Sorry boral, yes you're at the end of the world, yes, in the middle of the orinoco delta and it is certainly not easy, but this camp here was just the worst ever. Location- great, food - really reasonable, the operator certainly hard, but the cleanliness under all. Was not done! The bathroom was yuck, dirty, broken -broken toilet seat. Our ceiling so low, the my husband had to turn the lights, the fan not head shaved. ( okay, he is 1.92 meters, but is so huge that) but that worst were the beds. Our bed sheets were just ... dirty, for sleeping we moved t-shirts from my husband on the pillows, because everywhere bird poo was. Simply, simply, we have no problems, but dirty must not be. ( i am for sure not fussy, have times a year long in south -India in a tiny village (also at the end of the world) simple lived-but clean can you ask! Dugout drive, piranhias fishing, mosquitoes, puri-puri-fly - everything great, cleanliness smooth 6 minus! I'm really sorry, you isn't recommendable!
Great! That needs to be experienced! Is simply a part of it! archiviert

That was great. Such a camp is an absolute must, if one makes a tour. The 'roommates 'in the absolutely simple rooms, shower with' cold ' river water, simple food-that should be made clear before, before such a tour Bay (Venezuela experience of nature). You are in the middle of the rainforest. But we drove there but now! Boating in the rainforest, fishing after the Piranhas, with luck Caymans views, Süßwasserdelphine, monkeys and sound setting! In the evening in the pitch dark with the boat, flashlights, in the pouring rain with thunder and lightning the river traffic-out of this world ..., you have to experience. In the camp the cabin with all ' expeditionary-participants 'with cub libre-great place to spend your evening! We can only say, if you are looking for an exciting trip, also Boral camp one or two nights (they all survived). Icing on the cake: we were five days in different camps on the round trip, you can tell, as 'delicate ' you already! So, go there and experience! Note! The whole review points for the camp (cleanliness, dining, leisure, pool I rated all with rather good, because you can't rate!
Basic accommodation but what would you expect? archiviert

Stayed one night at the Boral during a trip from Margarita to Angel Falls. Yes, it is basic but one can hardly expect five star accommodation in the jungle! I found that the simplicity of the place added to the experience although the humidity caused a problem whislt sleeping. The food was OK but they quickly ran out of beers and wine so get your order in before dinner! The rooms were clean and bug free although a monkey did find its way into the roof cavity and made a hell of a din. I found it very funny but ... my partner was terrified! Overall, we were treated very well by the staff and the location of Boral made it perfect for what turned out to be one of the most memorable trips of my life. Don't be put off by what you might read - trust me, there are considerably worse places to stay along the Orinoco; some of the accommodation does not even supply rooms, just hammocks and mosquito nets - just accept that where you are and what you are doing does not warrant all mod cons. Should I return to the area, I would stay at Boral again
