'friendly' middle class hotel

The silencium is a very clean middle class hotel with comfortably equipped rooms and comfortable beds. Altogether have the rooms however little charm ( in case so something worthy), but there are cozy bathrobes and a mini bar. Check in and check out spot very fast and friendly. The breakfast is delicious and of a very good quality: fresh breads (!), rolls and croissants, fruit, eggs, etc. Everything you need, with very nice service! Unfortunately the hotel has no own restaurant, you but I at the front desk a very good recommendation ( about 10 minutes on foot) given. Even ... if at the hotel large 'silencium' is, has unfortunately not every guest and this invitation held. Since every noise in the hallway to to bed good has, I thought the room a bit noisy, As I me only one night in the hotel stayed, I can the other spaces not judge. We had the hotel with breakfast booked. Internet costs extra 5.50 on the day, unless you have a Treaty the Telekom with their hot spots, then you can go to the conditions this Treaty surfing. the front desk was at any time manned and helped also a rain with a umbrella from. read more

    our room was quite small. But it was quiet and we had a riesenbad. the TV was quite small, but the bothered us not, we were not to Cologne come. the room was clean. additional there was a minibar and a telephone, which we both not used have.

    the breakfast was great. There were different bread rolls, different sorts of bread, croissant, cakes, jams, cheese, sausage, Salmon, fresh fruit, muesli, orange juice, Quark. Everything was everything the heart desired. Of course there was also coffee and tea and if something was, you could at any time afterwards questions.

    A tram line to Cologne (briick-is?) is not forever far away. Apart from that is the hotel not far away from the highway directly at a large street, but a piece from the street back convenient. there is sufficient parking spaces.

The rooms in the renovated part are good and pleasantly decorated. In the old part, you feel however less in good hands. The staff is very friendly and obliging. read more

Familiar very good hotel, with very friendly staff, the all personal needs. Nice room with comfortable bed and, most of all, a very clean bathroom. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots to choose from and especially a lot of fruit and vegetables. The tables were very clean and nicely set. The hotel deserves its four star rating!!! read more

Very good, small, family hotel. Nice atmosphere, spacious rooms and good staff. Breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choice and plenty of food available. Everything was very clean and was as it should be. In short: a very good hotel fully deserves its four stars. read more
