Very ageing resort. Of of the bungalow until for breakfast or to the ski slope was 100 steps and several meters uphill. That is with small children and ski clothes rather schwiering. Wait to table for breakfast to get also makes no fun. Pool was freezing. Parking difficult, since too few squares and again above at the hotel and not in front of the house. In 2 weeks no cleaning included, towels could one for yourself. Staff sometimes overstrained, many casual workers, bad organization in the restaurant. Guy pet the dogs, before it-without the hands-beer tap or food dish. Overall ... we could for the price expected more. Wanted to leave early, but 95% have to pay. Gladly again Winterberg, but not as! read more

The hotel we have over a weekend booked. We wanted in neuastenberg to snowborden and came fully at our expense. The elevator is directly in front of dwm hotel and the slopes are just 2 minutes on foot. Only the big room (about 50 meters² ) could have been a bit cleaner. In the bathroom found still hair from the previous guests and the electronic installations may once again modernised. If you are in the group a good hotel search around something winter sports to do with this hotel good advice. read more

The internal car-parking spaces are for pools and minis, clios etc. Huge. For middle class car and Bigger a real challenge with extremely lots of patience. No elevator in the home. Lots of stairs to the property. The carpet in the corridor torn. Rust and damages to the paintwork on außengeländer. Welcome cocktail - according to Information sheet- only on persistent requests received. Had to avoid on the zimmereinlaß almost 20 minutes to wait, Although already after 15:00 o'clock. Us cup coffee for the wait was offered. In the 5 days we had almost 70% always the same offer ... (breakfast, dinner). 1 time there 3-course menu. To the Evening. It had almost all the guests complained. Then from the program taken. We only had the fun with this meal. The new guests probably not more. In the dorfschänke restaurant, (things in the home) 1 time to eat. Thanks? The food was salty. I didn't need pay. The silvesterfest-with a 2 man -band ( little hausmusikqualität ) was boring. For about 1500,00 Euro -three thousand -german Mark- and only 5 days in a star hotel you can have something else expect. We are disappointed and served by Dorint. Thanks for everything. read more

    The size and furnishing of the rooms was adequate. The kitchinette was miti all the amenities. Coffee maker, kettle, fridge and so on there was no minibar. The bathroom is large enough and clean. Only unfortunately there was no ventilation.

    The breakfast is varied and there is something for everyone. The coffee you had to wait very long. We were finished with the breakfast as came after repeated demand our coffee. That was not very pleasing. Evenings there was a buffet. Looked very good, but then we had noted, the majority of the dishes not frísch be prepared. The vegetables and the stuffed kartoffeltaschen from the freezer. The desserts all from the packing of mousse to pudding that was a real pity. The cleanliness you can only positive things to say. The prices in the restaurants are human.

    The hotel has a very good location. 2 minutes on foot to the slopes, as well as restaurants and pistenbars. Public transportation are comfortable not really recommendable since the bus only all 2-3 hours goes. Circa 12 € with the taxi until Winterberg.

We had a silvesterball and are on a faschingsball with diskoparty landed. The spacious rooms have an old-fashioned charm with schummriger lighting. Room service there was only from the 2. day, first day none. With the sat nav you find this hotel not, as the specified address apparently not at all exists. Still another word to the silvesterball: If the menu of a type is served, a wig with lush mane, black sweat shirt of a sweat suit with adidasstreifen, quirky teashirt and old jeans carries, then ridicules these any description and is for a Dorint Hotel only a shame. ... This deserves not yet times a star. read more

Also we stayed in this hotel for new year's. Here i must briefly to the previous evaluation deal. We were for sure not very pleased with everything, but there was a motto, in other words '80. years party '. This was the guests also before arrival by e-mail communicated. If you over waiters (restaurant manager hr. Seal, which in our opinion here the most expertise and friendly) with wig and torn jeans complained, one has here in my opinion what is not understood. We found it rather odd, that the director of the hotel undisguised-if, because already. Maybe it was ... the motto some guests before, for whatever reason, not known. The clothes was definitely very different, from solid to complete 80. style everything was there. So, now to the hotel. The first impression is good. From the street runs through an archway to the hotel. Directly left in front of the hotel are the garages. There are rooms and houses. We had a hotel room. Very inconvenient is the way of handling luggage. Our room was on the top floor. There was no elevator. With all the luggage the way to the room with various steps was already a bit cumbersome. read more

