Five star, however...

The hotel is a 5 star suites -hotel. We stayed in the 11th Floor. Our suite was large, bedroom and living room, however the bathroom was disgusting! The bathtub, also as shower served, was dirty. The bidet was traces of urine! That isn't on at all. The sleep and living room seemed old and run-down. Both rooms also had carpet, which I personally didn't like it. We stayed one night in this hotel. Unfortunately was the opening the speisesaales for breakfast the buffet not finished yet addressed. So was the choice low. When we finished with the breakfast were, came ... for example first the scrambled eggs to the buffet. Unfortunately. We were just passing through on our Safai in this hotel. We lived out here in four different lodges, all with far better and no 5 star. read more

Older centrally located hotel. Suites with rustic decor, tv, hair dryer, safe, air conditioning, soap and shampoo available, however without mosquito nets. We had first a smoker's room. The service staff noticed, that we are non-smokers and gave us from instantly a new room. Very attentive! We have outside of the hotel dinner and the breakfast was by the early departure very poor. read more

For overnight is ok, but bathroom is tragical

We had to overniht in this hotel because of the cancelation of our direct flight. From the airport the transfer time is ca. 30-40 minutes depends o the traffic jams. The room was ok, only the bathroom was not so clean, tub was dirty. If you staying here ask a room as highest stock as it's possible because of the noisy traffic. For overnighting is ok. read more

Average hotel with the flair of the 80er years archived

The Safari club in Nairobi was our third station of Kenya safari. Unfortunately the hotel has its best years behind itself. Everything was a bit dated and rather 80er years flair. The rooms were a bit 'musty' and conventional. The neighborhood is not so great and everyone in the hotel advises, not to leave the house. The food was okay, but the selection was not so large. For five stars definitely too little. read more

Good city hotel for stopover archived

We stayed on a night stopover in Nairobi Safari in Safari club hotel. Hotel is a good standard hotel and for African standards are justified the 5 *. Hotel is a little getting old, what you see and the bathroom also easy. But it was still clean. Rooms are very spacious with separate living and sleeping area. The food in the restaurant is very good. During our entire stay in Kenya The food was here by far the best (we stayed in six hotels). Kitchen is very versatile and easy Indian style. Service at the hotel was professional friendly. read more

Nice room, great food, small pool archived

The hotel is located in the heart of the city. No trace of nature. Hotel complex with many! Rooms. At the front desk we were greeted with warm washcloth (for the dusty face), as well as a drink. The check-in process was easy. One had the possibility in the hotel off/to exchange money. The hotel has a small shop with souvenirs. The restaurant was very stylish installed. The seats are very comfortable. In the evening, someone has made on the wings music. The buffet was very rich in choice and delicious. We had booked all inclusive. One should point out ... the food, as we were later brought a bill. After much bantering back and forth was quickly gone the bill and they apologized. The room was huge! There was a large antechamber with a couch, chair, tv, fridge, kettle (tea, coffee). In the second room was the large, comfortable double bed, as well as a built-in closet with mirror over the whole room. The bathroom was also large en suite. Shower and bathtub. We had only one night. You advised us not to leave the hotel. The crime was very high in the city. read more
