Actually the hotel is very nice. Especially the rooms are very spacious and there is lots of space. The complex is located directly by the sea and nicely laid out. There is a miniature golf course and tennis courts-everything was very well maintained-. For new year's were first of all elderly french guests in the all-inclusive resort but it was also with german was reasonably manage. Altogether they told us, that about 140 guests in the hotel were. Through the relatively small number of guests there were unfortunately not all dining options open. read more

    The room was very good and had plenty of space stuff. A large tv with 4 german channels (ARD, ZDF, VOX, RTL) was available and the room service and the cleanliness were exemplary. The only small downside was, that the room over the abendveranstaltungshalle lag, so we could hear which song was played. However as mentioned it was in the evening not much going on and not long, so that the disturbance as a part of kept.

    As already mentioned unfortunately was only the main restaurant is open. Unfortunately stains the effort to satisfy all the taste of the meals from, so that the most of individual taste is missing. We also had the impression, that the selection by the silvesterzeit a little less. The quality was but okay (regular they for example the temperature checked). Cooks and waiters were always very concerned.

    A bit it was a pity that the reception but clearly under four stars was. So there was no bellboys, we had at check in wait, although we the only were and it were missing at general statements the hotel and the offers (bar, activities, meal times...) So that we at the start a bit disent were. Not all receptionists spoke german. But the waiters the even without giving any tip very friendly were made much again good.

    Despite Club Hotel and animation team gave it almost no animation. The minutes six animators were limited to twice dancing on day 10:00 and 3:00 p. m. and a little smaltalk with the french-speaking guests. Our request for Tennis- and minigolfausrüstung with reference to the entertainment box dismissed, where we then the matter alone had. Evenings there was a little with the guests dancing but nothing listed. But there were plenty of sun loungers at the beach and at the pool (12°c) and whoever wanted relaxation in the sun searches can apart from the occasional noise find. I have from the spa hammam used, but it was with about 9,- € too expensive.

    In the more immediate vicinity there are only three possibilities for shopping and some other hotels. Unfortunately, the nachtbaranlage built, which at times was a little intrusive. With the taxi but you could easily for about 3, -€ after midun or for 5, -€ after houmt souk drive.

We felt very comfortable in this hotel and the mild climate in december us good done. The service at the reception, in the restaurant and also in the bar was always good. On new year's eve and booked all the guests jointly celebrated, with gala dinner and live band, we also really enjoyed. All in all a successful short break. read more

We can only good things to say. Picture book weather the whole week at pleasant temperatures. The between 2009 and 2011 renovated hotel leaves nothing to be desired. Here is' everything ' squeaky clean. Dish and geträkeauswahl are of high quality, the staff are friendly without exception and on the well-being of the guests coordinated. The Riu palm azur deserveth absolutely its 4 *. We have decided that we will be. read more

    The buffets all meals very appealingly designed, tasty, varied and always enough. Perfect hygiene, it is nationaltypically cooked, with a mediterranean or spanish evening (Riu!)     Certainly adequate in the pool area, since we beach tourists are, we can activities hardly data. The beach is very beautiful and cleaned daily, which because of seaweed is, but so is the nature just...! Only the way into the sea really is not recommendable, there are a lot of stones way difficult to impossible. Here is but a small walk to the neighboring hotel to the left, there is the way into the pleasant water easier. Liege, cushions and umbrellas are in sufficient numbers available.

    The rooms are super, the whole decor is very new, flat screen on the wall, receivable was RTL, VOX and ZDF, the beds were really good, we've rarely had such good in a hotel slept, the mini bar was with water bottles filled, new it at the bars or at the front desk, the safe was in the closet, the room would be cleaned daily and was always very clean, after the horror story here partly reads, we were really pleasantly surprised

Whether with or without tip, to us was the staff always friendly. Hotel corresponded our expectations. It is located on the wrong beach, rocky, dirty and stinky seaweed, impossible for swimming to us. Evening entertainment not recommendable, takes place mainly through the entertainers. Recommendable is the trip ' charm the Südens' after Matmata and into the desert. Also the from the hotel offered riding the dromedary to the blue lagoon is very nice. read more

