Mmmh ... If you're not interested in entertainment, do not want to be constantly in the pool never felt hassled to those entertainment companies within etc, etc. just right in this hotel ... :) No sports entertainment ... ; ) ...

The location of the hotel was already described in other reviews. It was Generally the room was cleaned well (under the bed and on the edge you weren't allowed to thoroughly). Since the air through the nearby sea very salty you might find appropriate deposits in room and the chairs on the balcony. But they are rather small things. The food (breakfast and dinner) was always the same, although in different variations. (In the morning egg, dry bread rolls etc. , the evening fish, pork, cakes etc. ) ... A variety would have been nice. But it was rather odds and ends. We have become full ... :) What wasn't alright, is the "service". You pay for a beer good money. Also included in the costs can be that one comes ask what you want and the desired will take. No way ... Wait at some point, slippers, the drink to the bar, to the table, wait. and wait drinks. The same goes with the "service" for food. The dishes, that left from other guests, is not cleared away. As "nice" the occurrence of some of the staff in the dining room wasn't what you could call. Unfortunately we had our A. Show ripped off. Apparently the hotel was full. Breakfast was good, but one-sided. The evening meal was ok. Unfortunately the choice is limited. There was always only one type of fish and one type of meat. The replenishment of crockery and food can take a little bit. Fresh fruit and ice cream are on the card but it was not available. When I asked for it, you got gelächtelt unfortunately no response!! A shame. The buffet-corner is too small. Unfortunately no 4 * standard

Depending on who was caught at the front desk, a friendly welcome or annoying. Foreign language skills German was not always given. You should bring a little English. With complaints here, or do not handled very snotty. ( See Room Details )

The beach is about 90 steps down. But walking distance. The price on the beach of beach chairs and an umbrella from 14 € invites you not just returned. The next shopping possibilities it is a good walk. Apart from this, a very quiet location. Nothing to do.

The room was very small and had a view to the dark garden in the courtyard. There was 1 balcony, on the 2 people just were. It wasn't cleaned. There were clean towels every day, but smelled these sometimes a lot of chlorine. The room had a/c including. You have to pay for the safe. As the cleaning lady a forget to lock the balcony door, it is strongly recommended to rent a safe. Although there is a tiny fridge, but no mini-bar. The mattresses were totally worn out and extremely soft - back pain! There was 1 small closet with a few hangers for 2 people. As the closet smelled musty, we hardly used this out of your suitcase" and "lived. A shame, since you are in a 4 star hotel not like that sort of will be shut down. The bathroom was very light and relatively large. But there were hardly cleaned. Furthermore, it was - as the wall-mounted tissues box was empty to simply folded out and a roll of toilet paper placed soon. This box was very dirty. This is as mentioned in not a 4 star standard. Most negative to rate is that the water in the shower didn't drain and everywhere, in shower, fittings or sink, scale.

There was 1 restaurant, 1 bar and a snack bar by the pool area. We have booked the hotel incl. breakfast. There is a large selection of different bread rolls, but all tasted as if they had been aufgebacken not ready. The strawberry jam tasted musty and has also looked accordingly. The following replentished with 1. Round washed in the kitchen, but sometimes still leftovers on the Glasrändern and were still wet. To the odd tasting Semmelvariationen there was pre-packaged, fatty sausages. (That you prepacked, on the high gloss seen unappetizing. ) There was pre-packaged cheese slices, scrambled eggs with and without the ham, baked beans, bacon, fried ham, fried champignons and baked tomatoes. In the restaurant only serves breakfast and dinner. The evening buffet costs 28 Euros per person. so we never used it. Please note: evening there's no food a la carte! At lunch you could eat at the snack bar in the pool area. However it was very overpriced. Spaghetti Bolognese for 9 , - €. A magnum ice cream cost 3 Euros instead of, - like everywhere in the place about €1.50 . Tip: for lunch in the main downtown (approx. 10-15 minutes) to eat. The hotel has no room service way.

The staff was very friendly and endeavored. The reception staff could speak at least English, some also German. Positive hervorzuhebender service: free towels for the pool area, which you could get from the front desk. Deductions from the Guest Services, there are clearly in the room cleaning as the room was barely cleaned were. From a 4 star hotel, the appropriate room rates may require as a guest, I would expect at least a clean room.

There is no activities offered. However the pool area was very nice. There were enough beach chairs and umbrellas included. Additional free towels for the pool area are available from the front desk. Over some small stairs takes you directly to the beach. Very convenient: to relax after the beach right in the pool area should shower.

