Nice hotel at the Copacabana with good service. We have us in the Porto Bay we felt comfortable all around, de Lux corner room. Morning eyes, and view of Copacabana! A dream is the pool area on the roof with fantastic views. Great breakfast bufett, much fresh fruits! Daily morning newspapers from home; four din a4 sides in copy. Free wi-fi. Modern and beautiful hotel in very good location. The hotel is sure one of the most beautiful at the Copacabana. Great breakfast bufett with a magnificent view. The pool on the roof terrace serves more the optics, than the it is suitable for swimming. read more

The hotel is very good, but in the previous reviews overrated. The room size is very spacious, the condition is not according to the price. Cleanliness was superficially (under the bed probably won't cleaned). The guests of the hotel are very varied. Tourists of all nations, and many businessmen. The actually very high price (own prior) by additional tax on site again getoppt, even though we a best rate booked. read more

    The hotel is, separated by a main street, directly at the Copacabana. The beach is wide, but very dirty. The water quality is rather below average, since there were some trash swam around. Ipanema is much cleaner. Nearby there is plenty of restaurants with reasonable food, but on german price level. The beach bars invite you to a Caipirinha a (6-7 Real), but very 'strong' are. There are many bezahldamen in some bars in the more immediate vicinity, what the standard very downward. Crime we have ever experienced. You felt was quite sure.

The hotel has a great location, right in front of Copacabana beach. The room was modern, clean, spacious and with an amazing view. The employees were all very nice. Breakfast was great, with lots of offerings and some tasty fruit. The pool is on the 20th floor and has an amazing view. read more

Clean and central hotel at the Copacabana. Very high prices. Attractions are all nearby and quickly accessible. Hotel has its own taxis. Protects rip off and is safe. Private beach area with free beach chairs. Highly recommend is also the restaurant and the pool bar on the roof. read more

As a part of our trip was for Rio de Janeiro the Hotel Porto bay in the comfort class offered. We were very pleasant empfangem, with a glass of sparkling wine. The Porto Bay hotel is one of many multi-story hotel on the Copacabana, not the first Haus am Platz, but nevertheless absolutely okay. read more

    Our room was adequate in size. We had a double bed and an extra bed. The rooms were decorated up to date, with a balcony, air conditioning and tv. Bathroom/toilet was also adequately large. The rooms were cleaned really well.

    This hotel lies directly at the Copacabana and is really recommendable. Our room was laterally with sea view and the corcovado. In the evening at the Copacabana langschlenderen, there were some restaurants, but they are for the what was offered, a bit expensive. On the promenade there were small beach bars, there, there are snacks and drinks for reasonable prices. During the day it is also possible in the streets to go, at night you should be careful.

It is a lovely hotel - right at the Copacabana and separated by a main street. We had a small suite with a balcony direct with a view of the copa and the was great. One day we had forgotten our safe to close. In the room was a note, that one the room not cleaned have, since the safe was open. It was missing but also purely nothing at all in the safe, although passports and tickets also cash is stored was. We found that very pleasant and now say a little about the crime in Rio! The price ... was not cheap, but Rio is in general very expensive. read more

The hotel has several floors. We had our room on the 10. floor. The rooms were big enough and we had a superior room with a balcony and a partial ocean view. There are approximately about 100 rooms, so not too big. On the 5. floor there were the breakfast, great view of Copacabana. At the top on the roof (i think it was 20. floor) was the pool. There you had a very nice lovely views over the Copacabana. In general the hotel was very clean. The staff at reception were very friendly and spoke good english. There were ... all sorts of guests there: german, french, spanish, italian and so on. Of all ages, also business people we for breakfast seen. All in all a perfect hotel. But i must deduct a point. In the hallways and also in the lobby it was always really dark. read more

    Our room was great. A nice bathroom, two large beds, a mini bar, a safe (free of charge), a balcony (we had a partial view of the ocean), a table and a television. As well as a water heater with the possibility a coffee (there was only tap water and no milk for the coffee). The room had also an airco, what central steered was. It at night was too cold, we our hotel from the kartenslot taken. But the downside was: we had no electricity.

