We were due to the short flight time ( child with 1 year) of 2.55 hours now the second time in Rhodos. The island with its gravel or sand is actually very beautiful but we were shocked that the greeks probably not any more desire on tourists. Because the beaches were was empty, but many were so of rubbish strewn that you no longer wants to be. Everything looks leave and run down, most of the shops are bankrupt and the ruins remain is possible. You would think in the crisis, the greeks but your probably only source of ... income, the tourist, and the island in good repair. But you, one of better informeth. There still beautiful beaches and booked on the island. But the general impression was rather bad. For us it was the last time in Greece! To the hotel there are to only say, that it is very big and in all areas very good. It was frequently excellent. And the many good reviews also speak for this hotel. I know that I very much to the island and little to the hotel write, but I think that also about the rest the island information about you, therefore the summary above. This was our third time and felt still very well cared for. It was the last week of this year's season, so not more lots of guests at the large facilities were. The bus service to Rodes city drove only stüdlich, but the taxi for 2, -€ cheaper (from 10 to 8 €). We enjoyed it very much. We would like to highlight really the cleanliness in the hotel. All sanitary installations were extremely clean and tidy. The room was huge, even with dvd and players, the didn't work, but immediately replaced. Very beautifully is also the big balcony with drying rack! The main restaurant we liked very good overall. Unfortunately the male waiter often very hectic and seemed annoyed. The waitresses but more than made up for it-they were always very relaxed and relaxed. The hotel is in a nice location over the bay of kallithea. The complex consists of smaller houses in which the rooms are accommodated. From the restaurant you had a great overall view to Rodes city and Faliraki. stavvros and his team with very good, varied food and great service worn out. The beach bar is also recommendable. Although the season ended were the staff super motivated and in a good mood. To be kept a Eleni ( guest relations manager) friendly and competent further. We also found the shuttle bus-bus with arrival/departure, as well as to the beach good ..., as the complex is very extensive. Great great autumn holiday despite changeable weather. The employees were all very pleasant ( in the beach bar was the blond operation rather musty) and tried very hard. Have fun we had at the bar from the restaurant Athena, especially with the nice barkeeper and the great people, we spent. We were always in the restaurant Athena eat, there was ample selection, the food was always very tasty, drinks were brought to the table. At the beach bar you could get ice-cooled drinks and with at the beach take. The loungers costs for 2 people 5 €, now in October ... was also always enough capacity at the beach. The hotel complex is well maintained and we really liked. The location in the rocky shoreline, as well as the beach is just lovely.