    We had a room on the top floor. This is always our request. But very lots of stairs and no elevator. The view is nice (if you except fog times what looks). The room was big enough. Also with extra bed for our daughter you could comfortably in the room move. The mattresses are but as hard as a rock. The bathroom is small. A sink, bathtub (with separation wall for the shower) and toilet. However, if someone to toilet is, one should leave the door lock, because otherwise you risk of knietrümmerbruchs runs, if someone the door opens. The cleaning of the rooms was always good. The furnishing is - as one says so beautifully 'simply, but appropriately'.

    We have our food in the main restaurant restaurant. You get an allocated table for the time assigned. We had the luck in the back room to eat (probably because of number of persons). What a luck. This was something separated from the remaining room and accordingly quiet. In the restaurant there was in other words the atmosphere and volume of a station concourse. The food was good. On some evenings there was a buffet at other menu. At the quality of the dishes there was nothing to moan about. The restaurant manager hr. Siegel has tried all wishes in terms of seats to fulfill. The servers (Katharina and Alexander) were very accommodating. If menu was, was for children an extra buffet set up. Liked a lot the dorfschänke restaurant,. This is located under the main restaurant. Here you can also food (pizza, fries, etc.). We have here however only flüssignahrung to us. The atmosphere is relaxed and the audience mixed. Because of the promptly ended dinner (as mentioned at 19:45 o'clock was conclusion) we have here the evenings unwind.

    Here is in my opinion clear steigerungsbedarf given. On arrival no welcome drink enough. It was an absolute mass processing, although while we were there arrival hardly more guests arrived. There were no statements to the hotel, but we got a note into your hand pressed, which we all read should. A friendly family could your room only at 17:00 o'clock relate. Furthermore, we choose, to which meal time we for dinner would be-either 17:45 or 7:45 p. m.. I have to say, that there are two meal times, i have not known. I can not at all suffering - a reason for us no Riu-hotel. One is completely inflexible, and here one was really at 19:45 o'clock rudely dismissed. The staff the front desk made altogether a clearly overworked and incompetent impression. No ask could be answered-it was on the flyer next to the reception out. Extremely negative was also the so-called children's entertainment. Ridiculous! The 'kid' is remotest part the hotel. It was advertised, that the adults in peace can eat and the children in this period busy. Those i would like to see, the child before the food to the childrens house and then pick you up-the meal times is in fact already rum. That was then probably noticed and the service in this period in one of the upper rooms shifted. There was just tables and chairs and neon lighting. You can perhaps even 3-year-olds employ, but then hörts already on. On new year's eve with a of kindersilvesterparty advertised... (also for guests with half board 9 Euro in addition). This also found in the 'lovingly designed' space. Also tables and chairs, a little music - that was it. I have no child above seen, everybody was down with the adults. The supervisors absolutely unmotivated. Positive i would like to highlight here mr p. (after difficulties at the start), Katharina and Alexander (operations with the food) and Florian (dorfschänke restaurant,). However the staff also in continuous service. In the morning, afternoons and evenings always the same processed. Even after new year's eve were the staff mornings already again for deployment.

    For us was the location excellent. The hotel is only a few steps from the ski slopes. At the slope is an après ski tent. Despite few snow we had lots of fun. There are also some pubs and restaurants in the immediate area. Ski rental and ski schools in the immediate vicinity.

