also perfect for sightseeing - you could reach many (almost all) historic sites. There are many shopping facilities nearby, the hostel is more or less round the corner from the main shopping street in Sofia, where you still have some good deals in the shops.
