This is a very pleasant old hotel, with lovely decor and tastefully appointed rooms. Wifi connection was included in the room rate, and of a strong signal and speed. read hotel review

The room overall suffers from a general lack of space. Though I can't vouch for all the rooms, for the cost of the accommodation, I was expecting more. There is little room to move around the bed, and even storing luggage was an issue. The bathroom was also frustratingly small and a disappointment.

This was the best breakfast we had during our time in Turkey. Breads, honey, preserves, fresh fruit, including figs, and lot of selection of interesting cheeses. Coffees and Teas made to order, with a selection of fruit juices. Olives mandatory - they were so delicious.

The check in process was easy and pleasant. Staff speak good English and happy to advise on tourism opportunities in Istanbul and Turkey in general.

The common areas are beautifully furnished. There is no pool, though staff will happily point you in the direction of the nearest Hammam (Turkish Spa/Sauna treatment) and highly recommended.

The location is excellent, in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul, which is in very close proximity to the Blue Mosque, and the other attractions in that area, including the Aya Sofia and the Topkapi Palace. We were able to catch a tram from the International Airport, which although slow was convenient.

Lovely hotel, but overpriced archived

It's a lovely hotel in a great area, however, for the price it is a bit much. We also had an issue with the bath leaking water everywhere, which you might expect in a budget hotel, but not a hotel charging premium rates. If we were staying in the area again I'd consider staying here once more, but I would probably explore other options first. read hotel review

Original city hotel to feel good archived

the hotel lies only seconds from the main sights km (blue Mosque, hagia Sophia), so it is perfect for a short break. Furthermore, there was original equipped and gives you (thus, the normal hotel character is missing) a wonderful, informal feel-good atmosphere( fireplace & a library in the entrance area). The rooms are imaginative equipped and you never had the feeling, only for sleeping to be there. Only the bathroom could better done; the long bath at the end makes little sense, a shower and the bathroom would certainly drier. A compliment to the operators of the hotel: very competent ..., friendly and well-prepared answers to all those questions ☺ read hotel review
