we were satisfied with everything. Only one: the agency did not have the time of rücktransfers informed. The front desk could the published telephone numbers initially no connection received. Finally, a time (morning 6:45 A. M.) agreed. The driver then came already at 5:20 o'clock and wondered, that we have not were available. We are then 6.45 dangers, which was totally sufficient. read more

The hotel lies on the south-western end of Cascais on foot only a couple of minutes away from Boca do inferno and 10-15 minutes from the center. Depending on room you had a direct view of the see there the hotel complex only separated by the beach promenade was. In the most rooms you should hardly anything from the traffic hear in comparison to some rooms in separate building villa d'Este-but nachsts it is also very quiet. The hotel is using of high quality materials, whether floor, furniture or other are more. Everything seemed very harmoniously, inviting and very well ... maintained. The garden with a pool isn't very large offers however generally a sufficient number of good loungers. There are towels free of charge and sun screens are on request stretched. The relatively small pool is with sea water stocked and quite flat. There is no beach nearby! The prices on the terrace and at the pool are very high ( for example Cola 0.2 liter 4 €, small beer 8€). The room was very good equipped with electric serving curtains also nerves can only right for the circuit of lamps and air conditioning shall apply: after each putting in the room card must be air conditioning and all lamps again switch! Free Wi-Fi is available and the safe is laptoptauglich and even with power to load mistake. The bathroom is very generous with a shower, bath tub and separated toilet. The breakfast you can also on the terrace and at least if you early there are all in sufficient quantity. All possible coffee preferences are met. The hotel owns also a conference center with many Besprechungsräumen, that means we could possibly at the end of the day a larger group by the pool or on the terrace show. To Lissabon you can by train for straight once 2,55 Euro drive (on the seaside sit!). read more

The medium sized five star hotel, somewhat outside from cascais directly on the atlantic ocean, offers its guests lots of space, comfort and peace. On both sides of the haupttrakts newer date belong two building to the hotel, the Umberto ii., the last Italian king many decades until 1983 as exilwohnsitz served. It is also the name of the hotel back. If you have a (rental) car available has, you can a week long quite good. About the cleaning there were nothing at all to complain about. Most - too many not young - guests come from England and Portugal. ... German it is only a few in. We booked half board, which as somewhat malicious proved. Evenings prevails in the hotel totally dead. read more

    The rooms are huge and well equipped: lcd tv ( ZDF, 3 satellite, however no ARD), in-room safe, large closets, desk, couch, two chairs, lots of lamps and last but not least, free wi-fi-front desk-everything in the best condition. Annoying was the frequent, quite loud humming from a vent stack next to the balcony. Otherwise left the air conditioning practically not turn off. For a switched you at night as well spontaneous and to the other turbine cold air in turned off condition unhindered in our room.

    Although according to catalog booked half board can be, the hotel is actually not regularly evenings feeding guests set. Nevertheless we are not verhungert - on the contrary. In the noble restaurant Belvedere, the (only) at three days open which, we could baronial meals. On another day there was nice barbecue with an extensive buffet. Further three days we had to take a tapas -restaurant la terraza exp, which wasn't so appealing. Both restaurants were only very meagerly visited-sometimes we were all alone. The breakfast buffet is for the English taste optimized. No fruit salad, the selection of fruit, milk products and muesli could have been bigger. The refilling empty bowls often took a very long time. Also on coffee, the capacity was poured, you had to sometimes have to wait long. As we stayed in 3 star hotels better breakfasts.

    The staff were always very friendly and helpful. English one should however already. On the other hand we have at the front desk also a perfect German speaking employee found.

    To the hotel has a sufficient big pool with about 27 °C warm salt water! Loungers and sun screens were always sufficiently available. It is however difficult, the turmoil by the pool to withdraw. Was pleasant, that the two showers warm, as well as cold water donated. In the atlantic, we have not. There is however in cascais and northern the long sandy beaches.

    The hotel is only because of the especially at night little driven on uferstrasse from the atlantic ocean. To the center of cascais is about a quarter of an hour. Here there are a lot of shops and restaurants - a really beautiful, right original place with much flair and some hustle and bustle. Along the promenade is also estoril after 4 kilometer easy to reach. Here is the biggest (play) casino europe's, the Ian fleming to its James-bond -novels inspired. Today is unfortunately both estoril, as well as the casino only disappointment. There are no shops, no flair and in the quite casino looked you almost only zerlumpte, smoking gambling addicts at the machines. Most warmly recommendable are against excursions in the 17 kilometer away sintra with its sights ( pena palace and park, maurenkastel, park and palace of monserrate, park and palace of regaleira ).

In three minutes walk on the Promenade, in ten minute walk away in the middle of the center. great transport links to the surrounding towns, as well as to Lisbon. Lisbon is to take a train for about 2.00€ in about 30 minutes per person distance! Highly recommended! read more

Nice Hotel, with very large friendly rooms and friendly staff. The sonsitigen Einrichrungen as the games room for kids, the pool and the restaurant could convince. We can thoroughly recommend the hotel. read more

The Grande real Villa Italia is a very nice, luxury and recommendable Hotel. It is located just across the road limited on the Atlantic Ocean. The rooms at the front, as well as the pool you can enjoy the view of the ocean. I had a room at the rear of the hotel and eases land. Don't be afraid the area was very green, the view is not 'as in the backyard'. But the sea is of course always a nice touch ☺ I only had breakfast, but that was very varied and tasty. There was something for every taste. ... The rooms were spacious and very tastefully decorated. I loved the spacious, tastefully decorated bathroom liked. Unfortunately limited my visit to only two days and one night. But I felt very comfortable and have never been so good at first in a strange bed slept, Grande real Villa Italia as. read more

We stayed in room 438 with view of the pool and ocean. The hotel is in a very quiet location, within walking distance to the center of Cascais ten minutes after several convenient restaurants where it. Outdoor swimming pool outdoor, a bit cool but normal for this time of year. (SPA) indoor, was included in the room rate, sauna and steam room clean. Large breakfast buffet with great selection.
