Hotel Sacacomie^{(4 stars)}

The rooms are very clean, spacious and functional. All the bathrooms have a bathtub with shower. The double rooms are with a large jacuzzi. Only the suites are equipped with TV, fridge! Unfortunately, there was no safe in the room at the hotel and also no deposit box in the reception area. Behind the balcony doors is an extra/sliding door with Moskitogitter appropriate. The balconies are large and with chairs. All rooms are with a coffee maker, telephone, iron and ironing board and iron.

The breakfast buffet is plentiful and always appetizing fresh with variable offers. The also ample lunch and dinner consisted of starters, 3 different main dishes, salads, soup and dessert. At the dinner buffet daily fresh cut meat dish from the chef (e.g. B. Duck Breast, bovine or Elchbraten). The presentation is very clean and appetizing. The service is very friendly, courteous and prompt. Rates inclusive Tax without half board: breakfast, dinner (about 24,00CAD all courses): about 45,00CAD. The tip is included in the price, a little extra but happy. The atmosphere is relaxed, casual (not a jacket, no tie! ) But most people dress for dinner a bit more sophisticated.

The service is very friendly, courteous and prompt. your requirements will be met. The rooms got daily thoroughly cleaned.

The facilities are extremely well organised. The walk to the lake a solid designed wooden path and there could be 4000 people enjoying secure steps down. Keep in mind it overall (due to the long level Jogging Trails broken) about 200 steps, you also have to kraxeln up again. For elderly or infirm can be difficult. The beach is clean and with modern, new deck chairs. The use of small kayaks and pedal boats is free. Canoes and motor boats can be rented for a fee. A Nazca lines by sea plane is also possible. Life jackets are a must and are free of charge in all sizes available. Bath towels are also available free of charge. The GEOS/spa is very clean and well kept, the indoor pool is a bit small, but the two hot pools compensate the outside with the magnificent views of the lake and the landscape. costs 40,00CAD and the 60 minutes massage 90,00CAD. The hotel has an internet connection and PC for guest use (ajoining room lobby). Don’t forget to join a guided tour to beavers and bears!! For hiking (of varying degrees of difficulty) invite great ways (Sentiers) a well sign posted. The next city (supermarket, pharmacy) is about 40 km away. A taxi (there and back) costs around 45,00CAD. The cell phone reception worked again! Excursions to the region (Quebec City, waterfalls) is definitely recommended.

A very well-kept Hotellodge in Canadian style from wood construction) embedded in magnificent forests directly above the Lac Sacacomie. The rooms are very clean, spacious and functional. No safe, no mini bar ... No cell phone reception! The front desk and the staff generally are very, very friendly and speak (apart from can sometimes be a little difficult clear quebecois French) all speak English. The tourists were international (all age groups, also with children). By the French-speaking guests many visitors from France and Switzerland, but also with the locals, German and North American guests, the hotel is very popular. The overall impression of the scenery is spectacular, also as it is so good in the Panorama atmospheric and no inconvenience constitutes the panoramic view. A great hotel for nature lovers to unwind and relax. The program offered is varied and I would definitely go back again. My conclusion: beautiful and definitely recommended!!

The location of the hotel really does not from the 6 stars! The overall impression of the scenery is spectacular, also as it is so good in the Panorama atmospheric and no inconvenience constitutes the panoramic view. Don’t forget to join a guided tour to beavers and bears!! For hiking (of varying degrees of difficulty) and Baden is a great place. A great hotel for nature lovers to unwind and relax. The offered program varied. The best way to get from the airport Montreal you must be prepared, about 1.5 -2 hours depending on traffic (there are currently lot of construction on highway).

We had a junior suite with whirlpool and fireplace. The room was very spacious. The view from the balcony is fantastic. There is not a lot of a few things: no safe, no fridge, no TV, and plastic chairs on the balcony. The lighting in the bathroom was very dark too.

We booked without the meals. On site there's a room upgrade only for half board for $48 /day/person. But it is possible to pay only the breakfast buffet in the restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. Also the food at the restaurant is very good.

The service is during the strike to be desired. As it is just a small Notpersonal available, the room only superficially cleaned. But the bed was made and towels changed. Outside of meal times you get anything to eat.

There is a new Eco Spa. Unfortunately is the price $40 /person. The indoor pool is for hotel guests free; Attention: children can only from 16Jahren. The lake there is free canoes and pedaloes. A motor boat costs $65 for 3 hours. There are loungers and towels on the lake. The activities during the strike suffers from the most. All the excursions were painted, when we were there. Only the Beobachtungstour "bears and BEAVERS" took place. But this trip was absolutely to be recommended. The beaver until on vhf on us. Schwarzbären we saw.

The hotel is a fabulous property Sacacomie, unfortunately it is time to chose from the staff, which for some services.

The Sacacomie lodge was located wonderfully above the Sacacomie Lakes, and from the lakeside rooms offers a breathtaking view. The next town St. Alexis of Mont is about 15km away, where there is a big supermarket (Marche) and a nice restaurant with its own renowned Plzen brewery.

