I loved this hotel. Hotel had a great location right next to Dam square, close to shopping streets nice and cozy. Staff friendly, had a nice design ,room for 2 people was fine had a mini bar and a kettle. read more

We booked the hotel because of its location and good price (€ 50 per night per person, breakfast included) booked. The 4 star hotel entrance and both the facade and the lobby still let you hope. The room however was a disaster and from 4 stars far away. The bed was completely worn out, the blankets and pillows stained, the air conditioning and heating without function, the telephone also to a large extent, only 10 TV channels and single-glazed windows, which let the noise from the party-goers at night also around 4 almost unfiltered to the ears. We had not ... expected that. The breakfast buffet was OK, but also unfortunately nothing special and at 9 o'clock already rather rumpled. The staff in the restaurant seemed rather bored, used plates from the previous tourists were not at all cleared, but simply left lying around. Also here: that is not what 4 stars look like. For a pure city trip, there nothing to complain about the hotel!
It is only 2-3 minutes walk to the DAM (Royal Palace) and just outside the front door of the hotel is the TRAM which takes you in the direction of the Central Station or into town.
The size of the rooms was OK.
You can not expect a 5 star hotel in Egypt etc. here.
Everything you need is available:
Safe, TV etc.
There is no mini bar.
Tip:
The front desk spoke good English, try to get a room to the East side, otherwise it can get ... very loud until late in the night (room toward DAM).
There is also approximately 150 meters from the hotel a large supermarket where you should get some water etc.
The prices in the hotel are rude (€3.80 for 0.3 liters of mineral water, €36 for a 12 pack of 0.25 liter Heineken) read more

The hotel is located in a very central location right behind the Nieuwe Kerk Church, and the Royal Palace, the railway station is also relatively short time perfect distance. You can walk comfortable Amsterdam and explore the flair of the city at any time of day, as I didn't enjoy long way for the coming calculate tips. The hotel itself is to note that we completely unaccountably was, why this hotel was 4 stars. Already upon entering the lobby the completely abgeschmierten noteworthy arms the sofa set to the eye. The room itself was very small, dingy and musty. The ... box totally smeared and dirty, the windows inside as well as smeared and dirty. The lights working partly not at all. The bathroom was clean and quite large, however the counters were again very very scarce. The beds were in the 4 days we were there, 1 x freshly made, towels were changed daily. All in all, the hotel by the great location, but not the condition is a 4 star-hotel. read more

The hotel is very good, but terrible value for money despite internet bargain of EURO 135 , - p. N. O. F. The rooms are a disaster small and musty, no mini bar and the staff at the front desk was extremely rude. This hotel was definately not 4 star and not these rates deserves. read more

Hotel is very centrally located. You can walk everywhere. Not far from the main train station. Room was very small, but it was enough for a city trip. Breakfast is around 5 euro not far from the hotel. read more

The only reason to make reservations for this hotel is the very central location. My room was unreasonable, without daylight with 20 watt bulbs, so that you couldn't make it out. In addition there was still from and to power outage. The bathroom stood out due to its rusted shower rods, lack of toilet brush and combined shower gel/shampoo from a Billigspender from. read more

A city hotel this with very small and poorly sound-proofed rooms we noticed. Frühstückauswahl wasn't amazing, for a 4 star hotel in this area could improve further. read more
