As roundtrip hotel in the nature park of the rincon de la vieja in northern Costa Rica, about 1 hour's drive from Nicaragua away.
The simple rooms offer nothing, the furniture has gotten old, air conditioning not available, only a fan.
In the room very many biting insects-is atomized no antidote. Also Stechinsekten by the pool.
Bathroom very small with small toilet. Garden appealing, pool neglected. Horse Riding possibility with many horses.
Nice view in scenic surroundings. Restaurant with a very great buffet ( fish delicious) inclusive soft drinks. read more

We stayed during our round trip two nights stayed in this hotel. It is many miles outside. There is no other opportunity without a car to get anywhere. Totally overpriced food. 12 dollars per person for rice with some meat. During the day come lots of buses and the offered activities ( Canopy, water slide and thermal springs). This are very good organized. The front desk is not helpful, opposite complaints ( we missed a extra bed). No concession for signature for tour operator. The rooms are very shabby and our Reiselieter forewarned animals under the bed. We had a ... mosquito net with. Very hot stuffy air, since only ceiling fan available. read more

The Buena Vista lodge is an extensive complex with lots of old Trees, nice laid out for and
Ponds. In this complex are embedded the wooden bungalows, quaint and nice. Anyway, we liked it
Very good. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom not very big, but sufficient. And, contrary to forecasts in travel guide, you could even the hair dryer used. At the top of the hill is a sun -
untergangsaussichtspunkt with bar. Very nice, sit and watch, as the sun sinks, very romantic.
The food was also okay.
During our round trip spent we have 2 nights.
On ... the second day we rode with the complex belonging Horses on tracks (on floor and rock) to ' spa -complex' of the hotel. There are 5 (?) pools with temperatures between 27° and 40°. Also you can take a mud bath, that allegedly 20 years younger to do-) read more

Lodge with massive grounds appurtenant to the lodge, you can ride a horse, accompanied tours through the jungle make, with the Träcker drive, water slides by the jungle, bathing in the springs. On the grounds you can lots of animals watch. The furnishings the room is very simple rustic. The food was delicious. read more

In this lodge is good 1-2 days remain, then you but also everything saw. We have a hike to the falls, and a spa wellness bathroom companies. This can only be recommended- however exerting, the hike spread over 3-4 hours read more