All in all it is a well arranged hotel with 3 floors. Guests are mostly young and older couples from England and Germany between mid/end of Twenty to about 60 . There were no kids in the area. So it was very peaceful. The hotel is, in my opinion not 4 star - also in the category of the country is less then 2-3 stars. Although outside it makes a good impression, however, with the rooms substantial deviations regarding location. They had rooms with terrace and private pool chairs and rooms with balcony and sea view (some of). We had a very small room with a view of the dark garden in the inner courtyard, didn't use it. The room wasn't cleaned, the mattress was extremely soft which you got back pain and the shower did not drain. Learn more about this below in the Zimmerbewertung.

The hotel is in a great location. The airport was about 45 minutes. There are about 20 minutes walk from the hotel from a Intermarché (big supermarket). The lovely beach was just a short flight of stairs from the pool area. Along the beach walk to town center. Although it is very touristy and not very nice, but there are several good restaurants. Get the best at the hotel reception the map of "Freemaps". Here are some restaurants with descriptions. Tip: go into the Hera-restaurant. Very fresh fish and great friendly service! As opportunities for employment in Armacao De Pera were very limited, you should plan excursions with the rented car. We booked our rental car already in Germany. It is cheaper than the local travel agency to book and stress free. Tip: the "loop" of Praia da Praia do Amado Bordeira to leave. (Pontal/Carrapateira). Very impressive rock formations and huge, very nice beach.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The standard include a refrigerator, air conditioning, television. Every day there was shower gel and shampoo in bottles. The bathroom has a hair dryer

The pool bar is not recommendable were the rates are too high and offer are not that big here. You may then go to the beach which is adjacent to the hotel. The range of food at breakfast and dinner was very good. Prices for wine but again very expensive.

The staff was very friendly and always accommodating. Some of the staff spoke also spoke German, but with English you making progress.

There were always free beach chairs available at the pool. Since there was no entertainment in the hotel, there it was very quiet at all times. The place to relax

The rooms were much too narrow too small. Due to the absence had to counter all things and luggage on the floor, so that only small track was possible. The tiles on the floor were badly damaged. The fresh air of the room through the narrow balcony window was hardly possible. Sleeping with an open window was impossible as a thousand birds on the trees and palm trees in front of the hotel were picking. Moreover, the rooms were very clairaudient.

The food and drinks at the entire village were offered to rip-off price. So we paid for a 0,4 l beer up to SIMILARLY Euro. The cheapest pizza started at 7 Euro. All rates made up for a first class restaurant. The quality of the fish was unique delicious, as always fresh fish was brought to our room. typical serves a lot of bread and butter hardly offered. It took a bit to a dirty table was cleared, although new guests sat at the table. The cutlery we had to partly self service.

The decor was outdated and extremely ugly. The floor tiles were mostly in need of renovation and were not a 4 star hotel. The hotel was well arranged. They always tried, make the beds and towels to folding. Under the beds was not cleaned. The guests came mostly from England and Germany. All the extras should be covered high prices. The fish was the only highlight, but otherwise the buffet was terrible. No choice, the same every day and the breakfast was mostly an English programd (hot mushrooms, tomatoes and beans).

The beach was only a few steps away. You would have to only a steep down the stairs and it was immediately on the beach. The hotel is located right on a cliff, so you can have a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean. Entertainment possibilities in the place was poor. Overpriced local, no discoteques, only so-called bars. Without a rental car, you lost in the place. The place Armacao de Pera is characterized by an extreme Hochhaussiedlung, the a poor impression. Excursion possibilities were just outside of the town. Offers from the hotel were much more expensive than if you put a lot of effort. In some local and also on the beach promenade we made with cockroaches!

The double room was very small. It was perfectly adequate anyway because we had hardly in the room. The closet was enough for 2 people, just a bit musty smell. The mini bar wasn't filled up, so that the refrigerator wonderful for drinks and light snacks could use. The room has a TV and air conditioning. In the bathroom I would have been glad about a make-up mirror.

There was a buffet for breakfast and dinner. It wasn't as extensive as we have experienced in other hotels, but, it's only a small house and, therefore, you could also not exceptional buffet. The food is of course a matter of taste. And it tasted with a few exceptions, we never went hungry. The prices for the drinks were mixed, water is relatively cheap, while you have time for a bottle of wine 18 Euro stays. It was a lovely sitting on the terrace and the sea views at the snack bar. The prices at the pool bar were very overpriced.

The staff were all very friendly, almost all spoke foreign languages well. With any tourist queries was well cared for you at the front desk.

We had only offered by the pool. It was very nice, and there were plenty of chairs and umbrellas, towels could be at front desk. Especially if you are in the back rows was you had a wonderful view of the ocean. There were no activities in the hotel, which was also pleased with that. Twice a week they have a musician in the hotel bar which was really nice.

The hotel is rather small and quiet cliff-top location. To the beach it went directly from the hotel yard via some stairs. The condition of the hotel was overall ok, here and there a few Verschönerungs/renovations necessary, but that doesn't spoil the holiday. Our room had a partial view of the sea, unfortunately we were woken every morning by loud Möwengeschrei, the preferentially in the palm trees outside our room. The staff was always tried to clean, but it was mostly only roughly cleaned and here and there were a little dust. We had booked half-board, breakfast and dinner buffet. The guests were mostly couples young and middle-aged guests, hardly any children, so all very quiet.

