Room with a view of the lake and balcony in the guesthouse eden, very big and great view.
Beds unfortunately somewhat narrow and apart standing.
Cleanliness hygiene very good.

In short, a very clean, cozy hotel with beautiful landscaping, very delicious kitchen and great breakfast buffet. It didn't bother us, but the tv decor is very dated :-) we will go back again to Caravel! read more

It was a great relaxed vacation, in a very beautiful clean hotel, in a dreamlike location. The room was brilliant. Lake view from the bed out. Really well kept complex with very pleasant staff. The breakfast buffet was rich and balanced. The evening menu was excellent.

Very beautiful hotel. Is located on the hillside with an extraordinary view on the lake and the mountains. We had a car and were therefore very flexible. We saw, that it would be a good bus connection and the boats also regularly. The food and menu we were skeptical opposite. But it was very good and we were also always offered something else to get in case the dishes to choose from, nothing would find. We would surely have another vacation. read more

A very relaxing vacation in nice atmosphere. However rather for the age 60 suitable, as it evenings no or rather only entertainment for the said age was.
All facilities for disabled guests of the hotel were rather on Senionren and retirees adjusted. Nevertheless it was a great stay in an attractive hotel on Lake Garda. read more

A very recommendable hotel in a great location and to be comfortable. For a four-star hotel with the claim on the award 2012 a small point of criticism:
Breakfast could be more diverse respectively better quality with bread/ rolls. Dinner very good, however should this beautiful atmosphere the waiters were not so race, as they wanted to early workers. The house wine at the table well, the 'same' wine in the bar not enjoyable, but impeccably by better replaced.
Who big portions expected, the will probably unsatisfied his, but if you stay here with the 5 courses didn't get full ..., it was their fault.
We will gladly come again! read more

All in all a good hotel. The rooms, as well as the whole hotel are very old fashioned. There could be renewed. The style of the 80. Years are everywhere again. The beds are very narrow. The sliding door in the bathroom was a no-go - simply not up to date anymore and very geräuschintensiv at the open and close.
The gastronomy is very good. At the same time but also more appearance than substance. The waiters are very well coordinated. But it is a in such a way before as if the sooner the food -the faster it also ... cleared up can. Food like in the fast food. read more

We were with ake eisenbahntouristik as a part of a sonderzugreise (tea rheingold) in the Hotel Caravel, room 342 superior. From the 3rd floor you have a wonderful view on the Lake Garda. The room was newly renovated (2011?) with an attractive decor, only the balkonmobiliar came apparently from the start time of the hotel ( eighties). In comparison to other four star hotels missing a mini bar/ fridge and the in the meantime often offered kettle for coffee/ tea. The hotel is centrally located, the historic part/ port limone is easy to reach. The staff are very friendly and ... are always willing to help. The dining room is absolutely clean-but he seemed somewhat 'dusty' -here is only partly renovated. The salad-, as well as the dessert buffet was during our stay unfortunately not especially imaginative, within a week there were hardly any variety. The portions in 2/3 course (3 dishes to choose from) are of its size very well arranged and for younger guests with appetite rather too small. The quality of the meal times can however be described as good.
Our drive with ake eisenbahntouristik Gerolstein was very well organized, the program on site ( Sirmione, Verona, malcesine with small lake tour with north) was always accompanied by local experienced tour operator. The arrival with the special (spacious seats all 1. great with 2 diner and observation car) was wonderful - not only for eisenbahnliebhaber and the train was very punctual ( Frankfurt-rovereto).
All in all a nice vacation, the small weaknesses of the hotel the overall impression is not substantially affected. read more

The hotel has a medium size (118 rooms). The main building and the building Villa Eden are separated by a covered walkway. Both houses are in huge gardens integrated. Potted palms, olive trees, pampas grass and many fragrant summer flowers. We had a big room in the main building (renovated), the cleaned daily was. The view from the balcony went over the hotel gardens, the adjacent park commune limone to over the lake-really a dream. We had booked half board, the is very recommendable, if you a lover italian cuisine in different menus is available.
At the end of september ... until early october were lots of pensioners in the hotel. The guests change, as tourists and coach parties here station.
The language in the hotel is mostly german. The staff beyleveld perfect german, what a unfortunately not helps, the local language to try. We nevertheless tried and were exceedingly friendly served. read more

This rooms are renovated and all had the same situation, what we didn't like so much, that the balconies only with two small beams in process

Lovely stay with few problems: chargeable wireless worked not always and one/woman after the clearance of accounts on the day before departure logged out, although to the day of departure paid for. It could all incidentals only be paid by cash. In the quite nice room was the floor was absolutely clean (no carpet or similar), smooth and very hollow. read more

The hotel was all told quite good. Our room in the house EDEN was very big, but no more up-to-date! The bathroom smelled and is absolutely in need of renovation! Here absolutely not four-star standard!
