This hotel is purely for families with children. Unfortunately not for ruheuhe searching. I have at the front desk asked where i the place to peace to have (had only a normal room), this has meant i can in the library to go, he has the manager further-this in turn is only my room number written down, and then not reported. read more

The complex of the hotel was perfect. Unfortunately was the air conditioning in the whole hotel outdated and wasn't able a pleasant room temperature of 20 degrees to produce, neither in the rooms still in the restaurants. The breakfast was a 5 sternehauses not worthy. Very unimaginative and monotonous. The audience stock mostly from japanese, russians and australians. German are barely represented. read more

Hotel has a very well maintained outdoor area, looks thus quite top, when you arrive. Garden a dream, but the 'normal' room rather a nightmare. Who is gladly at night with air dehumidifier annoyed me, then have fun. Can't recommend the hotel. Only saving grace was the always friendly staff! read more

In the course of the time is much about the melia has been written. Nevertheless i would like to comment on our experiences from 17,11.-3,12. 2012 reports. When you arrive the hotel makes a very good impression. A beautiful big garden in the building harmonised. At closer look you noticed however, that time (about 30 years) partly enormously on the substance was noticeable. Clean the hotel is, there is nothing to complain about there. We had (3 adults) a duplex room booked. There not mold nor some odor. The room was comfortable and for 3 people more ... than large enough. But as i have already mentioned, the tooth of the time gnaws, especially in the bathrooms. The breakfast buffet, as well as the dining room are a anelenheit for itself. I must probably first mention that about 50% of the guests asians were, 40% russians (the only by your language noticeable were ), as well as 10% europeans and australians. German could one at 2 hands count. The buffet was the structure of the guests with this in mind. Against you can under these circumstances nothing say. Say you can however some of the quality of the dishes and fruit. Such a low quality in a 5 star hotel we have never experienced something like that. We fly already Approximately 30 years to Asien and therefore have stayed in several hotels stayed. The vast number of asians who were very loud and mostly hectic from here to there ran, the main dining room in a bahnhofsvorhalle cinema. We had mostly however a stilleres spot in the front garden found. The this hotel with lots of conference participants occupied we knew unfortunately vohrher not. Because there were a lot of on and departures at any time of the day with the appropriate responses. Over the staff, in whatever capacity we can only good things to say. The melia has the most beautiful and largest beach section of all the 5 stars hotels at this bay. Linked by a beautiful road at the beach, you can all hotels visit. Melia is however also the only hotel the his guests, no matter, wether at the pool or at the beach 'cement loungers' offers. There is 1 towel on presentation of a card and that was it. Only the guests the villas have cushions on the chairs. We have never experienced something like that. Right next to the melia there is the hotel 'the laguna '. We have this hotel often visited and a wonderful place to eat, as well as wonderful ice and prima cakes enjoyed. The hotel has 5,5 star and offers everything in all, a quality the far over level of the hotel melia lies. The hotel 'the laguna' costs circa 30 Euro more than the hotel melia. Five star are for the hotel melia not appropriate, a reaction of the tour operator would be for customers very desirable. read more

This hotel has a very nice garden area, the rooms are big enough, clean and beautiful. In the rooms is the humidity slightly higher, as in most tropical countries, this did not disturb us. Positive is the directly at the beach where loungers are available. The breakfast buffet was very diverse and good. For dinner we are always in the Bali Collection gone which only approximately 5 minutes out from the hotel is. The restaurants in the hotel are unfortunately overpriced. We would definitely book the hotel again! read more

Were with the hotel satisfied people were all friendly even without tip. The prices in the hotel were very expensive so that we only once in the hotel ate. Circa 10 minutes footpaths there was a village where you cheap food could. Unfortunately we were sea a bit disappointed there were hardly any water even at high tide we could not swim. At the front desk there was German sprechentes staff the very helpful was. The breakfast was very good something there for everyone. The hotel it can to nothing for it if the guests think only of oneself so ... it happened often that you couldn't sleep at night. read more

We had merely booked with breakfast included, which for any taste always something had to offer. The guest structure, as well as the average age were very mixed.     The rooms are attractive and comfortable. Everything is clean and tidy. However the bathrooms but the age of the hotel acknowledged. They are not the current standard of a good hotels. However there is also some rooms, the already being upgraded suites. Every room but has tv, balcony, mini bar, terrace or balcony, safe and telephone.

