The baobab beach resort actually consists of three hotels, the baobab, as well as the Maridadi and the coal coal. All the guests can all facilities without restrictions on use. We were from arrival to departure completely contented. All the staff are friendly and helpful, everywhere always for order and cleanliness one provided. For the all-inclusive holiday makers is possible 3 buffet-style restaurant available. There are several bars, several pools, a fitness studio (not all-inclusive), souvenir shops, 2 bücherecken, a jeweller. Everything your heart desires. While we were there, there were very many germans in the hotel, in the 2. week some Poland in addition.     We had prior to the safari 2 days long a bungalow superior with a view of the sea (although we had booked only standard, but the room on arrival was still not ready and so one has us the upgrade free of charge). In the bungalow it was a little dark and the closet a bit small, however all in all it was okay and the location in the first row to the sea was perfect. The safari we had a great superior room in the Maridadi-area with 2 queen size beds, sitting area, desk, wardrobe with a safe, air conditioning, ceiling fan, refrigerator, huge balcony, large bathroom with huge shower, bidet and toilet and 2 sinks. Only german television program was ZDF, but it was good.

    We found the food delicious and diverse, even kaiserschmarrn or käsespätzle has time, even suckling pig and the like. The gala dinner was even Hummer and oysters.     There are absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff is friendly, they all speak english and some a little german. We have to use of mosquito nets asked, which immediately was taken care of. Also changing money at the front desk is totally uncomplicated, the course in the hotel was excellent and much better, than in the reisebank in Germany. The rooms were cleaned daily, towels on request changed daily. Occasionally we had inheritances of the many monkeys on the balcony, there could have been a little better cleaned, but overall it was ok. Once we the front desk told, that the wifi in the Maridadi-field failed, one for the instruction thanks and immediately measures. Otherwise we had no complaints whatsoever.

    We had our favorite place in the top pool in maridadibereich.     We had always luck with the ferry, and were in each case in 50 to 60 minutes from Mombasa from in the hotel. The beautiful beach directly in front of the hotel we did not often visited, as the beach boys to was annoying. They try their luck at every opportunity, togetherness was as good as never possible. Also were even jellyfish in the water, what with its nettles unpleasant burns on the skin left. So for a beach and sea lovers would probably a vacation in the dom. Republic convenient. We have a nice spot by the pool searched, the was also great. A taxi you get in in the hotel, the price is negotiation, but in the end acceptable. You can also take a coach of the locals before the hotel stop, we did not make however.

We were at the end of february until mid march 2 weeks in baobab beach resort with a break of 4 nights for a wonderful safari with 'lady m safari'. It was a great time in the hotel. The rooms, we had were upgraded room to our booked. This was a deluxe room and very good, also the size the area, the cleanliness and also the bathroom. The food in the Maridadi. -restaurant was good. The beach super close and nice, you could well walk, if you also often been raised, in order to buy anything. On the private beach ..., the on the grounds of the hotel was, could we really relax. There were some palm trees and umbrellas which also provide shade. Here also the seller to go and you could in peace couches and read and to take it easy. read more

The baobab is the best hotel on Diana beach. It is very spacious, as it from 3 hotels. Even if it was fully booked, the quantity not weight. You can always find a free pool chair and it is pleasantly calm. If you want a little more entertainment, the coal, coal pool. Also the most beautiful (we found). The food is really really delicious and there is wide choice. Something for everyone 100%! We had a room in baobab. It was functional and cleaned daily and with fresh towels mistake. The beach is wonderful even if you at low tide ... not swim, so you can lots of animals see, you probably so not to face would receive. And, yes the boys can nerve. We stayed in 2 where. Failed times alone to 2. the beach alone to go. But without them we would never saw so much and avowedly to get. At this point very greetings andennis and Ali Baba. Dennis we have not forget you a package for you is on its way. Of course is a safari a must! Is fantastic beautifully and unforgettably. The only thing which the only negative was, was our tour guide on site, had at all no desire his job seriously, no information, we had even our plane missed. Horror! Was a nightmare. We had a standard -bungalow the baobab and were very satisfied. Big bed, seating area, tv, free safe, shower and a seating area on the terrace. Very well maintained and large area divided into 3 areas: kole kole (including entertainment), baobab (heart and centre the hotel) and Maridadi area (peacefully located, no animation and the latest in area the entire area). We had five months in advance a superior room in maridadi part and 4 months before the trip the received confirmation. The vouchers was then also ' maridadi superior'. The baobab was for the start and the end of our honeymoon our beach hotel. We stayed in the maridadi -wing. Both the complex, as well as the rooms were really nice. Alltogether it was often a little too much action for our taste, as we are not very keen on entertainment is possible. At the pools were regularly water aerobics, water polo and aerobics with loud music and repeated request of the entertainers. The food has not very impressed, it was a wide selection, but a few dishes were really good. Even the evenings with gala dinner it was ... so wide choice, quality was rather poor. In addition the corresponding ambience even if on correct clothes respected, eat most people at buffets as if there was no tomorrow would be. You can the hotel but certainly not accuse. Our massage in the spa was expensive and bad, the masseurs have during the massage maintained, so that one always the feeling had, it is on a was spoken. The friendliness respectively the service of the staff was, overall very mixed: from very friendly and helpful to ignorant and absolutely rude. Some staff tried very hard, other (for example service at the pool bars) a treated, as if the plague would be. After our intermediate safari trip to the Karen blixen camp, these impressions of course a bit more. read more

