The hotel description is more a and the excitement is large.
Our assigned room was a dump, in which you still fast a sofa for the child pushed in had. Of course there was no light for reading, no balcony and no light in the room. Completely cramped and at best 1 star for the bathroom.
To solid complaint we could than on the next day in the late afternoon are. read more

The hotel missing clearly a good management. We had a mini suite. Poor cleaning. The cheminée blew through the wind again and again Ash into the room, although in the summer safe rarely used. By cleaning staff also not away sucked. Restaurant terrace was in the morning 10 hours not from waste the leftovers from cleaned. Bad organization in the evening-and breakfast > each long queue with the login desk. No safety deposit box, no fridge on huge balcony ( about 5 times 12 meters) only 2 plastic chairs and table. And so on Positive> sparkling wine for birthday receive! ... Location and nature very nice, so read more

The lodge is remote, approximately 20 kilometers from the next place. So you need to either something to eat or bring there in the hotel food. The food is very expensive there, but of good quality. For the dinner with soup& main course ( pasta with mushrooms) we CAD 50:00 per person paid. For breakfast you pay about CAD 25:00 per person, where you can get a super buffet with a large selection get what you pay. You can simply fantastic relax. The lake is one about 10 minutes stairs down and then if the weather is nice ... swimming, canoeing and paddle. Is really a quiet place a relaxing day to. The hotel offers also a spa, with the rather small indoor swimming pool free to use and you special treatments at a charge could book. I would this hotel in any case recommend. read more

A very well-kept Hotellodge in Canadian style from wood construction) embedded in magnificent forests directly above the Lac Sacacomie. The rooms are very clean, spacious and functional. No safe, no mini bar No cell phone reception! The front desk and the staff generally are very, very friendly and speak (apart from can sometimes be a little difficult clear quebecois French) all speak English. The tourists were international (all age groups, also with children). By the French-speaking guests many visitors from France and Switzerland, but also with the locals, German and North American guests, the hotel is very popular. The overall ... impression of the scenery is spectacular, also as it is so good in the Panorama atmospheric and no inconvenience constitutes the panoramic view. A great hotel for nature lovers to unwind and relax. The program offered is varied and I would definitely go back again. My conclusion: beautiful and definitely recommended!! read more

We had a dark room in the basement stairs attainable only through close with view on an unkempt slope, to plastic, no amenities in the room (no TV, no safe, no mini bar...).
We were also affected by the strike.
Luggage service was it only after asking and 45 minutes three times.
The benefits in the restaurant were despite strikes commendable.
The location of the hotel is Absolutely spectacular, the obvious Mauricie Parc National de la a worthy destination. read more

The hotel is in a great location, stairs lead down the beautiful lake with a small sandy beach, beach chairs, beach towels and canoes for free. The offered excursions were very expensive. The food was great, but expensive too. Unfortunately, we had a dark room view of wild bushes and right next to the laundry (I'm sure there is nicer rooms). Maybe you good luck! read more

We had a room with a lake view at the end of a tour. In this hotel should definitely treat yourself. It is gorgeous nice to sit on the balcony, on the lake to look out later to watch the sunset. The hotel is situated on its own in the middle of a forest and provides a great atmosphere and tranquility. It is offered must come up with a lot of (e.g. B. Horse riding, canoeing or day trips). As we were only there for 1 night were there, we didn't use either of these. The hotel also has ... a small sandy beach, which has Plankenweg. At our travel time (end of May) were however unbeliavably many midges who made a stay on the beach almost impossible. The hotel itself has a quaint atmosphere - everywhere in the fireplace and an attractive fireplace wood fire. A restaurant and a bar are available - however, these are the only ones were eating possibilities in the area, so you get more or less rely on. Curiously all the night we were there, the kitchen and restaurant staff, so that the management "forced" to accommodate guests in the evening. But this was made with a lot of character and the food was delicious, so it wasn't really a problem. The foreign language skills these management staff were very good, otherwise in the hotel (as everywhere in this region) only spoke French. If you're looking for peace and quiet a few days and the Canadian nature is well taken care of here. read more

The lodge is very large, but still very comfortable and with a familiar atmosphere. We had a room with an ocean view. The view was not only by a great sunset fantastic. The hotel is equipped with love for detail. If you ordered a packed lunch, you get a cooler, which felt rich. Free kayaks and paddle boat on the Riesensee just below the hotels. Free wireless in the room. read more

The location is absolutely great in the middle of a forest and several lakes with private beach and boats. However the beach is only over steps distance what not for the elderly or disabled. The rooms are like the entire hotel, completely made of wood and very nicely decorated with coffee maker, iron and ironing board and iron, bathrobe and two spa tubs. Upon arrival I was advised to book the food which we did, as no other restaurants nearby. The price for the additional service was very high but the food was very tasty, especially the breakfast buffet. than ... inadequate I found the high prices for the tours such as. Bärenbeobachtung, floatplane etc. We did a trip with the quad and it was a lot of fun. This hotel was absolutely to be recommended. read more

The hotel has Sacacomie slightly over 100 rooms, was built in 1998 and has everything a 4 star hotel need and several elevators. The entire hotel consists of wood, our room had a balcony and two queen beds. The hotel reception a fire in the fireplace and everything just seemed done and well planned, the lighting in the restaurant/all very warm and in earthy tones. We had booked half board (where you want in the vicinity and also otherwise food), which I recommend. Even if you got hungry at lunch food, there's a lunch menu, but for the quality of ... the breakfast and the possibility to eat dinner at 6pm, is a full board I thought not necessary. There were very few German guests in the hotel - most guests were Old Quebec, French and Americans and of course: Despite of the touch of a outdoor hotel everything was very plush and guests rather chic and not in the Schlabber look. Overall: just done and pleasant! read more

This aroma! After a few days in Betonblöcken shows how good air can smell, clean with a light Holzgeruch. Impressive the large logs, the everywhere were prepared. Our room, just great! Very large, with jacuzzi next to our bed, in addition to the bathroom with shower. A super service, 30 minutes of arriving we already got to tour (the bear and beaver watching, a must). The menu is well arranged but fine, the service - like everywhere in Quebec - French perfect. We have seen so much in the hotel, which we did not get to try reasons. As we ... simply must go back! Tip for allergic people: The Asthmaspray can of your bag, where you can use a breath of fresh air. read more

Idyllic stopover during east-Canada tour, very nice on the lake. Starting point for exciting excursions in the nature - with toddler (1,5 years) is a bit limited (e.g. B. Guests must be at Bear-watching tour) or on your own. As often in Quebec you should at least have Some knowledge French; ) Very good breakfast and dinner, very good service and very friendly. Hotel itself and rooms decorated in rustic lodge style, which is harmoniously located in the surrounding area einpasst. With the rental car by mapquest planning very easy to find. Also very good for relaxing: balcony ..., beach chairs at the lake or the large (bar-)balcony are mis. read more
