Great hotel just outside of Luxembourg location.
Who on foot into town must a bit of time plan but we are several times gladly walked it is a very nice area.
The room is very spacious and modern furnished.
(free parking is not possible in front of the hotel but a little around the corner...) read more

We were over new year's eve a few days in this hotel. Fortunately we had a room with great views over the city and the sunset.
At the check-in i was not very impressed, as the receptionist spoke english and not really good. The desired information about the city came as a bit short and the breakfast was also not with the hotel brochure match. Whilst checking out it was a lot better. The statement we could then german make.
The room was really ok. Size and the equipment were good, however it was the carpet not so much. With ... allergy sufferers would be another floor better, particularly as a few unpleasant stains on it were.
The breakfast was also okay. You could on new year's eve until 11:30 o'clock eat. The service staff came shortly before breakfast ended each table and informed about a recent course at the buffet. The one experienced also not in every hotel. read more

For business and city trips perfect. The rooms are really nice. Great breakfast buffet. The sightseeing bus stops on the doorstep. A small downside: we had a room in the 5th floor right above the entrance. Unfortunately the first bus already at 7 o'clock and with running diesel engine on the doorstep ( and remained an hour). One of them is you awake... Unfortunately. read more

The hotel Meliá Luxembourg is a ideal location for our Luxembourg-city tour been. The bus station ( Philharmonic/mudam) is on foot only one 4 minutes away. From there you can take the bus lines 1,16 and various Eurobuslinien fast into the city arrive. To the shopping mall also it lasts by bus only 5 minutes.
When you with the car the hotel went to, you should directly in front of the Philharmonic Orchestra, the right of the avenue John F. Kennedy in the tunnel bend or if you from the airport comes, directly behind the two high rise buildings ..., behind the Philharmonic, turn left into the tunnel turn right. At the end of the tunnel the hotel lies then right on the right side.
Is unfavorable, that the hotel no own hotel parking has. Either you go into the parking garage for 22,80 Euro per day or you're lucky enough to find one of the few free parking in the immediate near the hotel. Where that is, you can at the front desk of the hotel ask.
In the hotel one has in the restaurant- and in the lobby a internet internet hotspot. The password you got at the front desk of the hotel.
As a tip for good food I would like to the restaurant Brasserie Bosso, 7 Bisserweg, liter -1238 Luxembourg, highly recommend. It lies in the 'corridor' in the district of reason and offers on the menu a large number of dishes. If you inform in advance would like, can in the World wide web. bosso. LU do.
From the Oberstadt one arrives with the free elevator on place du St -Esprit quickly in the corridor. read more

On weekends very cheap, as the location rather businessortientiert is. Beautiful, large

The relatively new four star hotel Melia in Luxembourg has RD. 150 rooms and spread over several floors. It is modern and decorated in warm colours, has a modern Decor and makes a very friendly and clean impression. the guest structure is international.
the hotel via e-mail from me written down. I asked, whether a reservation to the same (reduced) conditions as for a colleague was possible. The booking service it had unnecessarily complicated and US initially in 1 double room stuck. Then 2 rooms under 1 reservation number and only in the third attempt 2 rooms for 2 people ... under 2 posting numbers to the same conditions. read more

The hotel is conveniently located (car and bus) location. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have its own parking spaces at. The adjoining multi-storey car park costs 15 Euro for 24 hours (Hotel rate). The streets around the hotel have no stopping area. The city center is about a part not paved path within walking distance (with a significant difference in height) in about 30 minutes to reach. The breakfast variety is manageable. The breakfast buffet was refilled only slowly; for example, boiled eggs were only, when we have finished our breakfast. For a short get away, the hotel is highly ... recommended. read more

Very modern and tastefully equipped rooms, as well as the bathroom. The surrounding area is very avant-garde with interesting Kunstpark. The hotel is situated a bit outside of the city (25 minutes by feed at least). A direct access by car makes sense. The fee applies with 15, -EURO per day you can also as a rip-off, but the trend of many city hotels in Europe... read more

Rooms are perfect (size, design facilities), and beautiful it is not. Make sure that wen you are booking, a view of the city center to get, because otherwise the view is directly on the building Schumann (horrific concrete).
the location of the hotel we found good, right next to the Muma and the Philharmonic hall. On foot it is about about 15 to 20 minutes in the city center. With the bus one stop. The sightseeing bus stops just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. (Tickets can be bought directly in the bus). There is a parking garage. We had ... it never used it, since we always'normal' parking spaces found-right next to the Schuman building!
the only downside was, the weak and understaffed staff. At the check in worked only trainers, or the clue 'I am new' on their lapels. They were all so 'new', that everything very complicated and long-winded drain. For such an famous the hotel chain quite unprofessionell. Breakfast it haperte with dishes, or again fresh tables set up!
the breakfast is good and varied, but nothing extraordinary. read more

We can fully Melia recommend. Although the location is on the plateau de Kirchberg for a city break not quite ideal-the city center is however on foot and with bad weather easily reachable by bus. read more

new hotel in the banking and financial district. Stop nearby the hotel, within 15 minutes in the city center. Breakfast excellent, large selection. Deduction on cleanliness at the table as used dishes were not cleared or very late was cleared. Staff are very friendly, partly fünfsprachig. Room spacious, comfortable beds and very good condition (no traces of use). Small, but sufficient fitness area with fruit and drinks. Pleasant and International audience.

very modern and well-kept hotel in a quiet location. In about 3 minutes you can reach the bus station and another 7 minutes away from the city center.
the kingsizebed was fantastic, however the flat screen was behind the expectations of new the hotel. From the dining area we only ate breakfast buffet in use. Because of the booking over holidaycheck it was inclusive. We had to pay it separately, the price not justified. The sauna area was very small but sweet but for a hotel of this size not enough. Altogether we were still with the stay very satisfied. read more

We stayed at the hotel for a spontaneous short trip booked. The location is oK, you need on foot however it's a good half an hour to the center, public transport which we didn't use.
room was perfect, great size and facilities, but I have stayed in the bathtub found a hair and the beds were a bit blowzy made. Otherwise very beautiful though and clean.
the breakfast was a bit poor compared to the standard, but good and nevertheless adequate. We are other the hotel only used more selection.
