A great hotel, the 5 star rating. The leisure facilities on the island are large (various water sports, Tennis, fitness centre, billiards, karaoke bar, etc.
My tip: only with breakfast book and in the evening in the beach restaurant eat out (nicer atmosphere)
Great : Banana-boating and a jump louder flying fish from the water!
Negative: you can the island only with a hotel-tour leave and these are very expensive (for example costs the short trip with the boat to male per person about 50 Dollar). read more

Very nice well maintained clean facilities with different bungalow variants (we had a deluxe beachfront villa point 206, very recommendable). Spacious air-conditioned rooms, super large bed (linen all three days changed), twice per day housekeeping, great dressing area area with mini-bar, small grilling station for coffee and tea, safe, make-up mirror. Luxurious bathroom, two separate sink, indoor shower, bathtub and the best: natural outdoor shower (warm water over the numerous solarspeicher gefordert).
We had booked all inclusive, it is also because of the high price structure urgently recommendable! Except for the theme restaurants and selected drinks ( for example special ... whiskey/or * marked ) we could to your hearts content and enjoy! read more

Very clean, great room. We had however a deluxe bungalow and no room, to the rooms I can only say the not so great beach section have. View of times and directly at the sports activities so jet skiing and lots of other drive a prior to the nose rum.

our vacation was just lovely. We had bungalow number 207 and approximately 10 meters distance to the beach. This was very quiet and the pool was dreamlike blue and naturally warm. The island is very nice a wonderful reef circumscribed you. Breakwater clearly disassociated the area of the comfortable bathing with the adventurous reef from. Snorkeling one can recommend, but please be careful with the vulnerable corals. The best not at all touch! Many colorful Fishes and some sharks. Vihamana buffet just delicious and Hassans team and Ali very friendly.
offer lots of activities, but without Robinson Club character.
and ... the noise from the planes may some people intruding, but even more vacationFeeling.

We have two young children (a + three years) here and because of its proximity to times and the following rating (http://www. Holidaycheck. De/Hotel review Hotel Kurumba and village and resort and and island and shines and and so on-_hb-Ch. Id_1894002 HTML) for this resort-no error ☺ it is super! We used only the buffet and were very satisfied. The quality is very good and interesting food. For my taste there could have been a bit more 'grill meat', but meat to be imported as expensive, I can overlook that (and if one is honest, there are always at ... least three meat)-we had the deluxe bungalow 207, and with kids this is perfect. 5 meters to the water, our afternoon seemed we could lay down and were always nearby. Thanks to the palm trees directly in front of the door, we had always enough shade. Many have said we were mad with children to fly here, but it is really awesome, because the water is harmless, you are well looked after and not have to carry everything to the beach, because you are directly on the beach ☺ Snorkeling with thousands of colorful fish right outside the door. In the reviewer's opinion, and I am already on the great Barrier called in Australia dipped. A funky variety of sea animals you could admire (snorkel equipment from at home carry forward!). Despite our spirited young children we never had the feeling, that we weren't welcome. We found that very pleasant, staff, other guests didn't look stupid. If you want peace, it is also the buffet ☺ The only negative I can only say, what we knew before, the proximity to times. 'Noise' so (it didn't bother us and our son thought it was great, from time to time an airplane about to see). The view of times is not so nice. Room 207 (West), is however everything was good. And, of course, the washed ashore trash. Will always be eliminated, but driving from time to time what in the water and you can tell, the Paradise is damaged. But since the film 'plastic' I know, that there was everywhere like that. Conclusion: clear recommendation for families and people who want to be the objective. We would recommend it again and again, but if we go on the Maldives fly, without children and further away from times ☺ Tips: full board with children, we found-as we arrived at 8:00 awake and to 19:00 dinner. That would be too long for our exceptional. All-inclusive we had not, you have to calculate. Upgrade is however possible!-on-site-dollar bills for tips are convenient. read more

It was our first time on the Maldives and we were very pleased overall with the hotel. The staff was very hospitable, but they took it with the cleanliness not always so exactly. Apart from the breakfast is the food in the other restaurants (except on a few menu exceptions) not recommended (especially unfortunately the fish and meat dishes.).

If you are looking for a bungalow direct at the beach would like to, this should note, at the time of booking. The deluxe bungalow with one large terrace equipped. Deluxe room is more like a small rooms with one small terrace. Unfortunately we could only rooms with breakfast or full board. We booked then board, but absolutely not worth it. Many employees worry about to the hours to the cleanliness of the hotel area. The staff is very friendly and courteous without being intrusive to work. We have stayed in a pool Villa which was very well maintained and in a very good condition.
The beach is gorgeous and very well kept. The reef in the vicinity you can great snorkelling. Overall us each desire was read off from the eyes and we had a wonderful honeymoon. read more

