Hotel Kempinski Bristol^{(5 stars)}

My wife and i were for the 2. time kempinski to visit and we were for the 2. time disappointed. With the hotel itself we would reasonably satisfied. But you have to note, that old and renovated rooms. The former category we found than ' ok ' but no more. Most of the staff left no positive impression on us. We had the feeling 'from top herab' to be served. The porter and the rooms-ladies except-we found it friendly and helpful. Room Asked we for two rooms with connecting doors. The hotel managed not, the available, although i have at ... night prior to called have to ensure, that work is. The non-renovated rooms are very poorly soundproofed. Until late at night we heard people in the hallway and forth-go and about us. Welcome amenity As gha black-level member is under programme a selection of welcome amenities available. Tradition hotel in best -location directly on the Kurfürstendamm, but : size of the room for this hotel category is a joke (maximum 18 meters²), furniture in the style of the early eighties, totally outdated tv-device with maximally 30 centimeter screen, on arrival obtrusive odor in the hallway, about everything considerable wishes flying, dining somewhat reasonable, meeting rooms are also well, overall impression is for the grups really bad, not recommendable. read more

Very nicely located hotel directly on the Kurfürstendamm. Breakfast is however bad, little alternation, in my opinion not good. The room was big and very clean, but was the furnishings very old, for example: a crt, old furniture... The was handicap friendly in this hotel is very good. Kempinski is for luxury. As (west) berlin i am with the kempi near shopping facilities. Would have never imagined, that i sometimes stay overnight. Firstly, because it is high priced, and secondly stayed in one as berlin rather rare in a berlin hotel. However in november 2012 we had a private party. I surprised my wife with the hotel accommodations. Nice eat out, in the cinema and on the next day in the zoo. The central location on Ku'damm is natural protruding. But overall i was disappointed and it can also not recommend. Of the lobby is of course according ... to rank, the staff very friendly. I had at l ' tur, a overnight stay with breakfast in the double room for a total of 152,00 Euro. However the room we were extremely disappointed. One sees that the hotel has gotten old and much kludge floorlevel. Neither the room was modernly furnished, still somewhat unusually. Not even a flatscreen tv was available, so everything was very old. The bathroom with eckeingang into the room wormed, very small and just standard. Small corner shower, so even small are only the toilets in the plane. The breakfast was also disappointing. Of course, it was adequate, the quality was good. But neither was it unusually still exclusive. To the Ku'damm there is a large restaurant for the obviouslythey. The breakfast for the hotel guests in a small alcove instead. The buffet was in u-form, one came barely manouver. In the breakfast room it was so cramped, that no movement not came through. The seat furniture was quite simple, rather kneipenstandard. For years the kempinski Bristol on our ' to book list ' really far above. After a promotion we had then also not more long consider carefully. The location is unquestionably one of the best for visitors. The hotel has somewhat majestic (we find). The setting, the style, the staff simply gigantic. The bigger then our disappointment, when we our small, a bit old-fashioned 'superior room' shown got. Here we did not want to stay. So, consultation at the front desk and upgrade in the newer part with the newer rooms. Aye, that was it, what we wanted to enjoy. ... Here, we felt comfortable, it we could relaxation and enjoy. Also the spa area great, all great. But unfortunately it worked with breakfast in the 'Reinhard's' not. The room was crowded, the tables were slowly cleared and the service was not really with joy at work, unfortunately! This staff were not comparable with the remaining ( front desk, front desk, room and so on). The hotel is very well located, in the middle of the Kurfürstendamm yet the rooms are very quiet, you can hear actually nothing. The breakfast buffet is overwhelming, so a selection, there are hardly in another hotel, there is everything (really everything ), what you can imagine. My family and I can these bad reviews, the here be made not understand. We had a deluxe business suite and the room was simple great - very clean and very nicely furnished. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Also the food in the various pub was delicious. The hotel is located directly at the Ku'damm. The kempinski is definitely recommendable and we will certainly soon again a couple of days there. read more

For a short break for city sightseeing the hotel is precisely because of its location a good place. Unfortunately is a little renovation of emergencies (hallway/ room). The Speiseräumlichkeit is a bit cramped; starting about the place of breakfast buffet to the tables. Can, of course, the fact is, that the breakfast room at the same time restaurant / coffee bar is.