    We mostly outside of the hotel eaten, as the surrounding restaurants much reasonably priced, but very appealing. We had but also a festive dinner in one of the hotel-restaurants and it was unique. The food was of a good quality and very nicely prepared. A staff was very alone for our welfare and everything was lovingly decorated. The atmosphere was paradise and was felt all around comfortable. We tipped depending on the situation and employees distributed. Sometimes there were only about 0.50 Euro for the barman or for the food then perhaps also 5,- Euro.

    The staff are in any case and everywhere exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We would like to particularly arianta mention, the us after a brief presentation directly always with our name spoken and everything done has, to the vacation it was pleasant for us to make. Some of the staff spoke even a little German, but with English one came in any case well. The cleaning of the rooms was always without complaint. We have a doctor needed, since our daughter shortly before return flight over earache complained. This we could then immediately in the hotel visit and he gave us expert and friendly helped us.     The pool is very nice designed and there were in any case enough free loungers for us (we were at least 4 persons) available. Every day there was various sporting activities, as water aerobics, water polo etc. There was also a kids club, but we did not need it. It sags but everything was nice. Access to the internet can for a few Euro on the day. There are shops in the aforementioned Bali Collection center or in Nusa Dua. The much larger selection has one however in Kuta or in ubud.

    The hotel is directly at the beach, however you can only at high tide in the sea baden, which means, that you to cool off, where appropriate, the pool to use. Restaurants there is within walking distance a few just round the corner at the beach along or in a few minutes to reach on foot in the Bali Collection center or in Nusa Dua. To Kuta one drives with the taxi for around 6 to 7 Euro about 20 minutes there is purchase-/ entertainment possibilities everything. Excursions over the island you can everywhere case book economically. ( car with driver for the whole day 40,- Euro)

The hotel is a massive complex from the late 80. Years, the also on the 2. view not convinced. The rooms are in very bad condition, what amongst others on the air conditioning the fact is, the humidity and a muffgeruch in all the rooms leaves. The rooms are generally more or less clean, however leaves for example the breakfast area to be desired. Here the tables of the guests only with a dry towels wiped, what entails, that partly so very sticky, that the cutlery at the table feast depends. The types of people are rather mixed, whereby but ... clearly the russians and the australians mostly. read more

    We were first in a duplex suite, this however only one night spend. The whole room after mold smell, everything was damp, the pillows and lampshades were mildewed. In the bathroom dripped water from the outlet of the toilets, the fittings were calcified, under the bed was a thick layer of dust. In the bathroom you also met on bugs and flower boxes were full of cigarette butts. On a complaint us a vergleichszimmer with exactly the same problems shown. Only on pressure and hard negotiations in our opinion we were in a lagoon access suite upgraded. But also this we had are charged. The lagoon access rooms are the more beautiful room in this hotel. However we must say, that for their age (only 2 years old) also quite run-down are. The couch was missing blinds, in the bathroom was lime, the taps were leaking, the chairs at the pool were broken, the sun screen was dirty and from the anchoring torn.

    The staff's hospitality is not with other hotels in Bali comparable. As we were on the same vacation yet in another hotel on Bali experienced are, we can really from experience speak. Close to the hotel is the shopping center Bali Collection, where you eat out and shop can. The prices are for balinese standards already rather high. We are often with the taxi to seminyak dangers, because it was just better.

