We are 6 in medhufushi 'stranded', after unsthomas cook 2 days before takeoff wrote our actually booked island bathala'overbooked' is (we had 9 months before!). They offered us to 'free' to page or just after medhufushi 'to change' which we did. Interestingly include medhufushi according to of the staff the same hotelier as bathala, where appropriate, explains the noisy Thomas Cook on the whole Maldives only on medhufushi spare capacity was. read more

    We had 3 water bungalows the kindly just lay next to each other. Everything outstanding, large bathroom, private terrace with steps into the shallow lagoon.

    The quality of the food and selection is very good. It was my 10 maledivenreise and certainly by far the best food. The cleanliness in the restaurant and the friendliness the waiter was okay. Tips are expected, but with the low wages the waiter but also is understandable.

    For christmas and new year's they really make very effort to arrange the celebration. Even santa came with the archangel by boat. At new year's eves good party in the new year. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Room cleaning as almost always on the Maldives okay.

    The chairs at the beach had already better days. Nice pool area with a big pool on the sunset side the island. There is a large fitness center, and a beach-volleyball field. In addition there was daily (except wednesday) a tauchdoni for snorkelling. One is then with 25-30 schnorchlern on the way, the reef almost never alone. Contrary to other reports in this portal the schnorchelausfahrt not pre and in the afternoon instead of. The started reefs are nice, replace but the lack of hotel.

    Only with seaplane to reach in a lagunenteil without reef. Nearby another hotel island within sight, otherwise two maldivische local islands nearby. Beach on the sun set page very nice, despite seegraswiese. It is constantly the alluvial seagrass eliminated. Sunrise side the island with many parts of corals, therefore hardly for swimming adequate. There is a large and very nice pool, but you need the Maldives?

Have just come from medhufushi and me seaweed already disturbed. It is located on the sunset side the island and starts 5 metres from the beach as a huge unterwasserwiese with corresponding alluvions. In the east but are everywhere small korallestücke at the beach so, the bathing is not possible everywhere and also not rippling through the water the island can walk to. The service the waiter was awful, often my used plates itself of the kitchen delivered. Bungalows are quite nice, although never directly at the beach the food was one the best on the buffet, which i ever ... to the Maldives experienced. I was afterwards on the sheena ( tauchsafari Werner Lau), which very recommendable was. read more

    Very nice, clean, not brand-new anymore but nice in the shade kept. You can the loungers directly to the beach take, or in the shade under the beautiful trees remain. Simple but good.

This island is just the right size, not too small and not too big, in half an hour you can the island orbit. There are 120 rooms (about 40 water bungalows, 2 water villas and the rest are beach bungalows). There was a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, a souvenir shop, a bar. It is very quiet, for relaxing and get away from it all just perfect! There are enough loungers by the pool available, all the same when one comes, it is always available. The pool is located on the sonnenuntergangseite, we ate there every night the ... sunset looked at. The whole island is every day swept, the seaweed every day away. Constantly gardeners underway. There is a great spa area on stilts in the water, you can even directly at the beach treat. There was half board and all inclusive. We had the half board, which was totally enough for us. The beverages are not cheap (beer 7, soft drinks 5, cocktails 14, bottle of water 3,50$), but one had to remember, that you from the capital male, or 40 minutes by seaplane into the sea out flew (a wonderful experience!. All-inclusive would in our opinion not worth it. We have in 9 days circa 160$ for beverages needs. There was internet access for a fee, we have however not used, as we turn off wanted ☺ The guests came from d, f, Russia, China, Japan - all very pleasant and from about 25 years upwards. A few children were there, but this didn't bother us. read more

    The water bungalows are very modern and nice, big enough. The beach bungalows in maldivian style, nice, large and with a half-open bathroom. Both have a terrace with swing and 2 chairs. Hair dryer, ceiling fan, air conditioning, tv, minibar, kettle, coffee machine, telephone are available. Also the baths are big enough. Each beach bungalow has its own stretch of beach with 2 beach chairs. Beach towels there were daily to the room brought.

