Were new year's eve there : restaurants had almost no open, but this hotel has at new year's eve a private celebration offered.

During dinner we met on a claim, overburdened staff. The service was mostly 2 hours in the length, what you most of the time with wait spent. The dishes came partly cold and somewhat dried out on the table. The main courses were no side dishes enough and they were not to our taste. - to 3 days we did on the dinner in the hotel.
At the breakfast buffet there was cold cuts in each case a sort ham and cheese. Lots of space whereas took the wide arranged teabag-sachets a.
On the restaurant-toilet there was no soap a ... soap dispenser.
The hotel we can definitely not recommend. read more

It was a magnificent vacation. We only booked with breakfast. This was typically Italian, so rather scant in comparison to Germany. But - other countries other custom. The hotel is still quite new and very neat. The service and the complete staff were excellent. Despite end of the season drove shuttle bus 3 times per day in the morning and 3 times in the afternoon the various beaches to bring and pick up at. The place itself is well arranged, some shops had also not more open. The gastronomy is very versatile and offers actually something for everyone. In the ... port different boat tours (also feasible-motorized rubber boats - without bootsschein ) offered. These were worth it in any case - various caves and beaches ( super - Karibik similar) started. We had a tour right at the hotel booked, got a lunch box and a grottentaufe in addition, was also reasonably priced as in the port. Whoever wanted to see more should a rental car take, as bus and train ( not at all) rather good. Was also right at the hotel possible. We had a small car for 2 days, which in top condition was. Well, we would immediately go again, it was really great. read more

It was my first vacation alone and I got a double room for single use. Therefore I felt the room as large. Room was very clean and well cared for. At facilities lacked it not.
The cleaning ladies were also very efficient and thorough.
The pool terrace with chairs and so on I thought it was very nice. The view of top to bottom at the sea was also good.
The only things the not so good were the German skills of the staff.
Nobody in the hotel could speak German. However it was also not so bad, since I ... therefore my refresh your English skills could. But if you with English nothing can start it was very hard. The shuttle bus bus driver could not even English.
The food was also nothing special. The selection was good, but nothing exciting there. Liked what you have nevertheless.
The distance to the beach is also far. Every day walk not. And the climbing to the hotel when the temperatures very strenuous. Here one should always shuttle bus use, but not very frequent.
Nevertheless clear recommendation for the hotel, as the luxury the room and so on everything else Overshadowed. read more

It was simply nicer. Very good food. The staff can little English but very friendly and very helpful, that all is well. The hotel is small but very romantic and very good organized. Shuttle bus-service to the beach. Even a recipe of a delicious dinner I get. Cala Golone is a small town with shops, restaurants and a beautiful port. You can have several excursions with the ship to other seaside resorts make. A hired car is of advantage. The sea is a dream. I the hotel can and also the place relaxation- respectively vacation for relaxing only weiterfempfehlen. read more

We were end of August/ beginning September and had luckily only booked breakfast. The hotel has actually potential, as it rather small and nicely decorated, but the still following circumstances are simply not fit, especially not 4 stars! The people the here are enthusiastic, we can really not understand! The had never on vacation? The staff were oK, but if one times smaller issues environment or a way had, only we were told, that one no idea has?! Cleanliness well. read more

Incompetent and unfriendly staff at the reception and partly also in the dining room ( annoyed staff bad any holiday feeling ( after arrival 5 hours waiting time before room ready and were in the boiling heat out-sent, breakfast in the morning still in full swing when we arrived, we were not offered, but would have be paid separately have!) The location is really far away from any civilization. The free hotel shuttle started beaches were dirty and stony and not recommendable, in particular for children! Without rental car it is a complete disaster (we had no!). The only nice ... sardinische man was the driver on the way home to the airport, as the vacation however already past was. read more

The hotel is very beautiful at the mountain slope convenient with a great view of the great countryside Sardinia and the sea. Because one however every time to climb a mountain, to the sea or the village to come. Recommendable is a rental car, around the great Island to explore. At the front desk are fulfilled all expectations. On the first day we had a small advised in the room, but this was quickly fixed and then everything was good for the rest of the vacation. I but also always only a maid in the entire hotel seen, the tidy ... to do. The pool is clean. Chairs are always included sun screen. The food is good, however always lined with seafood. If you don't like that, not too lots of possibilities, as the place to eat. Plenty of idyllic small restaurants right at the waterfront. Everything was in all a great stay. The island is wonderful. read more

