In february i spent two weeks in the Bellevue Palma Real spent. It is a 4 star plus hotel but beware = category, don't forget ☺ From the outside, and the bar at first i was not impressed. The facades have their best days behind itself and also the pool area needs a renovation. However, we had a surprisingly clean room, which cleaned thoroughly every day was. Furthermore, the maids were always a lovely decoration from hand towels. One may here but also never forget, that you are in a communist country, in which everything is still very backward is ..., and not in a 5 star luxury resort on the Maldives. In this respect, i must say, that many vacationers with the absolutely wrong expectations of a holiday in Cuba there travel. Here it would be necessary, good to inform.-) The food was although monotonous but of good quality and plentiful. Most of the waiters and the rest of the staff are friendly and warm. There is many excursions, the about the hotel or the tour operator. The security is through a high volume of securities guaranteed. Animation is every day available and is quite varied. The beach was wonderful, fine sandy beach and turquoise clear water. At the beach you can catamarans or enjoy snacks and drinks at the All-inclusive bar cool off. All in all we had a very nice vacation! read more

Partly the hotel is a bit ailing. A share of the staff was only certain people nice. There was but also some of the very pleasant to us were. A large part of the hotel guests were cubans, the night, for the work to be taken, however therefor in the evening the hotel bar occupied, so that other guests hard on drinks came. The beach is not far away (300 meters)- many loungers and possibilities to the massage, pedal boats, catamaran and some (not all ) all inclusive-drinks. Every evening there was music night, nice for dancing or to eavesdrop ... the cuban sounds. On arrival in the evening i was a little shocked from the hotel, but in the sunshine on the next day absolutely okay. The furnishing is lower middle class. The cleaning lady came every day and attempted by decorate it friendly, which also succeeded. The hotel is located directly on the road, in the middle varaderos-a few steps away. The location is perfect. The hotel owns two large pools and it is served in the afternoon animation offered. read more

Not recommendable, vacation was a disastrous flop are 4 days before we left. Hygiene conditions catastrophic, service & staff totally unfriendly and rude. read more

Complex was definitely nice, but now is the age and the corresponding state of the hotel not too overlooked. In the entire hotel is plentiful ' geflicktes ' to see. Repairs are only as low as necessary has been made. Holes in the ceiling and water damage are nevertheless very often to see. The rooms were clean and the public spaces ( lobby and restaurants) completely reasonable. Flaws the shower at the beach bar and the pool area. We had all-inclusive, as almost in all hotels from Varadero. It was a balanced proportion between spanish, russians, french and German. Furthermore ... were all age groups represented. read more

    Our 1. Room was large and view of the sea and a fully molded badezimmerdeck and of the airconditioning was mold. We complained and were a new room received. 2. Room no view of the sea somewhat small, but no mold as the bathroom already was times reconditioned. Furniture has already gotten a bit old but fully functional. Mattresses were already worn out. The room was, also because of of tip, properly cleaned. With the room can one luck or bad luck have. Of 6 couples had to 3 paare move.

    Could definitely be better. 1. Main restaurant: every day almost the same and the afternoons and evenings. The food is very cuban and unfortunately inaccurately described ( for example fish, poultry and cheese) respectively not at all or quite wrong. You always had to to butter issues, because the planned bowl was always empty. The chicken was improper zerkleiner, so that you are always on pieces of bone eighth had not up to bite. Only the ice, großpackung bought, was good. Fruits and salad were available. Quality this was rather moderate. There was a pizzeria mostly not more had had. The bars had no Mojito, minzblätter from. However the whole week? All bar outside of the hotel had what. The rum was one of the cheapest taken. Apart from that is in general to say, that in the entire hotel you always only the forced will be made. Urgently you had to always the plates cleanliness test. Several plates were always dirty.

    The staff were very friendly and most helpful. It takes just sometimes a little long. A small talk with colleagues is just sometimes important, as waiting guests on drinks. Just everything in peace, but one is also in Cuba and not in Germany. In case of any problems with the room were always immediately helped us. The caretaker helped immediately with relamping or türproblemen. We complaints us on mold at the whole ceiling and without any problems a new room received. With German it is difficult, English worked really good. Best was however the travel agent on cuban with the front desk spoke. Russian the staff without any problems. Cleaning of the rooms the best right after the first cleaning 2 cuc for the cleaning staff lay, an investment it was worth it. Change of towels, cleaning worked without any problems.