    The main restaurant is very nice, also here you need-as well as on the rest the island - no shoes, if then flip-flops or similar. Everything was open. There are enough choice of meals, everything was good. But we would have us and freshly grilled steak desired. Against an extra charge you can also at the beach to evening eat. The bar had a wide selection of drinks. Snacks, pizza or similar, you could take lunch to order if you don't all inclusive.

    The staff speaks english, a manager from the hotel even very well german. All are very helpful and friendly. There are something to complain about, about it worries immediately (although we nothing to complain about had). Also on the beach there was nothing to moan about.

    The island is approximately 40 minutes away from the airport (with the water-plane). All rooms are directly at the beach. Even if the beach is beautiful, we recommend for swimming in the sea tauchschuhe, since there were a few pieces of coral there. It also goes without shoes, with but it is clearly more pleasant. A doctor there was on the neighboring island, these can one with boat reach. The hotel offers 6 time the week free snorkelling trips to, there's a diving school, and numerous water sports. For a fee there are other excursions, such as deep-sea fishing, sunsetfishing, island hopping, dolphin-watching. A fitness room, a ping-pong table and many books are available.

I was sick with my friend to dengue fever on this island! Despite repeated request to the front desk we got no medical or other help! With 40 degrees fever we were on our women and their help. Also the drinking water is obviously entsalzenes sea water. Minds before the mosquitoes! Pay attention to bugs for example worms in the washbasin, ants and spiders in the toilet! Internet there is contrary to other statements not in the rooms, but only at the bar! The management is dishonest, it conceals for example diseases of its guests! I am very much on ... the world on the way here I never again! read more

The arrival by seaplane is really recommendable. The service is friendly, unfortunately lacking the language skills, usually a bad English, but the service otherwise redeemed (room service was great and unobtrusive, restaurant = a waiter is for the whole time for a guest /couple/family responsible and must rauskristallisieren, but then class). Beach is clean and maintained constantly, as well as the island every day maintained. For the excursions can be said, that a lot of value is, but also good money pay is ( high sea fishing = $ 90 per person ), all inclusive does not mean special additional ... services which is to be criticized. Unfortunately a negative point is the supply of drinks, everything must in the restaurants consumed, here would be a serviceupgrade for all inclusive offered. Unfortunately was the fishing excursion because of bad weather canceled, but generally is even for children the island recommendable, on the eastern side a quiet naturpool, even at high tide, and for snorkeling excellent. read more

This was our first vacation on the Maldives. For us it was really exciting. It is a pity that this island does not have its own reef has. So one drives with a boat for snorkelling. The through the current alluvial seagrass daily removed. All in all it was a magnificent vacation! read more

We were 2 wonderful weeks in Paradise to spend! All of the staff were always make an effort the wishes to fulfill, especially our favorite waiter Kamal the meistends in the bar works! The water villa was simply a dream. This hotel we could without doubts to further-recommend! read more

A great and casual hotel with Maldives-Total flair. The food was excellent and of the highest quality, also the restaurant was great to sit. The bungalows are a bit small and run-down, the sanitary installations a bit in need of renovation. The beach is well-tended and beautiful lagoon for swimming available. read more

Who Robinson Crusoe feeling want to experience, is in the right place here. Not expect the amenities an austrian standard, one is on a small island! The only negative on the island is, that there is no nearby reef gives, apart from that it is the heaven on earth. Naggers there are unfortunately also on the Maldives. The diving basis is also top (german). The food is very good and there is a wide selection, there is something for everyone - also live cooking there was daily. Are only since 4 days back-that was vacation in paradise! Our kids, both adult, it also found! Unbelievably nice, industrious staff, everything was at any time clean - the beach and the garden were every day cleaned ( ants live well on the island, but the live elsewhere.), the bungalows 2 times per day cleaned, the kitchen fantastic- in 7 days not a only Dish repeated, everything was very tasty and our kids were of the view, that you until the Maldives travel must, in order to world best pasta and best ice to eat. Staff was helpful and ... at all times mega -friendly and attentive, no matter in which area/service! In addition this beautiful bungalow, great beach, incredible sunrises, and -settings, staff, that a really wishes of the eyes reads, a buffet, that never empty, never one had to wait, because of a straight 'from' was, water and beach to dream (naturally also times seaweed washed ashore or a coconut or a plastic bottle, but it was always cleaned-white not, which most people from the nature expect ) - however you should bathing shoes have, because it also times Korallenstückchen lie in the sand (for us but that was nothing, what deduction would justify). Megatolles reef to snorkeling, but also before the bungalow schnorchelschön -well, in short - all could bear it any longer and enjoy and it felt wonderful, heavenly, fantastic, beautifully! read more

