For city breaks really recommendable. The room relatively small, but if you only for sleeping as is, it is more than adequate. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Staff also in stresssituation always friendly. read more

I can Lancaster Gate hotel in any case and recommend with a good conscience. From Paddington also easily accessible on foot! What unfortunately missing, is a fitness center. Breakfast also a little improvement. read more

    The rooms were small but more than adequate. Also very comfortable and furnished nicely. There is a safe, a tv and in the drawers you will find a hairdryer and a kettle (have cups, spoons and tea ☺ also an airco is available. The only, which is to be criticized, are the windows, the leaks. They are already quite old, but with a little push, the windows shut down. The staff always strove, the rooms clean. This is achieved. Also the bathroom was always clean.

    The breakfast was good. Featuring classic english breakfast there was muesli, cereal, croissants, bread, sausage, cheese, jam and honey, salad and plenty of juices, tea and coffee (something for everyone!) It was simply decorated, but delicious. The restaurant was clean and had a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

    The staff is very friendly and helpful. Questions were gladly answered and you could many tickets for attractions, such as for example madame tussauds or Tower of London, at the front desk buy. Everyday the rooms were with trouble clean fast and friendly. For breakfast was the staff on the ground and cleared the tables, as soon as you finished eating, immediately (was not disturbing or pushy)

    The hotel one reaches fastest with the Heathrow Express. Also the subway would be an alternative. The journey takes about 45 minutes. The hotel is located between three subway stations, all within 5 to 10 minutes on foot distance. Also the Paddington train station (Heathrow expr. ) Is in the immediate vicinity. Nearby there is madame tussauds and the Oxford Street. Around the corner is the Hyde Park. Pubs, restaurants and supermarkets especially nearby the underground stations baywater and Queensway. From the train stations can be reached by the way quickly in the center. Also a bus stop is 2 minutes away from the hotel.

As' old ' England-fans we were a lot, what the quality the english hotels-it in London - wise. So surprised we were about this hotel with good transport links. Room was small (not too small), however very well equipped. Everything worked-even in the bathroom with a bath. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is for the next short stay to London already times in idea noted. read more

    The room worked in the first moment a bit small, was however completely sufficient, since we anyway were just there to rest and sleep in the hotel were. You could normally move around. There was a closet with hangers, additional pillows and blankets, a safe, a tv, enough outlets, chair and dresser. You could with a kettle tea, everything was in the room. The bathroom was with tub, sink, toilet, had a clothes line, the margins could, a hair-dryer and a clothes dryer. Shower gel, soap and shampoo were provided and refilled. We had a view of the backyard, without a lot of light and with a scaffold in front of the window, that however not really bother us though. According to the bulletin was apparently worked and asked for consideration. Unfortunately the room was quite noisy. There the bathrooms between two rooms were, we could the sound of the toilet and shower hear the next door, which partially woke, since it was quite loud. Definitely take your earplugs, if you're a light sleeper!

    Al we on the 25 december (our arrival day) no available restaurant found, are we just decided on a snack back to the hotel. In the restaurant you could on this day only with reservation sit down, in the outside bar we could but order a bite to eat and it was really delicious. Very recommendable the club sandwich, my friend was there and away from the burger. The breakfast in the morning was plentiful, a really big choice. Juices, cereals, coffee, tea, sausages, baked beans, eggs, ham, tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, sausage, Baguette, toast, fruit, vegetables, yogurt. As buffet-style was very hectic and sometimes you had to line up, however not long. The breakfast hours were from 6:30 to 10:00. We would have liked, that you until 11:00 o'clock breakfast. The staff is but speedy. The dishes sometimes a bit bland, but salt/pepper and local spices (such as vinegar or brown sauce) were on the tables ready, so completely okay.

Only drawback the housekeeping was on 31 december , the apparently only until lunch worked on, and us-despite sign 'do not disturb' -from the bed knocked and only after 3. knocking, when we finally the room left, peace has been made. We have a day without cleaning certainly also survived. Nevertheless was the cleaning of the rooms great. Every day decent bed, ok in general, fresh towels and the onsite duschgeld was replenished.

    The hotel is located about 900 metres away from the Paddington Station and 500 metres from the Queensway station or Lancaster Gate station. This is achievable, although at the end of somewhat annoying, however quite as a part of. Bus stops you will find on the stations in accordance with. A hotel in London to find is never a simple venture, often reflects the price the performance was not at all against. The Lancaster Gate but a very solid choice for a reasonable price. There is also a-for british standards - good breakfast offered. The hotel was kürztlich renovated and made a very good impression. But one noticed very quickly, that you in an old piles is housed: one understood each word from the neighbor room. This is in our eyes the only fault. read more

Very nice and centrally located hotel. 2 metro stations in 5 minutes on foot reachable. Bus stop even in 2 minutes. Peacefully located, at night virtually no noise. Hotel even rather badly soundproofed however pleasant neighbors, didn't bother us. The breakfast is for englandverhältnisse very tasty and extensively, large buffet with muesli, bread ( not only toast ), yoghurt, meat and cheese. Room very nice and big enough as a city break not so much spend time in. Bathroom large and nice. Excursions and shops sufficiendy in the immediate area. In England it needs an adapter for the plug socket ..., this can also at the front desk be rented. For bus and metro it is worth it, a oystercard to solve what any can be loaded. read more

The central, hotel is perfect for a city trip to London, is located in the Hyde Park in a beautiful area with numerous restaurants nearby, also the Portobello market is in walking distance. The rooms were for londoner of conditions largely. Not too noisy, enough water pressure in the bathroom- the bathroom was large. We had package. The hotel lies Conveniently located subway Lancaster Gate and Bayswater 5 minutes on foot bus station also. The Hyde park nearby. Shopping shop not far to the Queensboro road. The room OK for the price. What was not good is the window in it was on the ground floor the courtyard in the the air conditioning the continuously. For breakfast well, European it says, toast jams a variety ham cheese that was it. Otherwise typical English. Check-in without problem. We would the hotel probably again. read more

Have long offers compared and me for this hotel in a side street parallel to Hyde Park decided. Really recommendable! Value for money just unbeatable, if you other offers in a central location ransacks. Modern/ partially. For London a really magnificent hotel. The rooms and bathroom are a bit small, for London proportions average, but more than adequate, you're only for sleeping and showers in the room. In the bathroom would be a shower with removable Soda rather than a bath tub with feast mounted Soda; who takes during a trip to London for a bathroom? Unfortunately, the temperature control of the water in the bathroom took some getting used to. First you had to wait some time to the water finally warm is. The hotel lies very close to Kensington Gardens and Hyde park. 3 subway stations are in 5 minutes distance. The Portobello road is easy to reach on foot. Breakfast was all right. Towels changed daily. Tip: the Fat Tire bike tour starts at the you Queensway and is definitely recommendable! read more

The hotel has a great location, is however unfortunately getting a bit old. At night you can hear again at any time the 'knock' the Warmwasserleitung. A beautiful hotel for a few days. The hotel lies between two metro stations which was cyberspeed everywhere go anywhere. The location is so ideal for cities or shoppingvacations. The rooms are clean and properly equipped. Solely Satellite TV was Missing. Service, breakfast are good. Cons there is for lack of parking spaces. Car must for a crazy price some streets further parked will. After one the whole day the feet flat walk has you would like to in the evening eventual or other German Channels can. Unfortunately Nil Return. I have never experienced something like that. Would nevertheless like ... to come again. read more