    The hotel lies walking distance to the standkern of Varadero. It is about 300 meters to the beach. I found the way but not as disturbing, since at the beach a bar from the hotel was, where drinks and small snacks were offered. Varadero is apart from that a pure tourist place, almost exclusively hotels and souvenir shops. Nearby there are beautiful coralenriffe to explore.

The hotel is some 'important', renovated and clean ( for example restaurants, front desk, bars, theater), there are but also some places for example in the hallways and on the courses and some room, where you open ceilings, mold, dirt etc. Finds. It sounds but dramatic than it is. The hotel is simple ageing, but it is absolutely clean. The rooms are cozy and are cleaned thoroughly every day. The beds are very big. There is a balcony with a view of the sea ( as it is on both sides sea there, the always-) and the air conditioning ... is silent and works well. You just must not to high expectations and then it was super there vacations! Us it was important the cleanliness/ hygiene and the beach compensated anyway for everything else. You must be aware, that there is a all inclusive- hotel and not much with Cuba to do. If you a nice beach vacation wanted it was perfect and if you wanted to see more, you can also great from the hotel from different tours book or on own fist start. read more

    The rooms were clean, large, had a good working air conditioning, a tv, safe, a fridge, a balcony and a spacious bath with a bath. In the closet it had a musty smell, but otherwise everything was completely reasonable

    The food was unfortunately- as you would expect - typically all inclusive. There were always the same however therefor always in quantities and wide choice. It is edible and it tasted also not bad, but anyway not really good. But there were a pizzeria the 24 hours on has and you can great a pizza, hot dogs, burgers or a salad à la carte. And then there were also the à la carte restaurant where you reserve should ( however, you can just for the whole week make) and there, there are then in the change a delicious selection of cuban or chinese food-which also very tasty is. The bars/ drinks are as to be expected, quite simple. The soft drinks are all from a 'gun' and the cocktails' are definitely not the world's best. But there is always everything cooled and the beer tasted :-)

    The service was reasonable. The waiters were really almost everyone is very friendly and helpful. Sometimes missing perhaps the German diligence, but it is and remains just another mentality and there one must perhaps also a minute longer for its drinks wait.

    There was an own disco next to the hotel, where you free entry and all tourists from varadeiro every evening meeting and every evening there was a varied entertainment program. Also during the day there are water volleyball on spanish-learning course to Salsa-course also everything. At the beach free pedal boats, catamaran etc. And in the hotel there are a lot of different tours, against a small extra charge to book. The pool is clean and large (3 piece and a pool bar) and there is enough chairs and umbrellas, both at the beach, as well as by the pool. There are even internet in the hotel ( against an extra charge) what in Cuba a rarity.

    The hotel is directly at the beginning of the city center and only by a street to the beach separately. A few crossings away was a bus station, from which you good and cheap also times other cities can see. You can evenings very good bars and good cuban live band enjoy. ( if one times no desire more on animation)

Strong run-down hotel. Buffet runs are reduced to their most elemental level. Who no high expectations is so clear. Drinks carelessly manufactured. Hotel's own Beach Club is not hotel guests and this is being achieved through staff tolerated. Partially Cuban families not to the hotel belonged at the beach under hotel's own Schirman the impossible were loud. Security staff tolerates this and also addresses on request against a. The transportation situation to and from the hotels from Varadero know the worst. Can unfortunately only about this hotel advise you not to go there. read more

I would not again go! Staff in the buffet restaurant was super! Service is here at the top! However reception and à-la-carte restaurant is a pure catastrophe! Rude, no desire to work and always annoying! The 'italian' restaurant is the most disgusting thing i have ever seen! Fast food and in addition still everywhere bird poo! The pool filthy and run-down, empty glasses and bottles are eternally around! Animation = 0! read more

We have for this hotel for 4 weeks paid little and at home always said for the money it can't be but it was a lot of better than expected. The can but also because of the at our time of travel the hotel not fully booked and almost no tourists were there. The food in the main restaurant was really not bad and we had 4 weeks always good and food not just was, as we did in Varadero in hotels other things experienced. The two additional restaurants (Cuban kitchen and Chinese cuisine) you can really not recommend. In ... 4 weeks only 1 time visited, and too much Effort for nothing. In the pizzeria one can also find good food, but only if a particular person their duty otherwise you have to with long waiting time be prepared. The pool area is simply great there, particularly the pool behind the restaurant is very good for people who peace want. Animation is actually not available music loud volume each and for children the nothing. OK I have to do that not at home I also know what I free time start. Also US the way to the beach didn't mind (with the main street) one always a few people on the way met, food the beach bar was also good and fast. The beach was as always also there great, only loungers were less good, but it was the towel service sharpened. One had no deposit and we had every day fresh towels. Our room 1417 was large and the view great, maids made a great job. There was the air conditioning there great, only the fridge does not deserve the name. What not so great was the evenings were at the lobby bar, Binge drinking by the Canadians, one had for a long time to line up what to get and it was noisy which one its word not understood more. Understand to today not the one not another bar was open. In any case we very felt comfortable there, as mentioned it can be because of it that it quite empty there was. read more