The island Medhufushi is very nice, a well-kept, clean complex for idyllic, casual barefoot -luxury. The employees are all very friendly and the service was always good. Particular emphasis should be on the food - at quantity and quality certainly not to beat. The bungalows (beach villas), especially the sanitary installations/ bathroom/ beach chairs with cushions are a bit outdated and don't correspond to a 4. 5 star standard. There is in comparison to other Islands clear backlog. The island is very strong ebb and flood affected, which means, that at the East side (the is more beautiful, intimate page ... ) in the afternoon hardly beach is available. But you can very well to the tropical garden the bungalows. The infrastructure is very good in the island integrated. The from the hotel offered activities were sufficient. In comparison to other Islands is little offered ('basis-benefits'). Who rest and relaxation searches, it casually like, is on medhufushi correctly. read more

We had a water villa with direct access to the sea. Wonderful! Very enjoyed, we have the peace and quiet without animation. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff. All inclusive is very recommendable, since there was only a small souvenir shops are. Some furniture in our water villa needs of the renovation. But, that all food must be imported, the chefs true artists. We have all meals And drinks very good. A really great vacation. read more

This is our 2. vacation on the Maldives. Last year we had a smaller island ( mayafushi ) booked. There are differences that each evaluated differently. Medhufushi is a bit too large. The hygiene is ok, we have however already experienced better. Five star were here too much. At the end of february were about 70% of the guests french. You have to like, because the had its own style. Many children, but not disturbing. read more

    Nice large with great bath! However also here the hotel is have already gotten very old and the water villa-settlement has nothing romantic! There was a coffee machine with free coffee pads and 1 bottle drinking water per day.

    The breakfast we have always enjoyed. Great bread and otherwise everything that you could wish for. Our waiter was a 'zombie' by tip has that not changed. There is no feast tables, each are looking for a place where he wants. Dinner there was also in buffet form. There was always plenty of choice, something for everyone. The indian cuisine was however nothing for our taste and our stomachs. But there were also alternative. However no 5 stars. Nothing special! We could at least machnchmal a highlight desired. The atmosphere through the size a bit worn. In the evening bar could one the day then comfortably end let. Because we however booked half board had, we had to the beverages pay and these were clearly more expensive than on mayafushi last year (plus about 40%)

    The staff are friendly but that was it already. The rooms were 1 time per day superficially cleaned. Fresh towels there was however always. We wanted a other bungalow, this was within 3 hours done.

    Snorkeling this is not the hit, because there is no nearby reef there is! As an alternative here free snorkelling activities. But that was not our cup of tea! We have german diving station 'Werner Lau' diving and that was also very nice. However we had for less money also have more service! Other water sports we didn't use. The pool have especially children use. Who needs already a pool?

    The beach is beautiful, but not excellent. The water is very long way too flat. You can actually not at all swim. Everything seems to be a little run-down. Excursions as usual with the boat for snorkelling etc.

Very nice ecotic location. Just limited possibility to swim (too shallow ) and grass in sand. No possibility for snorkling -house reef missing. Othervise great holiday. Water temperature was 30 degrees. read more

Hotel, the lack of timeliness however by the diligence and the friendliness of the staff more than made up for it in full. Maldives as one would imagine it to be! The only problem may be tourists from Eastern Europe, who don't know, that you also on his hosts (even if they were) can be friendly, more tore off and the buffet only adopted, as much as you can eat. That was it however already with the criticism, and therefor the resort nothing therefor. We have liked it very much and perhaps go back again next year. Namaste read more
