The complex of the hotel is very nice, and very well-kept and also very clean. The staff are friendly and courteous. I work myself in 5 stars hotels/ ships and was a little shocked about the service. On the day of our arrival, we were to eat of a to the other restaurant skillfully. We booked full board we knew that there nearby nothing is offered. The biggest disappointment was the lunch, you should not fully - but only half board book. The first week we had directly at the beach eaten and the staff not agreed on, if we-and main course or only main course and dessert. It's not appealing dazusitzen and the waiters is not agreed. The 2. week ... we had only lunch buffet from 12:30 until 14:30 o'clock. We are in all times since but had the choice of 3 meals only half found not regularly restocked. The selection was only embarrassing. We didn't expect much but this was with not available exceeded.
The beach for swimming is exactly 5 meters wide then the reef separated for the boats to the beach along drive-at ebb-tide even less. After a long flight and about one-hour drive by bus we had immediately after our arrival at the Hilton Maritius the feeling, probably in paradise to have landed. In september 2012 we were in this hotel and have spent our honeymoon over there.
Normally we have more often something to criticize and were skeptical at first, but this time it was simply only a magnificent vacation and we enjoyed every moment enjoyed! The area is wonderful laid out, complicated, paradise and very green. On arrival the manager with the words' all you have to do is relax '-that is exactly what you here in detail do! From the start as particularly positive us the service and the warm, unobtrusive friendliness of the staff noticed. You have the feeling ..., that the staff a real pleasure, the vacation make it as pleasant as possible!
The food was very diverse and of high quality, we have but also gladly times the asian and mediterranean theme restaurants try.
We can absolutely recommend, itself a rental car and the island itself to explore -the offered excursions are quite expensive and even in the most remote mountain regions are the people friendly and helpful. Especially we can recommend parasailing on the i'le aux cerfs and zip line in casela zoo, you will be on a tightrope over creeks and just fun!
Definitely should use the water sports of the hotel; dolphin-, snorkel- and glasbodenboottouren were always a wonderful experience.
Of course the price of drinks quite expensive, so was our view very nice bar evenings rather little used. On the other hand one is in a star hotel and it shows now times also in the drink prices. Then we went to the wine changed, the is recommendable and not too expensive!
The beach section is not very wide, but we really enjoyed that, it is located on the right next to water and almost the feeling, this paradise only for itself to have.

This hotel leaves nothing to the imagination. Excellent service, great quality.
The hotel has a really beautiful garden area, the daily several staff maintained.
These include the beach the clean, however constantly new Corals anspült. Bathing shoe are recommendable and if you want to swim should tide make, since the water otherwise also after 100 meters only hip-high is.
The food is varied and has five stars standard. I would also like to mention is the wonderful food location on pond with piano music and singing. The beverage prices are as already written was quite high.
The in-house Bootshaus offers ... dolphin tours, water skiing, catamaran, Windsurfing at no charge. Which recommendable are. Next to the Bootshaus are diving, where my PADI course did.
As an excursion destination recommends a tour in the South, where wonderful green landscapes, volcanoes, waterfalls, a rum factory and shopping are. We enjoyed the tour with a good taxi. 100 €, for 8 hours and German Sprachführung.
Altogether we had a wonderful vacation we absolutely recommend could. read more

The hotel is wonderful and very well maintained, hotel room very clean and modern.
We had the half board normally range but now and then would al not bad, drinks and snacks to lunch not cheap-more expensive than at us, thus it considers you well, whether half board or al!
The breakfast and the dinner is each evening themes (italian, african and so on)
Is always in buffet form and tasted delicious.

The whole hotel complex is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. Sadly the serenity somewhat too briefly. On the basis of hotel description we assumed, the hotel is rather something for couples and less for families. Unfortunately, there were many families with small children locally (also at the travel time were). The peace during the meal times and by the pool was greatly disturbed.
Also we were a little shocked by the behavior some guests at the buffet. The had little with decency to do, but the hotel is not to blame for that.
At the beach it was ... so far completely quiet. The staff the beach bar brought drinks and snacks on request to the beach (of which were sufficiently available). The swimming area in the sea through a Bojenkette characterized. This was unfortunately not so large. Behind it one could snorkeling, had to however on the motor care. Some of the ' masters' were more busy, with decent speed the vacations to impress, as on the people in the water to eighth. We think, that the food is a very important part of the vacation that is why we were taking from this hotel with a great name Hilton very disappointed. In the last three days we have therefore on the food in the hotel and in one of the restaurants in FLIC en FLAC where we never been disappointed and for a very moderate prices. In the hotel you pay for the food for a 0.1 CL ... converted eight euro and table red wine was the cheapest. We will not stay and this was only at the food. read more

We stayed in this hotel in the last week of October as the grand Mauritian was burned to the ground. It is in order. The staff was very friendly, and not just because of the tips. The room was nice and very clean. The tv is not much to see (only second channel of German television). The breakfast was perfect, delicious croissants and everything what you like. The dinner was in buffet form. Although every night a different theme (French, Italian, creole, Indian, coconut), there is always something to find, at least pizza and pasta. Beautiful beach, water sport for ... free. Two free bottles of water per person per day: in the morning on the beach (if you get there) and in the evening in the room. Every day there was a free fruit kebab. Drinks expensive: coke MUR 140, cappuccino MUR 150, cocktails Mur 330-360, large glass of beer from 18:30 to 20:30 MUR 300 happy hour, then it is good. Pizza on the beach: 20 euro! Guests structure mixed. We had mostly sunny weather, no rain, about 28 degrees. Perfect Weather! Really recommendable! read more

We had a fantastic holiday in the Hilton resort & SPA in Mauritius and from the first day we felt completely comfortable! The Hilton Mauritius just everything: the location directly at a fine sandy beach with enough beach chairs and umbrellas, a beautiful and well-tended garden area, large, comfortably furnished and clean rooms, very good and varied food (for example, Asian, Indian, kreolisches buffet) and above all hotel employees, with its charming and warm the way the really special thing about this hotel is. The drinks were (as in other reviews already mentioned) generally quite expensive, but you should also ... mention fair, the Vista bar from 18:30 to 20:30 a happy hour is, during which one for cocktails, beer and other drinks 50% pays less. There was a really tasty cocktail for example about 5.50 €. And if you want to wait until then, from 17:00 until 18:30 drink at the standard beer also for half. We can only recommend the hotel and would definitely go even back in the future. read more

Great hotel area, very well-kept and clean. Hotel director who is German (Gisela, very nice). Their staff is extremely friendly and speaks good English.
The food is good and varied (theme buffets in the evening). Only: the drinks are very expensive (cheapest bottle 27 Euro, beer seven euro). The drink is a luxury! It is worthwhile itself, by taxi to FLIC en FLAC in the supermarket (taxi waiting in the parking lot, back and forth about ten Euros).
Great SpA and sports facilities. Kayaks, sailboats, Pedal boats, water skiing, snorkelling equipment included. Diving school attached, three dives about 125 euro ... is cheap. Diving spot so la la, you get to know everyone better. For the beach shoes are essential (corals, sea urchins)! read more