The Palma real is as well as most of the others hotels an all inclusive hotel. It has its best years already behind itself, I thought it was by far not as bad as some other here. Our room was clean and properly equipped. The complex is quite large and everything was spread out a bit 2 pools and the beach. To the hotel's own gorgeous white beach walk about 3 minutes over the whole area spread some restaurants and bars, where you the whole day over ( until 24 o'clock) eating and drinking can. The quality of the food ... leaves however partly very to desire and everything is other as varied. Especially in the buffet restaurant must one partly on 20 minutes on meat wait! Also the cleanliness is in the restaurant not so important, the tablecloths not changed, in other words, the visitors before tidy were Currys, it is to EXP. All together it is for the price reasonable. read more

Since we a Flugzeugpanne had, we were short time for one night to this hotel quartered. Were at 01:30 o'clock ( at night ) in this hotel unloaded. These know first not what they have to do. Got a room, right next to the disco. Hardly the room entering, one could no longer breathe, because it totally was moldy and also otherwise extremely dirty (filthy) was. Slept on chairs on the balcony at least some sleep to get. Our in short never to this hotel again and also never again with FTI travel! read more

The hotel itself is reasonable and in my opinion not so bad as it had been described sometimes. Everything is somewhat older, but not dirty or moldy. Loungers were directly at the start our vacation at the pool as well as at the beach by new replaced. The pool area is large and clean, the swim-up bar was nice. There are souvenir shops and (for those who need it ) around the hour animation. Unfortunately it is a absolute party hotel-imagine a three stars hotel on Ballermann before - exactly it is. 70% party-goers canadians, 20% still feierwütigere south americans ... - and 10% shocked asians and europeans. Around the hour very noisy, partly the people already in the morning around 11 drunk on their room born. read more

    The rooms were okay, everything was there what you brought, only with towels they were very poor. Balcony was big enough, room service was perfect (every day a new figure from the bed sheets shaped and decorated with flowers). Cons: Extremely clairaudient, you can hear every word from the neighbouring room or the hallway-with such a party hotel that is terribly annoying! Further negative was the safe, this was despite all inclusive 20 Euro extra cost!

    Breakfast was not particulary good, however it always had fruit, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, one is thus not verhungert. During dinner was always something for everyone what a tasty. In the snack-bar there was almost around the clock pizza and pasta, at the beach bar sandwiches, fries and burgers. Culinary highlights are on Cuba certainly not, but nobody must verhungern. The cuban restaurant you can save, because there was the same as on the buffet, the asian was very ok. Positively surprised us, that even brands -drinks as Martini all inclusive were.

    The service was for such a party hotel absolutely great and without tip, which we know only on the day of departure and not in the form of cash, but in the form of toiletries (on Cuba as you know, luxury are) have given. The staff in the restaurants, bars and the cleaning staff was extremely friendly and very hard. That you only with tips served is not correct under any circumstances.

    The hotel itself is reasonable and in my opinion not so bad as it had been described sometimes. Everything is somewhat older, but not dirty or moldy. Loungers were directly at the start our vacation at the pool as well as at the beach by new replaced. The pool area is large and clean, the swim-up bar was nice. There are souvenir shops and (for those who need it ) around the hour animation. Unfortunately it is a absolute party hotel-imagine a three stars hotel on Ballermann before - exactly it is. 70% party-goers canadians, 20% still feierwütigere south americans - and 10% shocked asians and europeans. Around the hour very noisy, partly the people already in the morning around 11 drunk on their room born...

    The beach was easy to reach and also really nice, if also not particularly large. Beach bar also available, one gets thus also be here all inclusive package. Towels there is no, definitely bring your own! Apart from that was Varadero terrible for us. From Cuba it has absolutely nothing, 100% touristy. It is only hotels and on mass processing aligned bars. We really liked it on the Ballermann reminds. Fortunately there was also enough offices from local tour operators, where we many excursions (partly also multi-day) on the great island could organise.

