We Booked this hotel with a Swiss travel agency for 9 people between 17 and 50 years. The bathrooms so small and the silicone around the tub fully mold even if you the bathroom after each showering the bath towels had, since everything was leaking there was only after 3 days fresh. The food mediocre, rarely correctly hot. There Russians apparently after eating no café drinks were for us no, the almost always same dessert we had to leave without café walkest, because it was forbidden from the next bar forbidden the café in the restaurant to take. We bought ... nescafé the was much better than the stale Filter coffee at the bar! In the entire hotel were perhaps 15 German speaking persons the staff were very friendly and helpful the location was the most already closed it was like a ghost town. read more

We were in the low season in Malia. The hotel is in a very good condition. The people are very friendly. It has two pools and a jacuzzi, a bar and a restaurant with a large substandard. For families this hotel was very suitable. The people are friendly and organize various activities. In the hotel area there were two billiard tables, a Pincponc -table, a minigolf course as well as a tennis court. The beach is directly in front of the door. It is very clean and the beach chairs available free of charge. The rooms are functional equipped. They ... are equipped with air conditioning, a bathroom with shower, balcony, tv, fridge and safety deposit box. The hotel area was very well-kept. The staff are friendly. Let yourself go and convince you. read more

Russian Vacation In Crete

In Russia alone, leisure programmes in Russian As the Swiss is lost. We moved our regular evening nightcap outside of the hotel. All-inclusive has a new meaning get. Many drinks in the hotel were adulterated, even the milk diluted with water?! The staff seemed overstrained and irritated. Except for the two head waiter they are friendly and even a smile on his face. The buffet is rather boring and Greek food you did not see them. Therefor Russian salad. The ladies at the front desk were rude and for a four stars hotel in the wrong place. At four stars ... are exaggerated. No decoration, everything in the warehouse style. Therefor the beach was very nice and the pool. A second vacation in this hotel is not in question. The best was, that we had friends with us and have made the best of it. Greeks should itself be! Then it would be nice for all. read more

Unfortunately, there were four of our seven days rainy. But overall the hotel and especially the very friendly and attentive staff, this is more than made up for. It is not without reason that we are already for the fourth time in the last 15 years former, but always only in October. The limited space of travel has shown us, that something had been improved in comparison to the last time the July and August should be in the vicinity, but much louder. But in the low season it was always top. read more

Malia is clearly a party place for many British people and also referenced as such mainly used. For children is the area not good. There are often times Schlägereinen. The people are friendly and the weather in the daylight nice, but how gesangt, for children and families it is not really suitable. It is to say, the Ballermann from Greece. read more

We were very pleased with the friendly staff and the large zugige essbuffet where there really was something for everyone here. The hotel is very quiet despite the purchase mile and bar in the vicinity for the young.
We also have very good rental car and offer the same trip goals.

When we entered the room the sloping rusty, moldy shower the priority, some hair on the floor and not encountering rooms at front desk took, we wanted to go back home. After consultation with the receptionist we were given another room. Very small, but it was reasonably likely. With the flash is not as good. Towels were changed 1 times, beach towels were never changed. The grounds and pool were very well maintained. As the proverb says " outside Hui, inside pfui ". In the restaurant there wasn't much choice and the cutlery was always dirty tableware. The waiters were ... always very annoyed with their work-in other words rude. No holiday to be recommended. read more

Compared to other hotels four star deserve with lots of goodwill maximum 3. The restaurant has standard cafeteria food, the furniture in the restaurant and room is in the 80 's, the bathroom fits into RV, most of the staff gave the feeling to be a bother, but the absolute worst at this resort are the two life guard/attendant with your whistle, the guests in a way that zurechtweisen, the equal. It's really a shame that this hotel at this beautiful location so conducted. read more

The hotel is in a great location. Right next to the party street - perfect for young people. It is 5 minutes from the shopping area as well as a variety of bars and restaurants (and even a McDonalds). The public buses to Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos are about 15 minutes away.
The hotel area is characterized by lots of palm trees and a bit of architecture. The building is made from cement slabs. The pools consist of a salt water pool directly in front of the beach and a swimming pool in the middle of the complex. They are ... cleaned and are in good condition.
The beach consisted of fine sand, but typically, for a tourist beach, one expects something dirty with hardly any shells. The sea is clear, but there was a reef directly in front of the hotel with many sea creatures, what made it impossible swim directly in front of the complex. For this, you need swim about 30m into the ocean. The room we had a sea view over the roof of the reception and the restaurant. It was small, but everything that we needed was available and in good condition (small TV, good adjustable air conditioning, spacious closets, balcony with a plastic table & chairs). The double bed consisted of two singles pushed together- not ideal for couples.
The restaurant was large and had a terrace with views of the pool and the sea, but the choice and quality of the food left a lot to be desired! It was nearly always cold and whoever is used to good food, prepare for your stomach to turn.
The servers were always friendly, but for the most gastronomically technical things, they were not able enough. We were never asked and we had a long wait to order things in the bar, although there was no queue, and if you wanted to order a soda, they gave still water. In general, the waiting staff seemed very rushed in relation to the amount of work that they actually had (Remark: we work in the food industry). Please note: for alcoholic drinks at the bar, apart from brandy, beer and raki, you had to pay extra. Cocktails, for example, cost €8.
Nearly all of the staff at the reception had good foreign language skills, but the staff were not very friendly. If you complained, they would not act on it. It seemed like the staff just wanted to make their customers unhappy.
The leisure facilities at the hotel itself were poor. The internet corner was out of service all week, and when we asked why at the reception, they just said that they couldn't do anything and that we should wait and see tomorrow. Apparently there was WIFI, but we could not access it with an Iphone. Of course, as described on the website, there was also a minigolf course- but only with nine holes- a small tennis court and a volleyball court.
The recreation activities offered by our tour operator, however, were varied, but you also had to pay extra. There were possibilities for city breaks to Heraklion and Chania, excursions to the islands of Spinalonga, Santorini and Chrissi, to Knossos and many more. Furthermore, you could also visit the Aqua Plus water park near Hersonissos (ideal for children from age 7+). Another possibility would be a jeep tour to the southern side of Crete.
All in all, we made the most of our holiday and really enjoyed it, despite all of the negatives mentioned. However, for the money that we paid, the hotel seems unreasonable in terms of value for money! read more