The direct beach didn't bother us so much, he was especially on the weekend very crowded, but also with lots of locals. Along the cliffs one could walk from the hotel added to 2 other smaller bays the nice and was not crowded. Unfortunately the quality of the water of the ocean was not so great, there were a lot of seaweed available then pass on a sticky. The place is a tourist stronghold Armacao de Pera, many English and Portuguese, everything looks somewhat primitive. We are not Partytypen, so we enjoyed the quietness of the hotel. Excursions could be best with rental car companies. We are a couple of times with the public buses, but that was adventurous. It's worth it, many towns in the area had a lot to offer. Definitely a boat tour with one of the fishing boats on the beach and a walk along the cliffs to the little chapel do!

The rooms are very small and outdated. The sea view was consoled ourselves and it would room with views in prison also couldn't be worse. There is a mini bar/fridge with modest effort and a television. The safe was for 28,00 EUR to rent for 2 weeks. The beds were very soft and both my girlfriend and I often be plaqued backache. The wardrobe is very small and smells very old and the clothes takes this smell it sadly.

Both breakfast and dinner were terrible. Every evening there were theme buffets but never fit together. 'Orient' at the buffet there was for example. Spaghetti. The prices of the drinks on, a large beer for example. On 3.50 euros. At breakfast I can't confirm that everything was fresh. The bread rolls and the white bread have tasted old and certainly not fresh.

The staff is friendly and also needs help with English at his goal. The cleaning of the rooms was very superficial. Under the bed was a thick dust layer. When you first walk in the Rooms also have made in our bathroom cobwebs. If you wanted to have breakfast on the terrace were the tables had always set up and cleaned if you are sitting down. The hotel is a small area which was in the area around the pool is very nicely decorated. On the back fountains which unkempt condition. The hotel was under German and English tourists. This hotel is an ideal base for excursions due to its central location in the Algarve.

The place near the hotel are a Hochhaussiedlung the to Berlin-Neukölln reminds. However, the beach from the hotel immediately reachable and for excursions which can only be recommended this hotel is very good. We had a rental car for 11 days in the Algarve and there is a great deal to explore but we certainly do not seen all.

The rooms are small but functional. The air conditioning worked perfectly and sattelite TV with was adequate with 6 German programs. The mini-bar you could refill ( different "packages"), hallway to the supermarket is but much cheaper and none of us had something about it. In-room safes can be rented for a small charge. All in one: completely enough!

Here, too, the staff was very friendly. The restaurant (breakfast and dinner buffet) was well arranged and not too crowded ( is a small hotel). The food was ok, every day for breakfast there was everything that one needs: fresh fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs etc. got refilled and was always an ample supply available. Jams, butter, honey etc. were in blocks and was so very hygienic, the Marmeladenauswahl was unfortunately very limited. For dinner there were always 3 dishes to choose from (international cuisine with local flair) the except one night all were delicious. A neat salad buffet and a variety of dessert ( cakes and tarts) rounded out the evening walk to restaurant.

The staff (small flags on their name show what languages can be spoken) was always very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day, everything was clean and tidy!

It was very quiet at the pool ( no entertainment and piped music), if you want to relax this is the place. Beach chairs and umbrellas were sufficiently available.

A small (80 rooms) nice family hotel in the Portuguese style (only 2 floors), The guests came mostly from Portugal, Germany and the UK. There were at our time of travel (beginning of June) was only a few families with small children, it was very quiet and relaxing. Many couples of all ages. Portuguese standards for the hotel was very clean and tidy. includes meals (half board) you each morning.

The transfer time from the airport was very short (45 km, usually via the highway) and therefore pleasant in the van balance. The beach was just across a Teppe from the hotel (87 steps) but you through a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and the rocky shoreline compensated. East-facing however is the view of Hotelbettenburgen less beautiful, but the only side comment. Shopping possibilities were good. It has lots of little supermarkets and cafes ( very great designed new beach promenade), in the other direction about 1 km away there is a large supermarket also open throughout the day. We have to take some points as already mentioned only for the ugly hotels nearby, but the rest is really stunning.

Yes, as I said, some of the rooms and the bathroom could have been a bit bigger. The furniture is a regular hotel facilities. TV, balcony or terrace with table and chairs, small refrigerator, safe deposit box is 2 . - Euro per day, the air conditioning worked well and relatively quiet. Despite the age of the hotel are all rooms always in a very good condition and the cleanliness left nothing to be desired. The cleaning maids are really efficient and super friendly.

