Zazen was located in a park-like laid out grounds directly at the beach. The staff are thaitypisch very friendly and accommodating. The spa is huge and with a very competent staff stocked. The audience is international and by all age groups represented, while we were there, there were very much swiss in the hotel. The restaurants ( upscale audience) we didn't use, since we didn't have the matching clothes with us. The rooms are huge and with everything which need, only new mattresses if appropriate, the open bathroom is with the heat took some getting used to but great. There ... is outside of the hotel very good and cheap food that offers great value for money. Actually there are only two kreditpunkte at the hotel: breakfast is for a longer stay after a couple of days very monotonous, without large variety. There is a starters buffet with fruit, different sausage and cheese. The hauptfrühstück a small menu which each 4 desserts, westspeisen and thai breakfast is. There is unfortunately no egg station or just toast. Unfortunately missing in the hotel also a fitness room. With the gnats, as some had written, we had no problems, there were no more than as in other parts of thailand. read more

We were thrilled! Unfortunately we only 2 nights! Great hotel in all areas! The rooms were very nice, large and modern with classic thai flair! The food was fantastic, reasonably priced but in the upper level. Top -beach area with a great -service. The sham fishermans village offers and can on foot be achieved! This hotel we would book immediately again! Really recommendable! Congratulations! read more

Zazen is a great hotel with outstanding service. Especially good a staff at the beach much, the was very attentive and -as already described-immediately the towel freed from the sand is, if you got up. Furthermore he has even in the twinkling ungefragt one antlia organized and my newly erstandene air mattress inflated, because I too stingy was 50 cents more pay an already bloated to buy.
The restaurant is however for Thai standards expensive however therefor its price worth. The food tastes very good and is beautifully draped. The only fault are really the many mosquitos in the beautiful ... outside bathroom, but the staff motivated, get rid of them. The room service comes extra against evening times, around Mückenspiralen to ignite and weather forecast for the next day to bring. We would this hotel highly recommend. read more

Small (boutique), but very nice complex. Contrasts of the other attachments in the area very pleasant from. We had one gartenbungalow booked with breakfast included. Gartenbungalow with outdoor shower and -toilet ( see tips). Good condition and excellent cleanliness. Kind decoration. Current information on weather, daily new newspaper and so on breakfast, what your heart desires. Several variants scrambled egg, over belgian waffles to the beachfront zazen pancake (you have to try). I think, there is something for everyone there. Several juices, coffee, tea obligatory. Different nationalities spanish, dutch, English, German, all very pleasant. From young to old. Zazen is ... a place of relaxation. The spa is outstanding, massages just great, but their price. read more

We were four times in the 'zazen' and every time new point.
We will be 'back home'!
The whole complex is with a lot of love designed, is responsible for it 'ti' as the owner is.
The staff (120 for 25 bungalow and the restaurant) is very warm and well trained.
The beach in front of the hotel only hotel guests used, therefore not overflowed.
Otherwise everything is perfect. From breakfast till for dinner the in-house restaurant. read more

Already if one arrives and through the garden to the front desk is you diving in another world.
Very personal service without being pushy.
Beautifully decorated rooms, with open-air bathroom. The entire complex is very neat.
The spa leaves nothing to be desired.
And the restaurant is of the finest quality. There the restaurant also not-guests like to visit is in the evening a reservation is recommended!
The owners 'ti and Alex' worry personally very for the guests.
An ideal small hotel for relaxing and romantic days! read more

General impression recommendable nonetheless, gladly again. Room and bathroom not accessible for disabled people, very large Stages. Everything very clean and maintained. Staff are very friendly, Helpful, foreign language English only at the front desk and in the restaurant. Whole complex down to the smallest detail decorated, beautifully. Restaurant somewhat expensive, international and local kitchen, fine international wines. Spa also a feast for the eyes.
Shopping in nearby surroundings, also pub good to reach on foot, 10 minutes
Taxi and bus in short intervals at the street, to Chaweng with a group taxi about 60 Baht/person, or 300 Bath by ... taxi. read more

Unfortunately, we stayed only one night at this lovely, Hotel. It creates a good atmosphere. The hotel is rather small and therefore you will find it here your peace!
The beach is very clean and the beach chairs are incredibly comfortable! The pool is very small, but you have the ocean just in front of the hotel.
The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated!
The restaurant offers a variety of typical Thailspeisen and the quality and the taste of the meal was outstanding! The location right on the beach.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again! read more

We experienced a great holiday in the hotel Zazen boutique Resort. It is located on bophut beach, a quiet beach, on the left and on the right other hotels, as well as massage cabins and restaurants. At the beach direct in front of the hotel there are at noon a fruit and corncobs vendors. The beach is clean however further down in the direction of the sea, so that one is wrong. The sea unfortunately a bit cloudy. There was hardly Jellyfish. Having regard to approximately 800 meters the beach promenade began the fisherman's village. The staff is very friendly ... and helpful. Everything is very clean, and massages are fantastic however also in comparison to the beach massages significantly more expensive! The breakfast is really a dream and there is no really nothing. The evening-Sen very good and perfect to describe, but quite expensive (about 6-10-fold from the price fisher man village in). We have 3 Times eaten, because the atmosphere simply great was. read more

We saw fantastic holiday at the hotel zazen. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean, and the massages were fantastic. We loved it here to 100%, and would recommend the hotel immediately. There is really nothing was left to be desired. A great bathroom, and that in this category. The staff paid attention to all the little details. So one has always fresh räucherkerzen in the bathroom and on the terrace. The breakfast was a dream. Absolutely nothing was missing. The dinner is very good, but rather expensive. We only ate there twice. Time is passing ... too fast, and we have found in the week no point, the we could. read more

We stayed at the September the second and last time in zazen. Unfortunately, we cannot subscribe to the paradise reviews more. We found this year a completely modified zazen boutique resort before. The room cleaning left a lot to be desired! The bathroom was very uncomfortable, since the shower drain smelled extremely bad and the shower had black joints, the mirror was blind, the water tap came from only cold water in the form of an exchange of rinn sales and the toilet was dirty. If you are very small fits under the calcified shower head of the shower, I ... am and had to 1.63 m in the knees. In this hotel was great for us this is a no-go!
The breakfast (which was very good) we were at ten o 'clock' sold 'and furnishings in the bar and restaurant have been deleted at 22:30 all candles and presented the bill was supposed to be open, although until 00:00 o' clock. Not only we were very disappointed.
If you zazen Bay you should definitely book a beachfront-Villa, because the bathrooms bigger and better and in general they are equipped. Also here not disturb the smelly ditch. read more

The stay was incredibly relaxing. The staff of the restaurant was found to be of the highest quality. The Spa area was one of the nicest I have ever seen. The quality of the massages was excellent. A lack of availability of more unskilled job.
One small negative point is the sea. It is not as clear as in other beaches. However one can go swimming here away from the mass tourism of lamai and chaweng beach.
I wish good recovery. read more
