The spacious 3 rooms equipped Lodge is the ideal place for unhitch. The host Petra and Reinhard, the 1994 from Germany here emigrated are, placed in friendliness, Attention and care. For the days of our stays we opted for the full board: the best from new Zealand kitchen, to order combined with European Elements or German: everything is offered. Because of of the kids guests can contact you very good conversation with the other guests. read more

3 guest rooms, the rather suites same, the cosy mix of warm wood and brick fireplace walls: it is great, what for a small paradise the hosts have developed, Petra and Reinhard. Everything super OK, well equipped and well maintained. The dinner menu didn't shy away from comparison to classy restaurants. The lodge with a huge garden on the edge of the bush-rainforest offers pure relaxation-yet it is a good springboard to Coromandel-Peninsula. We felt well cared for us by Petra and Reinhard read more

The Lodge is in a wonderful setting. Great nature trails in the New Zealand can be launched in the proximity of the lodge. Also if you want to enjoy a nice beach holiday, 10 - 30 minutes by car the greatest enjoy beaches. The food in the family-run lodge is good and plentiful. To be recommended was the menu in the evening from the chef to order, which will be put together individually. The suites are spacious and have a private garden and terrace. It was hard to get used to the 'charm' in the nature New Zealand. At first ... glance this dynamic atmosphere is but not intrusive and makes, after the first surprise on them most of the local flair Lodge. The from Germany EXPATS owners are nice, authentic and helpful!!! Overall, a stay at the Lodge is highly recommended - not least because of the good evening cuisine in nice surroundings/company!: -) read more

A cozy Lodge, where we could speak German. A beautiful spot earth, very well maintained rooms, clean and tidy. Petra and Reinhard always courteous, we felt real guests. The breakfast in the morning with cereals, fruit, German and toast as well as various kinds of eggs, rich and very good. Each dinner in the evening was a surprise and a joy. In the valley is hiking and to the beautiful sandy beach of Wangamata it is not far. to hot water beach you do. We had dinner and the beer NZ refer to the German invited to enjoy the were ... very impressed. On the last night after dinner we Reinhard the fireflies shown on the waterfall. If we go back to New Zealand again we'll definitely stay there again. March 2010 Monika, Werner 66 read more

4 Rooms and all totally lovingly decorated. Very clean and the hosts are just lovely. You will be on a blackboard greeted by gardens and good and unreal cooking of the saying pampered. The surrounding area offers great hiking trails through unspoilt virgin forest and then you can have it at the Lodge. It is reminiscent of some of South African Privatlodgen and we felt very comfortable there. read more

Our tour of the North Island New Zealand started we did run Coromandel peninsula. We were looking for a cozy place to stay that keeps you close to nature in traffic-wise, the us is well connected to the destinations Peninsula. We found 24 5 km from Whangamata away at Wentworth Valley the Bushland Garden lodge, the far beyond our expectations. The cozy Lodge has 4 rooms and is served from Petra and Reinhard N., since its Emigrate from Freiburg 15 years ago, powered. Petra is the good soul of the lodge and of course a lot of insider tips on ... Coromandel in petto. Reinhard prepares perfect dinner (recommendation: beef fillet, or fresh swordfish) and the appropriate NZ wine is always well stocked. The guests in the "Straussenwirtschaft" come from all over the world (we met Canadians, Russians, Belgian and German) and of course also make for exciting evening entertainment. read more