The hotel is from the exterior appearance no massive high rise building ( which Djerba anyway never there). The style I would than modern with maghreb elements describe. Through the continuous grey dunkelbeige color it works from the inside however a bit overwhelming. About half the room have - more or less - view of the sea, the other half goes to the back to the land out. Two points of criticism are here just to name but a few: 1. The hotel isn't, I repeat, not air-conditioned! In any case only partially. All dining areas, as well as the ... lobby were during my stay this' chilled ' has been, that the doors opened and on draught have hoped for it. The created with temperatures of about 30 degrees not always remedy. There is on the rooms an airco, this is however centrally controlled and is every day between and until o'clock (= the hottest time of the day) from! When we this had complained, we were told, that you save electricity wool and that the guests at the time anyway by the pool would be. At our request, at least for the two heat days (temperature 37 to 40 degrees) to derogate from it, it was said, as we have with the ' obermanagement ' the Riu-chain phone, even if such a decision was not meeting. In the remaining the finally yes' everywhere so' (!?!). I felt like I really like the einwohneramt. Changed nothing. My wife has as' compensation ' a massage present, however at the expense of our company and at the instigation of responsible tour operator ( many thanks to A. B. Here!). The hotel had apparently not a problem thus, people in the room in the halbflüssigen condition changed. 2. The hotel is shaped in such a way, that the ocean view rooms a U-shaped form. The evening entertainment but outside instead, directly within the 'U'. You could in a spacious equipped bar rough, but-they have's guess-then we should be this air-condition, because also evenings it was hot. Residents of the sea view rooms were therefore again and again of the pleasure partakers will, until 23-23:30 hours bawling drunk hotel guests with a karaoke evening or similar noisy events listen to us. So two thick cons. From the guest structure everything was represented, no french hegemony to see. The hotel was, as far as seen, only all inclusive. read more

    There was a main restaurant and two extrarestaurants (asiatically/tunisian, with reservation ) for dinner. Lunch was in another restaurant by the beach restaurant, the however rather a kantinengeist breathed. The dishes ( as far as not moldy, see above), were generally tasty and plentiful. I think, there was plenty of choice. Only the cooked water, which one for example for tea, was tap water. This had however a salty taste of, what the tea little enjoyable made (imagine tea with salt!). The waiters were friendly and quick, also without tip. A bar was also there, with reasonably large selection of drinks.

    The staff were friendly, spoke in particular the front desk and the waiters - impressive 5-6 languages, at least what the 'usual' communication regards - and - so well - concerned.     I am not pool person and spent most of the time at the beach; the pool was but big, there was a further and a for children. Animation at the pool took place, but I on the content can't say much about that.     The hotel is in the 'area touristique ', it is around so no 'real' life takes place. There are three shopping center with fixed directly opposite. The prices not so feast are, as the impression it gives you, you just have to the people friendly talk. Beautiful it is also, a impression of the' real' prices to get, not on markets victims of fantasiepreisen to be. Apart from that there is a neighboring hotel directly beside it, otherwise only wastelands obvious. With the taxi for around 2 to 3 Euro to next larger city (midoun), for a little more to the capital houmt souk. The hotel is directly on the beautiful beach. To make two comments: 1. In the water are sharp rock. Bathing shoe are therefore urgently recommended, help the problem but fully from. Always with us were different, grilled fish- and meats. Also for children there was always enough choice of different pasta and pizza-dishes. The Club -animation was very diverse and not pushy. The room had a mini bar, the daily with water refilled and flat screen-tv. Safe and air conditioning are available. On the balcony you could its wet things drying (holder). Chairs and a table are also on the balcony respectively terrace available. The bathroom is large and very clean ( bath tub).

    There is altogether two pool bars, where food and drinks offered and four restaurants ( three à la carte restaurant). The food was very good and the chefs regularly filled up respectively replaced. The restaurants were very clean and every table was cleaned and newly restocked. The food was always very varied. There were theme nights. The atmosphere was good. You didn't feel like in a cafeteria.

    The staff were always very friendly. They could at least french and English and most could speak German, spanish and Italian. Everyday the rooms were were thoroughly cleaned and prepared. Child care in the kids club is between 10:00 A. M. and 5:00 P. M. offered. To complaints was immediately cared.

    It was a wide entertainment program offered. The disco you could in another town. A bus drove from the hotel to the disco and back. Every evening another offered programms. The three pools. ( a shallow pool in the kids club ) were always very clean and heated. Loungers at beach and pool were abundant and were cleaned every morning. Sun screens were to pool and beach always available. The beach is very beautiful. The sea is but partly very rocky and at the entrance to the sea is seaweed, which hotels because of the environment not remove must.

    The hotel is still quite new and very well maintained. It is very big and has a large room capacity. The outdoor facilities are also very well maintained. At nationalities and age groups everything was very mixed.

    To the airport it was about 30 kilometer it runs about an hour, because the hotel usually driven to last. There are shops directly in front of the hotel and a further business is about 200 meters away. The hotel is nearby the lighthouse. Excursions you can both nearby, as well as further away make. Hotel's own beach, as well as share from the neighboring hotel's beach.