Maria branca is a very well maintained building with very friendly staff and really good, delicious food. For breakfast there were amongst others always really super delicious Croissants with different fillings! When we were there breakfast and dinner in buffet form, so everyone could take those, something he wanted to eat. The hotel is ideal for Travelers, who like are traveling, but you should a car rent, best already from at home from. We had directly a from airport Olbia rented. The trip to the hotel was (with a navigation system) really easy, as the first piece initially once over ... the SS125 in the direction South. The hotel had a einebeautiful large terrace, a parking garage, as well as we located a swimming pool against a backdrop of, however for swimmer. From the hotel you can easily by car respectively with a boat, the port Cala gonone leave, deli or to the Bue Marino, a grotto at the sea. For excursions in the immediate area you need a car for example the Grotta Ispinigoli, a vertical cave in Dorgali, to Serra Orrios, a nuraghe or to the archaeological museum in Dorgali. You can but also great from here with the mountain bike in the mountains start, to hikes the Gennargentu mountains or a kayak hire at the coast along paddle and beaches drive. At the hotel there was nothing to complain about!
Super nice staff, that really hard and a warmth of the country, amazing, thanks!
Food was very good, the hygiene rules shall take account and everything was very nicely arranged, the eye eats as well known also;-)
The furnishing of the hotel is very got, lots of marble, lots of light colors to make you feel at ease, outdoor terrace for dining is very nice (especially in the evening, with a glass of wine, palm trees, a view of the sea and romantic lighting!), rooms are very well equipped (Sfae ..., tv, telephone, small balcony, large bathroom with hair dryer and shower, sofa☺
The whole hotel is very clean and tidy!
The pool is very clean (often cleaned) is surrounded by lawn and palm trees and olive trees, lounge chairs, <umbrella/umbrellas, showers and toilets (planned wi8rs a piano to discos and to organise parties), family swimming pool for children and adults.
Bar in the hotel, as well as sitting room with a piano (Friday-Sunday often with pianist). Also, there are good managed by a music artist lessons, very good!

The hotel has only been open for 2008/2009 and has very nice and comfortable rooms. It's located outside the centre of Cala gonone. Without a car, you should definitely not choose! To the nicer beaches you have to drive several miles.
The towels were not changed every day and our dirty towels were taken at several days just and no clean hand towels were given. So we had to at least three times to front desk and the towels even demand. Our beds during a 2-week stay only once changed. The hotel staff spoke hardly any English and was not ... very service or friendliness. The biggest drawback to this hotel is the breakfast. There was only one sort of bread rolls and one sort of cold cuts/cheese to choose from. Furthermore, different was offered, very homogeneous tasting, pastries and cereal. For a short stay you can be well understood, but with a 2-week stay the selection was disappointing and there is no fun at the breakfast on.
Furthermore, the staff is at the Breakfast extremely slow, awkward and listlessly. If the only kind of bread was empty, you have to wait long. Until it was refilled. All in all a hotel, the 4-star definitely deserves. If you can live with the above disadvantages and a reasonably clean and very cheap hotel, you can recommend it. read more

i was only a night the Branca Maria spent (the only opened 2008)-cannot recommend it however sincere.
the hotel is modern, clean and the staff was very friendly.
location is right at the top of the edge of the town of Cala gonone-and the single room, last minute for Euro 40 (the then a double room was) is more than worth the price!
i guess, that it lies about 1 kilometer to the beach-and is really wonderful. Part stone, partly sand and very clean. There is a long promenade with lots of restaurants and bars, a nice little park at ... the end and everything works total well maintained.
the breakfast was for Italian conditions really nice, but unfortunately you had to get the juices and coffee at the The machines.
anyway: all in all, the hotel is more than recommendable, you should have a car, but that should one alone simply because of the beautiful surroundings. read more