The hotel is so slow in need of renovation. The food is took some getting used to, recommendable are the three extra restaurants ( pizza, 'burger', Asia-here before reserve). Drinks there are from 10 to 24 o'clock to several bars, amongst others pool bar and beach bar. The beach is brilliant, however you have about two hundred meters over the street go. A disco is just round the corner, free entrance for hotel guests. Right next to it is a open bar, there was also much on the road instead of, you should have seen times. 3 days despite constant complaints no room service, no towels, as well as toilet paper, no free chairs on the beach or the pathetic condition! We were already 1 day before checkout and then wanted the lady at the front desk our coupon see as we 15 days booked, which we our safe had and they didn't more into the room wanted! Excursions over travel guide are the purest-offs! (please read exactly what included is!) Eating and drinking for Tagesbeschäftigung, long waiting periods! Hotel was totally overcrowded, absolutely no organization! Never again, we had a lot of trouble there, so ... absolutely no relaxing beach vacation! read more

The hotel itself is quite okay. 4 star it definitely not, but enough for normal expectations. Clear, in some places were a bit run down, but we are in Cuba! Large area with two pool landscapes. A for relaxing, rather quiet. The other loud and daily with program (Dance, Cuban music, dancing lessons, volleyball etc.) the guests are to a large extent from Canada and Russia- partly extremely loud and annoying. Evenings there are both in the lobby a small program ( for example locals music Coast, locals band etc.), as well as on the stage at the ... quiet pool. read more

    Size was adequate. Location was great. We had room 1325 with small balcony right next to the pool with view of the sea and sunrise. The only thing, which not at all went, was the closet! Musty and the doors a challenge. The bathroom was OK and clean, also with a view of the shower of the ocean. Whom however the loud annoying, is in the wrong place here. Until 17 o'clock very noisy. Evening silent. Fridge available but dirty. Safety deposit box available. Air conditioning available and also reasonable.

    It is next to the main restaurant three further restaurants. The food in the main building / main restaurant is, except for the breakfast, not enjoyable. We really didn't have high expectations and with little content and for the price no gourmet meal, but the food was really very unappetizing looked and was tasteless! The only thing, what you eat, were the freshly grilled things. You will however long line up, because on the grill was only little grilled. La Piazza was OK-there are too many pizza, Pasta and salads -one can eat. The Chinese restaurant is very to be recommended very delicious! Good taste the burgers and hot dogs in the third restaurant and at the beach. The drinks are against a disasterWater tastes! Sometimes bad, coke tasted partly terrible, sometimes some are drinks not at all available, cocktails only so-so, beer tasted good, Fanta! Everything is OK other terrible!

    Most of the employees are very friendly and helpful. Lots of work really hard. Unfortunately, there were also (on one hand countable) unfriendly and rotten employee. You can in the hotel itself was very good with English and partly Italian forward. Outside the pool many English. Our cleaning lady was very nice and our room was almost always really clean. Beds were made and fresh towels we have also always received.

    At the entertainment pool it was always very loud but nice. Lot mood and entertainment. Volleyball games and dance lessons, Cuban dances and music. At the beach you can only play a game of volleyball, canoeing and catamaran drive. Loungers by the pool sufficient at the beach too few. umbrellas hardly. Beach was very nice. Access to the internet only 30 minutes with a card -5 CUC.

    to the beach it's about about 3 to 5 minutes. At the beach are only very few beach chairs available. With good weather we always had to be there before 7:30 A. M., in order to get a beach chair. The beach chairs had been increased by nearly 70 but uncomfortable beach chairs advanced. The hotel lies very centrally located. A small 'city' has almost directly in front of the door-nice for a walk in the evening. Restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy and shops in the immediate area. Very recommendable, the disco directly next to it. In exchange, you will the hotel located opposite skilled -change for the good rate and with only a passport. But also at the! Hotel's own front desk you can change, there depending on the mood of the staff from, whether you get your money changed or not. The exchange rate is bad.

Here the guest is not the king. At the beach too few beach chairs. Pool area: old, worn, dirty beach chairs and there is trash, none clears. Buffet very monotonous! The theme restaurants there are also a joke and not at all the ideas. Staff only friendly if you left a tip, apart from that one feels himself rather than bad and arrogant looked at. read more

    the breakfast buffet is varied. Both the breakfast, as well as during dinner food freshly prepared. Particularly the fish in the evening is excellent. Selection at the buffet is OK. Furthermore there is a Italian and Chinese restaurant, the during the day snack bars function. Also the beach bar offers a variety of snacks. in each building and even at the beach there is a bar, where you from 10 am wide selection of drinks get. Of course you could with the cocktails, in Havana, comparisons. However they were good. Everywhere in the hotel there is a water dispenser, from which you can use free of charge.