Conclusion an all-round successful vacation in a really great hotel. + very good service, everything was clean and very friendly staff/ defects were extremely quickly, even if sometimes not fully resolved + very good check-in and check-out The beach boys are just unpleasant, if you considered \u263a we booked our safari through them and everything worked great! ( to achieve this, you know, there are a total of 120 men at the beach, which however for 4 companies work. Our positive experience that we had with suleman and Banana Joe made. Gladly greetings from Patrick & Sarah) - no atm ... on or in the hotel - food and drinks somewhat limited. Vegetables very good, meat only moderately and not diverse, breakfast rather boringly, cocktails a catastrophe and a lack of choice (only 5 pieces). - although it is very many employees, but their pollopollo (slowly, slow) attitude entails, a german waiter faster than 3 kenyans - no real drawback, but only ZDF in the room - this hotel, according to holiday check as 99 best hotels in the world, this is in our opinion not to. - no bathtub - very bad service Renate from meiers weltreisen General tip: kreditkartenprobleme vending machines, not on the maps leaving. I am already the 6. time in the hotel descended. Everything was perfect. Unfortunately in december, the quality and variety of the meal, significantly deteriorated. Also i recommend from, the, in the hotel the jeweler you to buy something. Had in march a trailer from silver with strass bought. Some stones fell out and the owner, wanted after about 8 months money for the repair. There is no guarantee. read more

Wonderful for a relaxing beach holiday. White and further beach, attractive grounds, professional evening shows. The handling of the many beach vendors, the with the tourists want to do business is something, which you have to address. Unpleasant it is, if you from the hotel arranged tours (snorkeling tour, bike tour) unexpected pressure to buy-overpriced-souvenirs suffer. Recommendable is the bike tour. It gives a good impression of life of the 'normal' kenyan. Overall we felt comfortable, relaxed and turn with interesting impressions back. read more

The hotel complex is by the merger of 3 hotel facilities very spacious and very nice. The food excellent. The staff mostly friendly, except at the pool bar on ' maridadi'. The annoyances at the beach by locals salesman still very extreme. We were 2011 already in the baobab and noticed already on arrival, that something in the service and friendliness has changed. We were given a bikini from the room stolen. After message at the front desk the bikini in the evening - without comments - in an envelope returned. Then were again and again towels forget. As the ... tips then lack, we were from the room staff addressed 'if we are not satisfied is'. read more

Very nice resort with three hotels. We had booked a standard room at the baobab, this but we did not like and wanted a different rooms have. In the hotel they told us that all rooms are booked. We went for a upgrade and got a superior room. It was perfect large and beautifully designed. Please but in Germany just book than upgrade on site much more expensive. Home costs 16 €more per person, suburb demand equal 20 €per person. Nevertheless everything was great, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Guests at the baobab about 70% german a few italian ... and Poland, in kole kole outweighs rather the italian part, but all super nice. We had all-inclusive, the food was always fresh, varied and delicious. Very good service always Mary and Mary j the very speaks german well. Wifi is there very expensive, i have 2 weeks without the modern stuff and survived! Because i actually always there. But it goes also without ☺ read more

    As mentioned above, the standard room the quality was terrible, was directly on of the lobby at the entrance where constantly the buses arrived. Way too loud, too warm (air conditioning is not really) and rooms are worn. We booked through Jahn Reisen and also the travel guide on the shortcomings informed. Madam Renate karow has very good for suburb used, however, the manager was not cooperative, so that we at home now Jahn Reisen matters. But it didn't matter that becomes already, let us the vacation but hard to mess up! :-) Therefore please book superior, or deluxe then 5-6 stars inside. We then had superior, with tea or coffee, large living room with separate bathroom and toilet, a beautiful massive bed from wood with a view on the pool direct on the sea. Was in the kole kole hotel room 704 on the ground floor.

    Directly at the beach, in 3 km away reaches one a supermarket, however in the evening alone not recommendable! Security! At the beach you need a thick skin, as it many locals there, the things wish to sell, since it is their lebensqulle is. I can recommend the safariverkäufer Jimmy from Jimmy safari ukunda and matheo, where we have a 4 day safari and of 150 €saved per person as if we in the hotel would have booked. Matheo spoke also super german.

We have due to the many positive reviews for baobab beach resort and weren't dissapointed. No matter wether gardener, pool boy, waiter or receptionist - of all a warm jambo, jambo and if more than varied buffet nothing to eat, then i do not know, what the at home royals. The rooms were always perfectly cleaned and were big enough, although we 'only' a standard room had. Who no animation loves, is on maridadi -pool in good hands. Noisy there at kole kole -pool and three, four times at the baobab -pool animation offered. Apart from that the hotel is ... large enough, that one never the feeling has, it would be too crowded. Annoying were only the monkeys, which unfortunately again and again of guests fed, although strictly forbidden. Some simply cannot read! The hotel we can without exception recommend it and would in any case spend another vacation there. If you definitely not wants, must one not from the hotel move, souvenirs shopping or excursions to book. The prices are not much higher than 'outside'. But it would harm, if you don't other as the hotel complex meet. Kenya has so much beautiful to offer! We have over ita safari from Germany from a three day long safari in the tsvavo -east and ambosseli national park and were allowed unforgettable days experience! The beach boys are though sometimes annoying, but if you told them, that you don't want to buy anything, you can also in peace. The guests in baobab came to about 80% from the german-speaking area, in kole kole were mostly italians and maridadi the english. A few were also some guests from the eastern european area, which one unfortunately immediately been recognized has, as you at the buffet behaved (plate brimming, queue jumping and some also very unfriendly to the employees!) But the thank god only exceptions! The people there a joy to make wants, given away old clothes. We have there our t-shirt and flip-flops wasted and the rest of the shower gel, shampoo and so on the people are endlessly happy. Take especially also pens with. And candies for children. The most employees speak really good german. The hotel is very well organized. If you for example early in the morning to a trip are, you have in any case the possibility, already for breakfast. One must only on the day before in the list, which at the front desk is laid out, sign in.
