Interesting concept needed near other airports

I need to make clear that stayed in one of the dormitory rooms here (six beds to a room, single gender) rather than a private room. I had a 10 hour overnight stopover in Frankfurt so decided a hostel room was better than sleeping in the airport. 3 beds were full during the time I was here. Check in was slow and there was a long queue. This needs to be improved as people are time poor coming from flights. Check out was quick however. There is a shuttle from the hotel to the airport, but I believe there is ... a charge. If the weather if reasonable, walk yourself. This is poorly signposted; leave terminal 2 arrivals level and follow signs to gateway gardens. You will have to cross a large road, but there are traffic lights. Eventually you will be able to see the building with M hotels on it. I would like to see more of these: cheap hotels with some hostel rooms, within walking distance of most major airports. read more

The hotel we have - like many other nationalities-as vorübernachtung chosen for an early flight booked. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel worked perfectly. Also, contrary to other reviews, the wake-up call. The hotel shuttle in the morning was easy to get to its capacity limit and cannot be reserved. A normal taxi is not more expensive and may at the front desk be ordered. It was place on time. All in all, a very competent front desk. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks at normal prices. It can only smaller dishes (pizza, pasta and baguettes) ... be ordered. Due to the many different guests there was a special atmosphere, the us pleased. The room was clean, small and sufficient for one night. The sleep was relaxing, there the building good zugedämmt is. We found a hotel without large schnickschnack, functional with a good price-performance ratio. Gladly again! read more

We had the hotel meininger for one night before our cruise. In the hotel everything is clean. The rooms are small and in the room is no closet (just a wardrobe) but for one night it is good. Nice is the kitchen you can at 4:00 o'clock prepare (coffee and filter paper) carry forward. Refrigerator is also available. The hotel we would again, because the price is ok. From the window we could the airplanes

I was because of an early flight one night (or rather a half night) the meininger. The access to the terminal 2 is really great. I am on foot and that was also without any problems, however there is also a shuttle bus.
I was really satisfied with the room and the front desk. The restaurant i didn't use. I was alone and had a double room sufficient in size.
Super also : free wi-fi in the room.

The hotel for me from my employer booked, as i travel for business was. I knew so not what i came, when i on the late evening in Frankfurt landed. Afterwards but i can say, that all in all i very pleasant surprised was my stay. The hotel seemed new and modern. We deduct there but definitely for the very delegated and worn carpets on the corridors, which is not very looked inviting.
In the hotel are young and older guests equally met, international allerlings very mixed. Several elevators did not long waiting periods arise, which was quite an advantage. ... The value for money was, overall completely alright. read more

Hotel was to stay for an early flight used. From the airport one was the free shuttle to the hotel brought (journey time 2 minutes to terminal 2). Check-in was quick, staff friendly. Rooms are not large and have no closets. The recommendation but not detract from our stay, one is not finally to the spa since. The cleanliness was ok, fresh towels available. Bath big enough. Breakfast was not used. Shuttle buses to the airport cost per person 3 Euro. When we were there, they were already occupied. Taxi was 6,30 Euro cost. There was no noise disturbance. ... Would book this again anytime! read more

We had this hotel for an overnight stay booked, since we on the next day from the airport the plane and our car at the hotel wanted to leave. The check in was totally chaotic. When we arrived, said the help our booking is void. Then called once a colleague checked. When the cancellation out took (prior to i had over credit card paid) he said, we 2 adults and 2 children should a double room. After i gave him explained, that there with 2 adults and 2 children is difficult, he gave us two double rooms. After the parking ... lot asked, he said this would be in the price not included in the price. Luckily i had my reservation and showed him these, in it, that the parking is. As this sorted out, he wanted to then our car keys if our car while we are away, move must. I explained to him, that i nobody our car keys will be. These accepted it then also. The rooms and the bath were quite small but for one night that didn't bother us. The windows are soundproofed. Shuttle service to the airport worked well. Since we on our return flight in terminal 1 landed and the shuttle to terminal 2 runs, we took a taxi, what 6,60 Euro cost. Us it was too umständig (with a lot of luggage and the children) only with the airport shuttle from terminal 1a 2 and then the hotel shuttle to take.

The hotel is right next to the airport about 2 minutes with the shuttle (from the airport to the hotel free, reciprocal 3 €per person). For an overnight stay before the flight absolutely sufficient and recommendable. read more

The meininger me even this time is convincing. Again we stayed twice, once before the flight, from the 13 at the 14 december , and after the holiday from 28 at the 29-12-2012.

To 2 time we use this hotel after a long flight as night. The frontdesk employees are very pleasant and everything was quick.
The booked breakfast is super and everything was very tasty. Unfortunately we found the breakfast room very cramped. It was barely a place empty and thus it was very tight, loud and busy during the breakfast. The dirty dishes from the previous guest was quite long on the tables. The majority of the guests, as we cleared the dishes already itself. On the place we find, e is still need for action. read more

After a visit, you can here good stop, since one also the parking and the shuttle bus-service use. Breakfast was very good. To be criticized is only, that it in the breakfast area to certain rush hours to space and that you had your table even making up must, at least when we were there.
We had a triple room. To point out are the windows, from the noise from the planes is nothing to be heard. read more

We stayed one night in this hotel, since we on the next day an early flight had and the meininger airport hotel absolutely recommend. The front desk was very nice and the check in was very quick. It immediately asked, whether you for the next day to the airport a shuttle bus or needed a taxi. The shuttle bus costs 3 Euro per person and the taxi 8 Euro.
Also whilst checking out there were no problems.
The room was clean and by the size perfectly adequate for one night. If you don't luxury need and not far away from ... the airport would like to be, is in the right place in this hotel. I have myself after a long search for the hotel decided, as it is much cheaper than all other hotels nearby was and we weren't disappointed. We book it definitely be going back again. read more

This should be only a short stopover before the actual be on holiday, as we were from Frankfurt the next morning at 5 o'clock takeoff should... Next time we book rather another hotel.
The shuttle service is from the airport difficult to find. There is worthwhile partly the 15 minute walk. The hotel makes otherwise a well-kept and clean impression. read more
