Really recommendable!
Older, but clean hotel. Our room had a leaky windows with a view of the courtyard. For a city break but perfectly acceptable.
For breakfast: typical english, but also fresh fruits, cereal, Baguette, sausage, cheese and jam. So completely okay!
Direct access nearby at the subway and the bus.
Conclusion : we can definitely recommend this hotel! read more

Very nice, clean, quiet hotel in a side road opposite the hyde park. Good traffic connections, only 5 minutes walk to the next bus stop or to the next subway railway station (Queensway). Room for three persons more than adequate, unfortunately little storage space available and the closet was without einlagenbretter, we lived mostly from the suitcase, the mini safe was in the closet. It was in the closet a fold out ironing board! Installed.
Staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. read more

We were unfortunately due to an overbooking for the first night a room in the basement made available. But this was clean and alright. Only it was really dark and noisy because of the air conditioning. But without asking us for the next morning a new room made available. The luggages were from the staff in the new room was brought. The room was bigger, bright and completely fine. The rooms in London are generally small. Our room had a pleasant size. Also the bathroom was in good condition. The staff was very accommodating and tried hard. Also special requests ... from our side were immediately taken care of. The rooms are very clean.
The hotel is located great for a city trip in 2. row to the hydepark in a quiet and safe area. Quickly after notting hill, only a few stops to the piccadilly circus. Ale important attractions are easy to reach. The main metro lines are also easy to reach.
Only one negative: the hotel is very poorly soundproofed. Discussions in the neighbor room could in our room understood, as conditions the people next to us.
Nevertheless we would come again! read more

A great london city hotel in a very pleasant area. Bus stop and underground are in the immediate proximity.
Check-in was quickly, 3-bed -room was for a few nights top, free safe, air conditioning, trouser press, electric kettle with tea and instant coffee, tv unfortunately only with english channels.
In the drawer of the desk was the hair dryer, strange but ok. Bathroom was quite large, with a toilet, sink and tub and shower. Here and there were defective spots on the tiles, but didn't bother us at all. Hauptsachse clean!
The hotel is located in a very quiet area ... in 2. number to Hyde Park, you have heard nothing from outside, the nights were very relaxing.
The dining room was very cozy in two levels, the table was assigned, coffee and hot chocolate were brought to the table, the buffet consisted of scrambled eggs, beans, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, fried tomatoes, toast, fresh croissants, bread to slice yourself, 2 types of ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, jam, honey, butter, margarine, cereal and cereals, yogurt nature, strawberry-flavored yoghurt, canned fruit and fresh fruits, dried fruit, milk and juices to the tap.
The rooms were cleaned daily, the beds made.
In the evening there the possibility in the restaurant to eat, the we didn't use.
We have stayed in other hotels in London and are of the opinion, that the Lancaster Gate hotel really in all areas was very good. For 3 nights with our 9 year old daughter, we have 400 euros paid. read more

The hotel is really easy to find. From the Heathrow Airport you need
With the train approximately 45 minutes from the check-in and check-out was totally uncomplicated
And easy (if one english speaks). The rooms are very tidy
And are cleaned every day. By bus one comes very fast
And uncomplicatedly everywhere. The staff was very attentive and very pleasant.

A hotel in London to find is never a simple venture, often reflects the price the performance was not at all against. The Lancaster Gate but a very solid choice for a reasonable price. There is also a-for british standards - good breakfast offered. The hotel was kürztlich renovated and made a very good impression. But one noticed very quickly, that you in an old piles is housed: one understood each word from the neighbor room. This is in our eyes the only fault. read more

Very nice and centrally located hotel. 2 metro stations in 5 minutes on foot reachable. Bus stop even in 2 minutes. Peacefully located, at night virtually no noise. Hotel even rather badly soundproofed however pleasant neighbors, didn't bother us.
The breakfast is for englandverhältnisse very tasty and extensively, large buffet with muesli, bread ( not only toast ), yoghurt, meat and cheese.
Room very nice and big enough as a city break not so much spend time in. Bathroom large and nice.
Excursions and shops sufficiendy in the immediate area.
In England it needs an adapter for the plug socket ..., this can also at the front desk be rented.
For bus and metro it is worth it, a oystercard to solve what any can be loaded. read more

The central, hotel is perfect for a city trip to London, is located in the Hyde Park in a beautiful area with numerous restaurants nearby, also the Portobello market is in walking distance. The rooms were for londoner of conditions largely. Not too noisy, enough water pressure in the bathroom- the bathroom was large.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a problem with the safe, but within a few hours fixed was.
Excursion tip nearby: 'Little Venice' further outside on edgeware road read more

We had package. The hotel lies Conveniently located subway Lancaster Gate and Bayswater 5 minutes on foot bus station also. The Hyde park nearby. Shopping shop not far to the Queensboro road.
The room OK for the price. What was not good is the window in it was on the ground floor the courtyard in the the air conditioning the continuously. For breakfast well, European it says, toast jams a variety ham cheese that was it. Otherwise typical English. Check-in without problem. We would the hotel probably again. read more