Kurumba was the first island in the Maldives, on a tourist hotel was built. The hotel is completely renovated a few years ago. The older trees on the beautiful garden landscaped island, as well as the proximity to male and airport can still only on the age of the hotel. The air traffic has increased significantly since the beginning, we found it on the west side of the island--but not at all. Also I have some 'disappointed' a portal really only to say this: if you look at a list before also only, is on the airport informed! You should ... also not underestimate the benefits of this area. It is precisely with children we were happy, after the flight after 20 minutes 'arrived to be on holiday '. Other guests told me about their way to a more distant island a week earlier a wähend tropics storm, due to the incredible waves three time have used the same time (about two hours at a dramatic waves).
We lived in a deluxe bungalow directly on the beach. seven meters to the water. Terrace and banks were only separated by shady palm trees. Paradise! If you want to make the effort, but asks just a few days before arrival for a beachfront bungalow on the website. We had number 207. It was actually not better. Absolutely equal were then the 190/191. (!) But also the easy stagger back Deluxe bungalows, all with unobstructed ocean-are also very beautiful. And have the one or other Chinese tourist on the terrace less ☺ The garden bungalows were considerably smaller and closer together and of the Deluxe rooms also I would advise against rather. The money paid off!
The interior of the room can only agree with the previous speakers me. Has everything one or more, than you need. You are exclusive! The large bathroom with shower in particular, bath and additional outdoor definitely a convincing. Everything was beautiful with flowers decorated. Daily is cleaned in the morning, in the evening then the inevitable sand and the bed is uncovered gathered, daily (at least 1x) changed. Kettle, tea, coffee and safe on the room. Particularly to mention is, that each guest a 0.5 l bottle of water daily given on the room. The reduced run the water a lot. Otherwise you want at the bar but also one or the other drink! Both alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails not also are surprisingly good and cheaper than expected.
The food is it not much to say. If you're going to the many restaurants will find opportunities not something, what tastes to him, is itself to blame. We have declined because of our small children on the possibility and dine-around buffet dinner in the main restaurant. Daily Changing themes and national dishes. Very interesting and very tasty. The seafood restaurant, and is also, without exception, what a giantisches flair on an open terrace with sea has beleutetem, we will just the next time ☺ Due to the prices we recommend to book half board, on site the daily buffet costs 70 $. In other restaurants is applied to the part of the half-board (30%). If you want to try all kitchens, but rather should strive to a dine-around. Full board is possible, we had lunch in the heat anything but, given that the breakfast was good and plentiful is, hunger was not there at all. Generally absolutely humane prices for soft drinks and beer.
The beach is really gorgeous, super well-kept and time with extended recent beach service, but completely discreet and unobtrusive is, as all the staff members of the hotel. Is the white beach and protected the turquoise lagoon of all a ten meters broken wall, is the absolutely necessary. It is not beautiful, but also not has disturbed. Dare you is important, though, also behind the wall on the main reef close to snorkelling. This reef, after a few meters on about 8m sloping, is even offered by other hotels as a snorkel trip. Close to the desalination plant in the West we saw the most colorful fish, octopus a, a turtle, a full-blown their (totally uninterested in us) and some dolphins about 20m away from the sea. Gigantic! But also within the lagoon it is beautiful corals and fish to see. The often mentioned baby sharks were to the joy of our children really each day. Charming and elegant animals! Our tip: mask, snorkel and fins can rent it. After the snorkel on the Maldives Tagesbeschäftigung no 1 is, brings the best of equipment to home with! The snorkelling was enough and if not, the hotel had its own diving school drove several times daily the best dive sites in the region. Perfect equipment, good service, friendly people, unfortunately not cheap (price list is on-line). From five dives it is a Discout. For all of you mentioned divers: the first dive umschärmten us four to 3M large Manta ☺ A week before it even been 30 should be.
The leisure offer is good, but rather what for the fuller budget. The new management is changing this criticism soon, so that table tennis and other really small actions-as standard in all 3 star hotel-free. But who needs a fantastic sea so actually the warmth and one or two fitness centre? The SpA, the we not have used, designed to guarantee real relaxation. But to very high prices, in comparison to other 5 also star hotels. Little things like no child care (not, that we have used them) or a completely defenceless children's playground are also shade on the amendment list management. One is really constantly to improvement. Travel on other islands flights were offered or also, were unfortunately but also not the budget-a 4 family (it were probably over 800 $for a water plane trip with picnic). However, we treated us a guided tour in the island's capital. On each case to recommend! At least I am only really on holiday in a foreign country have been arrived. The fish and vegetable market is not to be missed!
Some tips: take a drink on the open terrace of the beach bar. We sat, like the seafood restaurant, on the illuminated lagoon and the fish. For fans said plants, this island is the paradise for you. Flowers everywhere, and it smelled of a wide variety of tropical plants. Orchid farm in a younger plants are grown large, to to get a new place later in the hotel. Very many gardeners with the maintenance of the island employs and loved their job. Grabs you simply a gardener and receive a small private leadership to particular the island (unofficially, but very interesting ☺ !) (Autan) mosquito always and everywhere there have, not only in the evening! My last tip to the dress code. I read in the run-up to the recommendation, quiet the 'good' clothes in the bag to pack, you can take it. To our time actually only the Russian ladies with 15 centimeter high heels strolling and designer dresses on the catwalk. The rest of the audience (incidentally mixed with overhang of Russian and Chinese guests, but also British, dutch, Scandinavians, Swiss, Americans.) was normal chic with long pants for the ladies in alltagstauglichen dresses and or but light summer pants dressed. So let the closet to home!
It was a successful short break, we will like again. For three weeks I can imagine none of the maldivian Islands as the sole domicile, I would see a risk of island rage. read more