In the restaurants was sufficient space around the dinner and the breakfast. In addition the outdoor terrace and the adjacent bar. Breakfast and dinner were always very very fresh quality and extremely sufficiently available. There were always offers local fish, also meat and pasta dishes. The dessert-cakes were" excllent", and "sin" shop already had a. The beer and wine prices in the normal hotel area. For example. A small hotel with 85 double rooms, generous, manicured gardens/gardens, pool area, in direct cliffs/beach location, with a free view of the Atlantic Ocean and facility is a sandy beach, invited you can relax from the stress of everyday life and vocational to relax. Small fisherman's houses within there's still and also the typical Portuguese restaurants, it needs to be in the side streets and are not only on the "Touristenallee" hiking. Fun for everyone!

Our room was in the size & furniture absolutely OK. Sea view, air-conditioning unit, refrigerator, hair-dryer - everything was available. The beds were a little hard, but the hotel was often ... In addition, we hired the safe (2 euro/day). Some could be improved (e.g. B. The carpet in the halls) - as you always found something, but overall the hotel is very well maintained.

The pool bar is definitely overpriced - a Magnums at 3.00 Euro (!! ). It is worth, dip in the place and for example. Ice cream for half to buy.

The staff was friendly and courteous at all times. At the reception and in the restaurant serves German and English spoken. The room cleaning was always perfect.

Entertainment program is not available - it really is a very quiet! (We did precisely! ) There is a sauna, a fitness room, a pon, mini golf, billiards, darts, wi-fi. At the pool (seawater pool) are always enough beach chairs available, beach chairs, towels and umbrellas were included. The garden area was very beautiful, here and there in need of renovation (especially at the rear, where fountain pool empty) but all in all.

The hotel features 88 rooms in a nice location on a rock PLATEAU. We had a room with a direct view of the Atlantic Ocean - lovely. When we booked we were told that these rooms more cost, but we were lucky enough to get a room so no extra charge. When it comes to the rooms with partial view of the sea but the balconies smaller. The cleanliness was impeccable and the staff very friendly and attentive. There was every day new shower gel/shampoo and everything else was good. We booked half-board and not regret it. The food was good and there was something for everyone (fish, meat, pasta, Salat, ... ) - Of course repeated meals, if you there for 2 weeks, but you can eat very much. The half-board was just a little more expensive than if you only booked breakfast (we have 80 Euro p. P.. pay a little more; the price for dinner at the hotel at least 28 Euro). You can either on the sun terrace or in the restaurant food. The atmosphere is pleasant and due to the fact that the hotel is quite small, there were no "led eventually to wrangling" to contend or at the buffet. The guests were mainly German, but also English, French and Dutch. The public is more "quiet" and the average age structure is 45-50 years of age.

The transfer time from/to the airport is approximately 45 minutes - Faro is so very stress-free. The long faces could be reached by stairs down the rocks - you can walk on the beach about 8 km - lovely! For a fee, one could book there deck chairs. We never used the pool, because we either (where towels and beach chairs including were) or out to the smaller beach bays. These can be reached via a go for hourlong with great view! The place Armacao de Pera is quite small, but it's restaurants, supermarkets, bars, etc. available as well as a nice beach promenade. The hotel is about 15 minutes by foot (either along the beach or in the street). The architectural sins the '60s/70s BEHAVE time not hide but that's the case in many southern countries and places. Not as nice, but nothing unusual. In Armacao de Pera there are many "rdos", but no hotels, but mostly Portuguese condos, which on the weekends and holidays inhabited. Then it will full of on the beach and in town. The prices in the supermarkets and restaurants are OK and cheaper than in Germany. Our minibar was always well filled: -) There are some very good restaurants where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish! But we also hired a car for 3 days and so we looked at some places/landscapes (U. A. Albufeira, Lagos, Silves, ... ). This is definitely recommendable.

Room was ok. Unfortunately, however no fridge available. Safe cost 2 Euros, - per day. The decor is dated and not to our taste.

We were happy with breakfast. Choice and quality was good. At the pool there was a small snack-bar, us with its immediately put much too high prices. $14.95 - for a simple hamburgers were just too much.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Right on the first day we had problems with the map to open the room is needed. The but was repaired immediately.

As the hotel is a bit above, you Got down to the beach. Luckily the beach area is not as crowded as in town. The pool area is also a good place to relax. Beach and pool were really good. A shower on the beach would have been great nonetheless.

The Levante is in a nice and quiet pool area. There were plenty of loungers to go around. The room was clean and adequate. We had a partial view of the ocean, which is nice, but the fountains in the rear area there were absolutely in need of renovation.

The place Armacao de Pera is extremely ugly. Awful concrete block vers ** en the landscape east of the hotel. West but there is a nice rocky coast. Shops and restaurants are in the city center, about 10 minutes walk away. Entertainment possibilities are here but limited. There are several restaurants, where you can eat good fish and a few bars.