The room was large, with balcony and high-quality carpet, all in wood except the ceiling (white). The furniture very simple but stylish, of course. Armchair, desk, telephone, but no TV or radio ( just listen to the birds). The bathroom in the 4 star standard. But our room a 24 á balcony, d. H. other rooms was theoretically observable, as the Balkonsegmente not separated.

I can only say: live like god in France, or Quebec! The breakfast - Hot and cold food, lots of local dishes, buttermilk ... At dinner, the whole quality: the water: in Canada one hand great that the water to the food is free, on the other hand, it tasted chlorinated. Here in Sacacomie tap water was the best I have ever had totally soft and of course, and finally without chlortaste! The menu is full regional delicacies: Bisonsteak, canadian salmon, trout, but with Mediterranean dishes and - divine/French desserts. Stylish set the tables, overlooking the lake, cloth napkins and quick, attentive waiters - just wonderful. Stay in the way of food in the Sacacomie really left nothing to be desired. In the half board including: a soup, a cold or warm starter (8 to choose from), a main course (6 to choose from) and a dessert (4 ). Then to the well stocked bar - just lovely!

The staff is very friendly but one thing you should be aware: french canadians are a proud people and very fixed on your language - French. If you speak English, you will be warned that they should rather speak French. However, the young waiters and bar staff all bilingual and also the menu, but despite all Sculpted into the French above all. The staff are very accommodating, my Dad's birthday and any email greetings to him and he printed were cluttered. My mother was needed a wheelchair, and then went to the beach with a jeep/the everything was no problem at all. So: all very accomodating.

On the beach are a couple of pool chairs. In a wooden hut next door are fresh towels for use, also life jackets in all sizes, for free, as are the many kayaks, Canadians or pedal boats. Many other activities could be booked in the hotel, for example. Excursion with motor boat or plane, what we have done - absolutely gorgeous. The flight took took about half an hour and cost per plane 315 CAD, a proud penny, but every penny that I would pay again, because you could see forest and lakes, as far as the eye could see and you seemed out of the way the hotel time, as is. bad was the surprise at the hotel was that the pool area and sauna extra payment - the GEOS-Spa is $40 CAD per person and day extra which I found it a shame, as the only free pool is new and clean but very small and 6 kids are packed in forget it ... But this frustration was almost gone as in warm weather, you should go to the beach anyway in the clear a mountain lake to swim in. There are shopping opportunities in the hotel and nearby NO - so remember to bring enough water in the car or sweets and other nibbles, you would have liked. There is only one a jeweller's in the hotel. There is Internet access (free of charge) in an extra room.

The hotel has Sacacomie slightly over 100 rooms, was built in 1998 and has everything a 4 star hotel need and several elevators. The entire hotel consists of wood, our room had a balcony and two queen beds. The hotel reception a fire in the fireplace and everything just seemed done and well planned, the lighting in the restaurant/all very warm and in earthy tones. We had booked half board (where you want in the vicinity and also otherwise food), which I recommend. Even if you got hungry at lunch food, there's a lunch menu, but for the quality of the breakfast and the possibility to eat dinner at 6pm, is a full board I thought not necessary. There were very few German guests in the hotel - most guests were Old Quebec, French and Americans and of course: Despite of the touch of a outdoor hotel everything was very plush and guests rather chic and not in the Schlabber look. Overall: just done and pleasant!

The hotel was located theoretically only 19 km from the nearest town, but nevertheless totally in the wilderness. 52 km from the motorway and easily accessible, however, partially with 15 % slope and slopes. The tarred street leads to the parking lot, from there you field and Kieswege. The hotel itself bordered on the Mastigouche National Park with endless forests and lakes. To get to the beach you have to on the ground floor of the hotel by the back door and then, there was a long wooden-way through the forest down to the lake - which represents a small sports program, at least the back - very many steps! But a very quaint and done in 5 minutes.

The room, also completely wooden, was sufficiently large. We had first booked a room with lake view, which I could only recommend to everyone. The room (and also the bathroom) was clean and above all soundproofed. A television was not available, which didn't bother us however, since we could read a book with view of the lake then in peace.

The gastronomical offer was more than enough. There was a breakfast buffet, a lunch menu, a small menu for the small hunger during the day and a dinner menu. The quality of the food was good, the atmosphere as already described before was very comfortable.

Both at the reception as also in the bar and the restaurant the staff were very friendly, although we could hardly speak French. But you also got along with English.

Several tours were offered (bears and beaver, quad bike tours etc.), these could be booked additionally. You reached the hotel beach over steps. You could borrow canoes for free or go on horse tours. All in all, the offer was varied.

Due to the timber construction, the whole hotel seemed very comfortable. Especially the terrace on which you could have your drinks and the bar/lounge belonging to it invited to relax there.

To the next location there were scarcely 15 kilometers. Up to the next building approx. 7km. We were there to relax and we also succeeded there. The hotel was located directly over a lake in a forest area. Above all mornings and evenings beautiful panorama pictures were offered. We came with a rental car from Montreal and the hotel was very well signposted. Already on the highway at 60km distance.
