Hotel: the hotel Alexander is very quiet and beautifully in the concentration of luxury villas obermais in Meran. Breakfast and dinner are very good. altbautrakt is a bit outdated now, however fine for a couple of days. The most important is cleanliness and fits here in any case no matter in what areas of the hotel. The complete staff is very friendly. Environment: schloss trautmannsdorf in the immediate area, to Meran city you needed around 20 minutes away on foot. Bus station right nearby. A pizzeria, as well as a restaurant with a bar are also nearby. In this restaurant ... is a very good wine selection was offered-very professional sommelier! Summary: if you at a reasonable price cleanliness, friendliness and good food are looking for/and definitely not the newest (state-of-the-art ) room- and wellness facilities needs, is right at home here. We would definitely come again! read more

We were already 3 time in this excellent guided family hotel. Our suite was in the new building without any drawbacks. Lounges and restaurant were in best condition without renovation. The great hygiene! The breakfast was hearty, the dinner was above average. Most guests were German rentnerehepaare during followed by younger guests between and.     The hotel is located in a very quiet area of apple- and traubenplantagen surrounded in the immediate area from schloss trauttmannsdorff. The garden is like a park well maintained and the hotel complex is uniquely nice. Into the city meran is 20 minutes or use the nearby bus station.

Location The apartment has a view to the north in lush vineyards, to east to Sissi-castle and the garden of trauttmansdorff, as well as a huge, open view of the wonderful town Meran and the etschtal. As when we arrived on the actually booked hotel ( Anatol) due to alleged overbooking to the hotel Alexander the opening of the hotel, we were very cautious and initially also angry. This lasted however not for a long time, as we welcomed in a friendly manner were and stay fully our expectations was. We were öften in Meran and 2. Meal in hotel Alexander. US befält the area to hiking in the mountains, and shop in Meran. The hotel is very good: quiet, friendly for all guests, very clean and pleasant. Price/ quality surely right. Ausfahrtmöglichkeiten in bus in the vicinity, and Meran city center on the 25 minutes quiet on foot. A wonderful recommendation when nature, Rühigkeit, dining and friendliness important on vacation. Who didn't feel good here is rather with themselves problem. The Südtiroler -weather - admittedly the hotel is not responsible - the location of the hotel with a beautiful view over the valley in the middle of from fruit- or vineyards, the friendly helpful ' Hotelgeister ' and the right promised kitchen make the stay for years for us a anytime again desired experience. read more

Good hotel with a very fine food at quiet beautiful location, and nevertheless is one by bus quick in the center from Merano. Unfortunately there has been no playground or games room for children. Had more guests in the let's say of mature age. read more

Beautiful, informally run hotel at peaceful location. Very well maintained garden area with outdoor swimming pool. The food is amazing and diverse. Close to the hotel is the bus station. Meran center could easily on foot be reached. The wellness area we cannot judge, since we exclusively holidays made. read more

    Very old decor. Rather shabby condition. But the worst was a sound from the right slanted underlying kitchen. From about 7:00 A. M. in the morning and in the evening to the early night was a very disturbing sound like a pump with a shock to hear-either. Sleep was at these times impossible!

    okay. But our complaint about a very annoying sound from the kitchen was initial thrown. We are very sensitive and have no complaints. I had researched with holidaycheck and an entry with the same complaint found. Only when I hotel boss faced with, we were given a move made possible. The room was small and the noise was still easy to hear.

    the hotel lies outside of Meran. The bus connection in the evening bad and later time not available (from about 21-10:00 P. M.). But are Trauttmannsdorfer garden very nearby.