Start of our 2 weeks Bali vacation in the melia Bali, afterwards further to ubud and seminyak \u263a After our arrival in Bali we were very warmly welcomed! At the front desk there was also a welcome drink! The check in was very efficient! We had a duplexsuite, room number 2407! In the entrance area was a small anteroom, toilet, the living area with a flat screen tv and balcony. On the upper floor was the big bathroom with a bath and the sleeping area with four-poster bed and flat tv \u263a the bed was great comfortable! At the breakfast ... buffet are the guests with balinese sounds received \u263a one gets a table assigned and shall be accompanied. Also here were all very pleasant. Coffee and tea were brought, the service worked very quickly, sometimes a bit too quickly \u263a breakfast area is huge, more than ample and something for everyone! Fruit juices were fresh and very good! The whole complex is quite extensive and very well-kept! At the pool there were animation (with a board when which take place). Hardly which of the entertainment notice, which we pleased, because despite animation can relax! It was never crowded and you always had a place on the chairs had, as well as also at the beach! The beach was very clean and quiet! There were also beach vendors, but not pushy at all were. If you at the beach to the right goes, there are close to the resort a few shops where you fresh fruits to buy can and also which eating and drinking. Nor a bit further the pirates bay, a nice restaurant with seating possibility in the trees and with great food \u263a In case you want a walk on the beach has, one goes from the pirates bay still a bit further and then to the water blowen! Worth seeing: barong dance, kräuterfarm, pura besakih (golden temple), batur & gunung kawi (lake and volcano), tempelbesichtigungen, rice paddies, pura ulu watu (tip: in combination with Jimbaran when sunset). Really recommendable is a trip to Jimbaran beach near sunset and great dinner (fish & Seafood) and before the temple pura ulu watu (be careful here just before the frechen gang ) \u263a We would book the hotel again and can definitely recommendable! read more

It is a massive hotel complex with an obvious klassenunterscheidung! We were in the book extra pointed out definitely a deluxe room to book, since the superior category bad. What the differences are, is I however mysterious ( rooms have we altogether 3 times changed, including was also a superior room). The hotel is already somewhat older, but on the first view very clean and well maintained. One sees however closer, one discovers numerous shortcomings. The painters were daily and have efficient all black spots again tucked away! Mold was also in the pool area enough to find. Our first ... room smelled like an old cellar, there were over the bed on the ceiling wet stains, the ceiling in the bathroom there was moldy and around the air conditioning was also mold. 'gardenview' has not really to be heard, since around' garden' is. Our second room was from the condition better groomed and behind the two deserted palms was already the road, accordingly according to. The 3. Room we got with müh and not (!) as Übergangsraum until we to the airport were brought. It was loud statement the front desk a superior room and was no better/much worse. Cleaned reasonably thorough. We only booked with breakfast. The guests were mixed, however were the numerous meetings with attached guests a little scary. Many chinese/japanese, lots of spaniards. There were some families and isolated couple. All very inconsiderate in regard to their environment. Also the hotel itself is very badly soundproofed what the relaxing sleep conditionalities left.     Rooms are nice, if you get a suite is! This us also offered ( nevertheless supposed everything is full) to 100 American Dollar per night and nose. The size our garden view deluxe was adequate. Also the balcony was large enough. The bathroom had also a good size. Our shower was broken and also the klospülung dripped. Air conditioning we have attempted to avoid, but it worked. Minibar was available, but so loud that I dearest have not (in all the 3 room).

    There was a notice of the agreement (5 piece) restaurants on the grounds described. There was a japanese restaurant, the restaurant by the beach and one of the only as members were allowed. The beach restaurant as picture divided into' pool bar' there the waiters also complete by the pool rotate and a tapas bar the bar represents. In the final outcome everything is the same. The dishes were partially good, on the quality may we nothing bad to say, it was in our opinion reasonable. The prices are however more than exaggerated. A small Cola, a large beer ( local beer), a pizza margaritha-was and spaghetti carbonara came on good 45 Euro. It was the five star hotel then out. Bettina found the pool to every day dirty, the tables were only half-hearted cleaned and the 2-3 cushions in the non-members area were also extremely dirty. The breakfast area was also very unpleasant, there was a corner for deep-fry the ingredients, thus there was a strong fog and an unpleasant odor. Apart from that the breakfast was rather a lunch, if you like it is safe varied. But the on the island many fruits grow, there was for breakfast very little. The pancakes were to second day very good, as I saw how the lady at the dough sneezed and nevertheless continue as if nothing has happened. The outdoor tables were hard to get and sometimes came an unpleasant odor the brunner herübergeweht. The atmosphere is as in a schulaula, noisy, uncomfortable.