    In the hotel there was on the roof terrace the pool bar and a bar in the lobby. At the pool bar there were eating and drinking, also at the lobby bar. There were also there, where it the breakfast there was a restaurant (we didn't use). The breakfast was always more than enough with huge choice. There there is something for everyone. The food at the pool bar (cesars salad ) was delicious.

    The staff was always very friendly and very helpful. For breakfast it took a little bit until the tea or coffee came, but the waiters were nevertheless always friendly and in a good mood. The waiters even all spoke a bit of english, so that the communication really good worked (at the airport no english spoken). Our room was cleaned every day. There was a laundry service, a room service, which we didn't make use of. We had no complaints.

    On top the pool roof terrace was also the fitness studio and an area for spa/massage (we didn't use). The pool on the roof was rather somewhat small, but perfectly adequate and had a pleasant temperature (it was cooled). There were never too lots of people here. Could relax on comfortable lounge chairs or at the table on wooden chairs with umbrellas. At the beach we were not. We had which read with chairs and so on. Knew not, how it works and, if it costs. In the hotel you had internet access for a fee. At the beach we were. He was very clean. On the beach, there was showers, with a generator driven were. The beach was also without tipping, since most brazilians do not smoke.

    The hotel is right by the Copacabana. It is rather unimpressive, as it from the outside very dark looks and directly at the corner is. Over the street and it was directly at the beach with the many bars for eating and drinking. A department store is a few blocks away. In the immediate area there are numerous restaurants, bars and shops. From the airport to the hotel it is by car approximately 20 to 30 minutes. We have a trip to the corcovado and sugar loaf right at the hotel booked (185 Real per person).

Very nice hotel with wonderful roof terrace with a pool ( view of corcovado ), as well as a breakfast room, a unique view of Copacabana offers. A small highlight: the morning newspaper from the country in four a4 pages ( great idea!). Negative: Wi-Fi is be applicable ( the only time in our four-week südamerikareise ). Is this really necessary? read more

About this hotel you can actually only swarm: Competent (English-speaking ) front desk employees. - every morning Auzüge a newspaper of the door in your own language ( included weather forecast for the day) - stunning views of the hotel terrace ( Caution: pool is only 90 centimeter deep, but it is sufficient for short cooling completely ;-) ) - in such a comfortable beds I in a hotel never slept! With a repeated stay in Rio we would definitely again in this beautiful hotel check in. Price-performance Is true. The roof terrace in 20th Floor is because of the view of the Copacabana unique. read more

Standard -room a bit small. The bathroom had already better days. However is the service absolutely great! The beds were also excellent! The roof terrace was inviting really for sunbathing and in the breakfast room is Copacabana beach- and view of the sea included! This hotel I can especially due to its perfect service only recommend. Great hotel. Merely the moldered door frame in the bathroom was disgusting. Besides that very clean. Nice front desk, great room. Was had a really lovely stay in this recommendable hotel. Breakfast gigantic. The from other guests mentioned problem with the congestion of the elevator we found as acceptable. To the rush hour of course you could times a couple of minutes wait, but which is it, one is on vacation. Internet is way too expensive - RS 40 for 24 hours! Pool respectively the loungers and chairs were always occupied/busy-if you want a to have would not like should ... early get up.!? read more

Hotel in the first row, pool and on the roof terrace with amazing views. Had the deluxe room with a balcony and direct view of the sea booked, but unfortunately only a standard room without a balcony received. The bathroom is really very small and needs a renovation, water runs whilst showering from the/the joints/n the bathtub. Also the bathtub with the shower is very small and hardly any space for is possible in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet very good, with a large selection fruits and juices, as well as warm, cold and sweet food and great view of the ... Copacabana. Very attentive, pleasant staff. read more
