The hotel is central in westerland located. It is located directly at the beach, and to the shopping street, which the activities very easy. In the hotel there was a friendly and comfortable atmosphere and we could the vacation enjoy. read more

A great hotel what very centrally located is, to the beach or to the main shopping street ( Friedrichstraße) there is just a few meters. The hotel itself has a small but fine sauna and a wellness area, there is also a well-stocked wine bar, not to forget the very good breakfast was left no wishes unfulfilled. The staff are very friendly and helpful. read more

Nice front desk; very small but nice equipped, very good equipped and clean rooms with new bathroom (small shower); very good breakfast with long times for late risers; very nice, new, very small sauna area,; very friendly staff; chic small wine bar; parking for 8 Euro fee

we had for our short trip to westerland for the hotel dunes castle decided. We met a very clean House with about 50 rooms at. We had one double and a single room with breakfast booked. The reception was very friendly. There were only a few guests there is, indeed, this is the time of our trip: the beginning December. This is a very good hotel quiet time, which we really enjoy. read more

Small tip to the hotel management: for a four stars hotel it would be good, if a 'domestic' there would be, for example, brings the bags to the room. Also the 'Hotel' (only starting from 18:00 o'clock) should be considered. A somewhat larger lift wouldn't be bad. It is incomprehensible to hell, why the breakfast in the hotel bar can smoke, but not at other times (I am non-smoking). But otherwise a good hotel with a good price/performance ratio. Can only be recommended (but highly recommended: 'not over hrs. Book'). read more

Once a year is girls meeting on Sylt and this year the hotel dünenburg 'elected'. It is hundred % Central, not far to the beach, around the corner are the friedrichstr and Leysieffer is a stone's throw away. The front desk was nice, the rooms functional and clean and the breakfast was very extensive and nicely presented. The complaints of other travelers, this hotel had a negative review, we cannot subscribe. Okay, the sauna is from five persons a bit cramped, but hardly used and more (we were with us in the three hours) and no chairs on the balcony ... there was a table, you could complain about, but perhaps the time of year. Unfriendly ladies at the front desk also we couldn't permanent job, although five women with different ideas certainly not always easy to handle are, -). Since it is definitely on, as one called in the forest, one has which requirements. If you want to stay Sylt central and good, this is true. read more

Central hotel with many flaws! At the front desk is stress, no opened To listen to anything. Room could have been cleaner but otherwise very nice!
The highlight is the breakfast! You must be at least three questions in order to find something. Coffee is very thin and tea water cold, cold cuts some kinds of plentiful if you get anything else you in response: does not exist! Unless you ask Auszubildenen. One morning we had the luck and there was everything! On the same day was waiter Kai there; it was even hot scrambled eggs and fried eggs!
Nice ... wine bar with great wines in the evening and so on
If you don't too much from the service ok.
The management should definitely with the breakfast lady was carefully nothing to start the day. read more

For a short break of sylt this hotel is perfectly suitable.
With the central location is in westerland very flexible, because pedestrian area, convenience store, beach and sylter wave are only a short walk reachable.
Also the rooms are for a short trip absolutely satisfactory. Positive the condition of the bathroom and the nice flat-screen, the paper thin walls!
The breakfast is quite nice and varied, but it lacks the population-in other words, if it until eleven o'clock Breakfast, you should also provided free choice. The bakery items very convincing!
All in all, this hotel is for a short break ... highly recommended! read more

Overall, we were very disappointed. Especially the breakfast which was quite annoying. It was almost nothing to enough and therefore the guests had to fight the meats. Very poor! Next time we will certainly visit another hostel! read more

The front desk and the service during our stay was very welcoming. Our special thanks goes to commissioner silent, within the framework of our arrangements in the evening with hot herbal tea fed. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The breakfast offers a wide Selection. The immediate Proximity to the beach, as well as to the shopping promenade are a further plus point. Unfortunately, we did the Wellness Field value, and therefore ... not judge. This hotel we would again and again gladly again. read more

Very nice hotel directly at the Thompson countries main beach (about 2-3 minutes walk). Just around the corner from the popular but also busy Friedrichstrasse. It is, if you have a window to the street noisy in the evening and at night, but for me, it was fine, as I'm a beach and city hotel. Peace had but rather a room in Sylt-east.
Transportation to and from the hotel is very good. The single rooms are very small, but very clean!
The breakfast buffet didn't leave anything to be desired, I have to be honest we have rarely had so ... much diversity and there will always be 'fresh' covered.
The age structure was rather 40 and up (thus was at least during the time of my stay. Sunday.).
But all in all, I would go back again! read more

The hotel is very centrally located and is of the high street 50 meters away and only to the beach promenade, there are only a few meters.
At the outside casing was just some work, unfortunately, because parking is not many available and often by Fremdparker, simply put across the occupied.
The room was not too big, but big enough and very clean.
Complaints about the breakfast buffet we couldn't understand. Everything was available and was constantly refilled. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
on the food we couldn't say anything, since there is only a small Card is ... available. We ate outside.
Since some of the reviews were not so good, we went with a bit of mixed feelings. But we loved it and if we go back to Sylt we will visit this hotel again. read more

I was four nights in the hotel dunes castle. Upon arrival, I was unfortunately not helped with our luggage and I dragged my luggage alone the stairs highly.
The single room is small number 32, but everything was available: tv, safe, a table and chair, desk and a sufficient cabinet. The bed was absolutely comfortable. The breakfast room is very comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. Everything was there, muesli, different bread rolls and breads, cheese, meats, fish and fruit. In the afternoon you can enjoy coffee and cake, which I but not from the front desk, but ... from other guests have said. The wellness area I didn't use. It is 1 minute to the pedestrian zone in and two minutes from the beach. All in walking distance nearby and highly recommended with good conscience. read more

We felt very comfortable and will happily return. For the air conditioning in the dining hall should be searched for an alternative solution, as the guests sit on the mostly require turned off because it too cold and the dining room then quickly to very heated. read more
