Great check in and very professional and helpful staff.
Great room with of high quality and new facilities. Big balcony with a view of the garden.
Breakfast buffet huge international and asian selections. Everything your heart desires.
Great cocktails evenings at the bar.
The food in the italian restaurant was great.
By the pool enough chairs and good pool service and nice snacks.
Gym well equipped, however no bottles available!
Shuttle service into the city available (on time book).
Great ... hotel to a couple of days to relax and the area to explore. read more

During our round trip we had 2 nights in the hotel.
The breakfast was unfortunately not as in a star hotel expected. The pool area the we in the afternoon visited is very nice and clean. Also the spa area is recommendable. read more

So we during our round trip only 1 night here had.
Already at the check-in fascinated by the wide view of the countryside. Okay, the way to the room also a hike resembles, you know not. This is also one of the very few points of criticism on Le Meridien in Chiang Rai. The paths are very far, treppauf and treppab, without meaningful signs, and the principle of zimmernummerierung understand you not immediately (the 1st number denotes the building, not as usual the floor!).
If you however to be room managed, it was immediately made up: huge, very comfortable and ... tastefully decorated, the open bathroom (lockable it would have been) beautiful, and the balcony established and possibility to lay down a dream. Depending on location of the room one has any less dreamlike view of the hotel complex, but after sun down outside to lie, a cool drinks and just listening to the ocean is priceless.
With the organized dinner for a group is the service partly. Overburdened (drinks came forever not, desserts were from, cutlery missing ), the food itself but to praise. Incomparably better is the breakfast, an amazing choice with the possibility, outside to sit. If you much luck, also with terrific view of the mountains.
We would have liked to stay longer!
To the excursions: landscape and culturally a lot was offered, i would like to expound on the hall of opium: itself nicely done, but with fotografierverbot. At least if you the historical backgrounds knows, is the erkenntniszugewinn small. And if you nice arrangements not mat photograph must, must decide everyone, whether you want to see. In my opinion could you can save. read more

Le Meridien matched in every respect expectations on a five star hotel. Very pleasant is, a à la carte breakfast offered. It is qualitatively very good, you will friendly served and can the breakfast unhurriedly enjoyment. The hotel offers a special price for the golfing on a the best places in Asia. ( Santiburi) several times daily free transport to the city and the very interesting Mae FAH Luang museum. Good main restaurant, bar and library as well as a direct on the Kok river located Italian restaurant with terrace on the river. The outdoor areas with many pools, ponds ... and ancient, powerful Regenbäumen shone Tranquillity and Understated elegance. In short: a hotel for be comfortable and enjoyment. read more

... This hotel is not in the south of Thailand is, it could have been a favorite hotel of us. Absolutely friendly, the chef Kkch kuoni came out from the kitchen and asked if everything was okay. We had a luxury room the room 80 square meters had, with a separate dressing area and a very large bathroom. The breakfast was great, we went on a trip to Laos to the casino, each REIT everything was organized by the hotel. A disadvantage, it is a bit out of the way and you are in taxi or small train dependent. read more

Le Meridien in Chiang Rai was one of the best hotels on my trip to Thailand! At the check-in we were greeted in a friendly way and asked us if we want a larger room, which we once thought how small the standard room, so we went and asked us' What is then the deluxe room? Just a huge room! The bathroom was open to the room, but can be separated by a sliding door. The two beds were as large as a double bed! The room in general a super design. From the balcony you can see the entire ... area with plenty of water and lots of green! The rooms include, beds, a large desk, a seating area, closets, a huge large bathroom with Wanne4two, as well as Shower and so on
the complex and the pool is very clean and well maintained.
The Breakfast convinced with plenty of choice and very good quality of the food. The only mini drawback was the very nice-meaning proposal from the staff was on the departure day our car ancestors. We gave the key and about 15 came a little later then the car. Otherwise only praise for the Le Meridien! read more

A very nice hotel. Good design, beautiful, peaceful location on the river. However one could notice, that this hotel not consistently enough run. Spots on the glass enclosed the shower the spg wing are not necessary. Also by the pool stray not repaired loungers and not nice nachgestrichenes wood affected the premiumeindruck a little. Admittedly, whine of a high standard - but select one 5 stars. Apart from that but surely one of the most beautiful lemeridiens thailand. read more

We visited this hotel as part of a trip for two nights. After turbulentem Bangkok this was a great oasis of peace and tranquility.
The hotel captivates with its clear-cut design, very good service and kitchen. We can agree with us before the written reports. The breakfast we would like to expressly as'great' call.
You should try, ground floor room to avoid, as by the nice view of dense vegetation the complex and the river is not possible.
Next to the night market is highly recommended trips, not as busy and crowded-although smaller than many others. read more