    The staff's hospitality was exaggerated played, what you not later than second day noticed. A lady at the front desk spoke a little German, which we found very good! The cleaning of the rooms was basically ok. Sometimes there was a towel, or times soap, or the towels were also not at all changed, although this on the floor. Also the mirror was not always cleaned. The handling of complaints is more than just bad. You can tell the staff at the reception correctly at annoyed as they were. We could the room change, but that was with a long waiting time at the front desk connected. At check in we had around a late -check out asked. The president said, it is not a problem at all, we are a day before departure still time. Afterwards it was the large problem. After endless discussions we got then nevertheless a room. On the one hand has been said, the hotel was fully booked, but you could a room if you 15 American Dollar per hour paid! The service at the beach restaurant ( as altogether 3 restaurants described, is however in the final outcome only one) was nicely laid out, the staff also with the feigned friendliness mistake. One good tip they were pushy, they gave none it was the end of the queue.

    We didn't take advantage of the sports facilities on offer. One daily already for breakfast interrupted a spa offer to buy. The ladies there were really not suffering daily to questions. At the way to the beach then all the paths from the 'water sports offered' besieged. Also there is a conversation involute then find that it is the water sports,. The beach was cleaned daily. The outside area in general was always very clean kept. The loungers see optically very good, but extremely uncomfortable.     It is a massive hotel complex with an obvious klassenunterscheidung! We were in the book extra pointed out definitely a deluxe room to book, since the superior category bad. What the differences are, is I however mysterious ( rooms have we altogether 3 times changed, including was also a superior room). The hotel is already somewhat older, but on the first view very clean and well maintained. One sees however closer, one discovers numerous shortcomings. The painters were daily and have efficient all black spots again tucked away! Mold was also in the pool area enough to find. Our first room smelled like an old cellar, there were over the bed on the ceiling wet stains, the ceiling in the bathroom there was moldy and around the air conditioning was also mold. 'gardenview' has not really to be heard, since around' garden' is. Our second room was from the condition better groomed and behind the two deserted palms was already the road, accordingly according to. The 3. Room we got with müh and not (!) as Übergangsraum until we to the airport were brought. It was loud statement the front desk a superior room and was no better/much worse. Cleaned reasonably thorough. We only booked with breakfast. The guests were mixed, however were the numerous meetings with attached guests a little scary. Many chinese/japanese, lots of spaniards. There were some families and isolated couple. All very inconsiderate in regard to their environment. Also the hotel itself is very badly soundproofed what the relaxing sleep conditionalities left. The garden is very nice!

    The location is probably matter of taste. Nusa Dua is of course not the typical Bali. The beach was of the pool in 2 minutes reachable ( provided you found a way where one was not raised). The way to/from to the airport were about 30 minutes (thus also from and to the noise the aircraft on the complex to hear). About 7 minutes path was the Bali Collection. Some shops and restaurants. The prices the shops are overpriced but it mostly ' marktware ' is. The restaurants offer to 98% the same meals. But they were generally good and half the cheaper than in the hotel. Unfortunately is before restaurant at least 1 waiter the a tried to convince to eat there. By third day you want to just more loud screaming run away to worse to prevent. The shops in the hotel we didn't use, I believe there were 4 piece. The entertainment possibilities in the hotel we didn't use as these mostly with overpriced buffet in connection goods or only for members subanalysis were (you could then as onlooker of the far a picture of the account).

In statement, and the housekeeping to expecting tip back. No late check-out possible, although not fully. You ask 15 Dollar via hour, even if you as we at o'clock only ... arrived. You can breakfast and half board book. The guests are mostly families and couple. Lots of spaniards, at the weekend australians, lots of russians and chinese.     For a five star hotel very bad. Maximum 4 stars. The most rooms smell foul. The lighting systems only partially. In all the rooms in which we were (3 times changed, so 6 room seen) was a bit broken. The shower did not work. The washbasin was torn out. The broken and the nails stood out. The patio door from the outside to open. The lagoon room are very nice. However in the price-performance -proportion completely overpriced. The whole complex is already older, which shows. The photos on the website are not true and are gehübscht.

