The hotel Doubletree Cariari is a very nice and tidy complex nearby of the flugahfen San Jose' s. we have the hotel as an airport hotel used. It is located about 15 minutes away by car from the airport. The breakfast was tasty and diverse. Dinner there was in the à la carte restaurant. There was enough choice and the taste is good. Internet is in the lobby free of charge, and on the rooms for $10 per day available. In the hotel there are amongst others also a tourist information and a gift shop. Even the fitness area was ... 24 hours open. The rooms are massive large and well equipped. Also the bathroom was large enough. Altogether a very beautiful area, I should once again in San Jose will I the complex happy to visit them again. read more

Were 3 nights in this hotel before round trip went. The hotel is approximately 10 minutes on foot from the airport. San Jose center there are about 15 minutes. The hotel is very well maintained, despite proximity to airport and main street very silent and has a very nice pool with enough chairs. rooms are also top and with all ausgestattest that you need. ( especially I would like to highlight the very comfortable beds ). Safe is free in the room. Something overpriced we found especially the drinks ( soft drink or beer from about 6, -American dollar) the ... food is also not very cheap, but from very good quality and Nice prepared. Anything the service at the hotel excellent. It almost everybody employee English. (this is not in every hotel is the case-as our round trip showed) one goes at the hotel to the right comes to approximately 200 meters a supermarket and two( also not much cheaper) eateries. Sport and we didn't go on any excursions since we in the port a round trip did. At check in the credit card to safety a blank deduction made. This is in Costa Rica but in every hotel usual in short: great hotel for 2a 3 nights! read more

We spent a night there. This hotel is very recommendable. The rooms are large and fairly quiet. To the airport it was only about eight kilometer. The taxi costs 8 USD. Aggregate transfer for eight USD per room. This is but not until 9:00 o'clock. The breakfast buffet was extensive. In the evening we ate at the buffet (30 USD per person). High Drink Prices. Restaurants and a supermarket right from the hotel (about 300 meters). read more

The hotel is superb, to go on excursions to undertake. The use of public transport is, in my opinion, not. Also there is a major shopping center nearby. Payment in dollars, highly recommended. Taxis from the hotel call them. read more
