The Ibis brisbane is located in the middle in the center of the town, only few minutes on foot from the pedestrian way. My room with a king size bed was large enough for me alone, to 2. what but probably something else %blank%. The bathroom was not huge, for a stay in a city it was sufficient however perfectly. Instead of a minibar there was a fridge in the room, the you could easily fill, which anyway is cheaper. Water in half liter bottles was available. The room was very clean and daily well cleaned. The staff at reception ... were very friendly and were willing to help. I wanted to pay wi-fi or broadband internet use, however they could not connect with my netbook. The staff at reception could the error not resolve, me however therefor free unlimited access to its secure wireless internet made available. And, whether i in the lobby or in the room the netbook sat for me no role to play. Basically, i think, are the costs in many hotels for the internet pushing it. I can but to Ibis no statement, since i didn't even except for the side with the cost. Private parking the hotel has only for loading and unloading, otherwise a parking garage right next door can be used. The biggest advantage is safe the location, a red-cat bus (free) stop nearby and the pedestrian area is in a couple of minutes easy to reach on foot. Restaurants and bars it has nearby also enough. I would definitely again there again. read more

Very good location in brisbane. In about half an hour you are on foot in the botanical garden or in the south bank with the great lagoon (free!). Also for shopping you need around 20 minutes away on foot. To the next station around 10 minutes away on foot. The room was nice and big and modern. Everything was really clean. Check in and check out went very quickly. Railway ticket for the flughafenexpress you can at the front desk buy. The staff at reception were always very helpful and friendly. Parking spaces are at the hotel available, however subject ... to a charge. read more

Good hotel with good value for money. Typical Ibis stop.
Hotel has a very good location to the city center. Shoppingstrasse, casino, southbank (park with lagoon and view of the skyline), botanical garden in the immediate area.
Hotel room was wasn't quite soundproofed. Is from the cheap pappwänden.
The breakfast was completely reasonable Continental Breakfast.
Apart from that really recommendable! read more

A beautiful city hotel in the middle of the center from brisbane. The sandy beach is more than reachable on foot, as the mall and all sights. The city cat runs right around the corner and the restaurants in the city are simply superb.
The train station is on foot reachable in a few minutes, from where the whole area explore can. Brisbane is a city with flair and the hotel is wonderful as place to spend the night for a city trip. The rooms are well equipped and a good size. It was the best hotel our entire round ... trip. read more

If you for a stopover or a city break a centrally located hotel with good price-performance-money, meets with the Ibis hotel is a good choice. Rooms are large with an attractive decor, clean, our room with a partial view of the Brisbane-river (beautiful at night due to the lighting). Everything nearby, short ways, parking garage around the corner. If you like we were in a room on the upper floors (you can specify at the time of booking), you couldn't hear any traffic noise. Conclusion-we had made the right choice, and wonderful days in Brisbane, at the next time. read more

Centrally located hotel in the immediate proximity of the river or the city center. The hotel has three stars, so you should not expect more 'simple' rooms as hallways and functional rooms (and our was very large, the bathroom, don't know if that is at all). The dinner was very good, however, there is nothing to complain about. Breakfast we had none. Is the price, I would stay in Brisbane for The Mercure recommended (which is right next door and there is even an underground access), since the time a higher category is. read more

The hotel is located close to the Brisbane river and very nearby to Queen street Mall, where you can shop. We had a very large room on the top floor (16. Floor) with a balcony and view to the river. The elevator runs but only up to 15. Floor, in the 16. Floor you have to walk over some stairs. The hotel also has a restaurant/bistro, the 7 days, open 24 hours. We found it though comfortable and we liked the food, however it was very noisy, if all the tables fully occupied. Other restaurants, telephone boxes, internet cafe and ... so on are within walking distance. You can also use the two computers in the Internet corner from the hotel. The costs for 1 AUD ten minutes. Guest parking is available in the neighboring Mercure hotel for 25 AUD per day/night. read more

Reasonably Central city hotel of the city and all its attractions within walking distance.
The room was a good size and in clean condition, we felt very comfortable.
Overall the hotel made a neat impression, the staff at the check in was very friendly.
It should be mentioned, that the hotel had no own parking spaces available.
There is a possibility, expensive in the Wilson parking garages to park (like the staff proposed!), or you can ask at check-in right after the cheaper option, in other words in the garage of the sister hotel (around the corner) Mercure, to go ... back.
The hotel's restaurant we didn't used, since the food also cheaper options outside of the hotel. read more

The Ibis is a good mittelklassenhotel and is centrally located to all sights on either side of the river. You can from this vantage point on the George street without problems joging late in the evening also, without being bothered. Our room was bright and sunny, with kettle, but don't have microwave. A tip: within walking distance to the lower level of a middle mall food-after 17 o'clock at half price. A two hour lines-shipping for the price of three dollars a day ticket for only one should not be missed. The standard of cleanliness of the restaurant was satisfactory. ... on the service provided by the front desk I can say nothing, because we didn't use it. (only check-in and check-out) read more

All in all, we were very pleased with the hotel Ibis. The room was large and functional, provided some sobriety. The staff was very friendly, but no language knowledge, you never expect in Australia. Make sure to speak English. The rooms have views of the surrounding building. However, the hotel is very close to the Brisbane rivers. The connections with public transport are excellent. The center is about a 5-10 minute walk. read more