In 2 weeks breakfast buffet we have daily the same meals get selection. The fruit was every day watermelon, pineapple and papaya. 1 time banana 1 times salak. In a country before exotic fruit overflows, actually unimaginable. The staff is unhygienic. Sneezes and cleans up the hands in the pants from. Removes a wound bird from the restaurant and serves us the food without hands wash. The prices are for the offer a absolute insolence!

    The staff are only conditionally friendly. There is tip exaggerated and pushy. Apart from that very slow and slow. Great, well-kept, but really big hotel area. It will be several restaurants (grill, asian, italientisch etc.) Offered, in which one can eat very well. The beach bar with daily happy hour for lunch and dinner, great cocktails. The beach and the pool are very well maintained - in the sea one can go swimming however only at high tide. With a small walk you can reach the nearby shopping center and several restaurants, as well as souvenir shops. A great hotel, so you definitely recommendable can! read more

    We booked only breakfast. This was very various. However very asian oriented (this was for breakfast took some getting used to but delicious!). Omelets and fried eggs were freshly prepared. Little european food (3 sorts of jam, no for example honey or Nutella - we have however also not expected). Breakfast room just a cafeteria, we always ate outside, because it was quiet. The organisation was very special-often tables were double (so we suddenly with full plates before us the assigned, in the meantime, however, newly occupied table...). The food the pool restaurant is very expensive (for example 10€ for a straightforward piece of pizza, 9 €for a sandwich). There is also special offers (two pizzas for the price of a). You can eat very well and heedlessly (disease) in the Bali-collection (cheap and very tasty). There costs one dish from 4 Euro. With before and dessert one comes with 10 €and appropriate requirements well. Respect in Jimbaran! There i was, despite the recommendation of TUI, ecoli -bacterias!. 5 days the holiday were there...

    Leaves much to be desired. Though always friendly and tried, however only apparently. I was 5 days ill (ecoli-bakterien), but this is not the hotel management interested, still seemed the staff to such incidents to be prepared. 'diätessen' is nil return. The staff is very difficult with being understood for alternativessen sickness. Room service costs in this case, extra! Absolutely with the reisgesellschaft for repayment in advance clarify! At the pool bar the staff is very slow. If something not fully understood, it was ignored-one got then no food or service (drinks, towels...)... Room cleaning was only superficial and superficial. Mold found everywhere in the room (on smooth bodies, the slightly abwischbar would have been! For example soap dish). Despite daily fresh bed sheets were the bed always damp. Also the air conditioning did not their purpose.

    Directly at the beach, around 10 to 15 minutes away from the airport, 5 -minute walk from the Bali Collection, very nice and well-kept beach, which around the hour cleaned (at least after gezeiteneinbruch ), taxis at any time to be met, but the blue tax choose, other gambling from or are from the beginning too expensive! Definitely price before setting! Nusa Dua is very clean and also many native one of the most beautiful and most expensive regions Bali.

Large, loud family hotel with the charm a 4-star -all inclusive-hotels in Turkey. Breakfast room with cafeteria character. Not everyone can sit outside. Hectic, loud everything we wanted. Food and drinks strong overpriced! Quality reasonable. Loungers without cushions. ( not Normal for 5 stars, or?) We have this year a small Bali-round trip and three times the hotel changed. The two previous hotels ( Bali Reef Resort and Bali Lovina beach) were far more our needs (small facilities, beautiful pool, good food at reasonable prices). Especially Lovina beach in North is dreamlike and very recommendable! For families with small children ... ( Kindergarten, primary school) there is definitely no bad hotel, however there is this performance for much less money in Turkey. Our son is 12, he enjoyed it really good like, was however the two other hotels far more impressed. Relax we could all three in this hotel unfortunately not. Unfortunately! read more

This hotel was a very good start (5 days) for our honeymoon. The service, food and hotel complex is really great and perfect to relax. Unfortunately is Nusa Dua not the right Bali and you can tell that everything only on the tourists and one little from country and people easier. For us the most beautiful hotel in Bali. We stayed at this hotel 9 times and have all in all almost one year the room size in hotel Melia Bali-the alone shows how this hotel and its staff will appreciate. Please note guests! Unfortunately there are no longer in the blue card. As everyone other guest must be 50.00 dollars now per day for this great extra service beds. We have therefore with a heavy heart determined in future go somewhere else. read more