Beautifully located hotel in the middle of the winter sports region with huge room (separate bedroom, small kitchen and living room). Unfortunately is the spa area for a 4 star hotel very small, but clean. But are the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is very good. read more

We had a business meeting with 9 people for 5 days with meeting room, team dinner and team activities which was all booked through and in the hotel. Everything worked out just great. The staff of the hotel was very kind, efficient, helpful and always very friendly. We had to move outside of Duesseldorf as a big exhibition made hotel rooms too expensive but now that we experienced the Dorint in Winterberg, we will go there for outside business meetings more often as we felt very welcome there. read more

    Robust, pleasant large room with a balcony and fantastic view of the herbstwald. There is a small, well-equipped kitchenette and a seating area. A bed with lots of pillows and comfy mattresses, and a flat screen tv. Bathroom ok, bath products from sans soucis and hair dryer.

    There was the main restaurant with also the breakfast is served, as well as the dorfschänke restaurant,. Breakfast : everything there that you need, good bread- and roll choice, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, small sausage, röstis, good cold meats and cheeses, olives, sour cucumbers, fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, fruit salad, various dairy products and juices, mineral water, pastries and cereal. Many teas, and premium coffee options like lattes. Dorfschänke restaurant, with a nice map, something for everyone, very good time but also burgers and pizza. Nothing special but generally delicious.

    Pool and spa area available... But definitely the deficiency of the hotel. Here should be invested, this is not a 4 star standard more. Pool by the size okay, sanitation in quite good shape but apart from that everything is very, very dated. A sauna and a steam bath and relaxation rooms the rather to run away and also quite cold. We were to rest on our room. Bathrobes were in prior in the room, sauna towels with pocket at the front desk. Traipse there was no... I think however also not bad.

    The food on the first evening was awful. The Schnitzel was greasy and almost raw, the fries luke warm and the hamburg not enjoyable. On 2. evening there was a geplündertes salad buffet, not even refilled. Otherwise reheated, rock hard pork with cold fries, but after complaint freshly prepared was, however salty. The rest of the familienessens was also everything else, as good. The breakfast buffet was ok, however nothing special imaginative.

    Very idyllic location directly on the mountain slope with a view of the forest. Parking spaces are also ideal, is the parking garage or on the road. One must only a few meters walking. To Winterberg you have to a piece of go.

That is not a four star hotel! The rooms are old and didn't match the four-star standard. The wellness area is poorly equipped. For the use of the wellness area the bath towels and bathrobes at the front desk can be rented. The flip-flops are the guests rather bring your own. ( in the room not available). The changing rooms very old and the closets partially not functional. In short: this hotel is rather for the winter holiday suitable, where the room only for sleeping is needed and you are tired after a ski that the deficit of the room ... are not noticed. For the short break is this hotel in my opinion absolutely not suitable. read more

We really enjoyed it - gladly again. What has disturbed us (maybe it was our house longer not occupied!) the carpet needs to urgently cleaned (partly. Large stains). In the house lack of broom, dustpan and brush-for fast times in between ( in stay with children). Balcony was not so well maintained; much foliage and cobwebs and the floor was partly. Strong vermoost. Also may the houses once again a coat of paint. Really that bothered us through the imported parking from 6€ per day. We come since many years to the Dorint, this is really not OK. At the ... time but could outside of the complex without fees will be parked. Machines were not in use. Is very recommendable the Chinese ' realm of the middle' at the start from Winterberg. read more

The service and the reception were very good. Very nice employees, on complaints positively responded. However the hotel appears to be easy run down. Furthermore was the food in the restaurant prince Richard none if dorints worthy! We will every time gladly again!... But never more half board, the food is worthwhile not! read more

Beautifully located hotel. Only 5 minute drive from the summer toboggan run, bike-park, miniature golf etc. Sauna and swimming pools available. The food was really great-everything was freshly prepared. Breakfast buffet with everything you need. We were in the main hotel 1 accommodated. Very short walk to all the amenities. If you want a detached house bay should consider, that he long distances must be, and the altitude (quite steep) into account. Parking garage available (€6, -/ day). You will find but also outside enough capacity. Great Indoorkartbahn directly next to it just 50 meters from the hotel - reserve ... recommendable nonetheless! read more

I was as a part of a business trips here under brought. The furniture my room were already worn, the carpet old. My bed sheets had holes. A typical winter sports hotel. The location is nice, the complex has however at best three stars deserves. read more
