Hotel Artemis^{(2 stars)}

Our room was on the first floor and had a small balcony with lateral view of the sea. The room was however very small and only had a really small closet (that is the only thing, that it to complain about), but it was very clean and seemed fairly newly renovated. The bathroom is small, for greek standards, but also very clean. In the room there was even a hairdryer. Safe for 1 Euro on the day are available for hire. Air conditioning for 5 Euro per day thrown in may, end of August/ beginning September it was for us but not necessary. With the window open it was very pleasant temperatures in the room. The balcony was small, but very nice with table and chairs. wäschestände included sufficiently brackets were also available.

We only booked with breakfast. The breakfast room is small, but very clean. You can eat on the small terrace. Unfortunately no view of the sea, but that is already the only fault. It gabjeden day coffee, tea and fruit juices at the buffet. In addition weissbrot, 2-3 types of sausage/ schinkenund 2-3 sorts of cheese. In addition changing (even) baked specialties (swirl, cakes, biscuits etc.) , often also croissants or eggs (food). Daily changing fresh fruits and marmelade respectively cereals. At the breakfast there really nothing to moan about.

We were very warmly welcomed and during our stay always very friendly cared for. There was also the offer, that jedwaigen problems somewhere on the island in any case at the hotel turn to. For the beach we got during the two weeks a umbrella borrowed. In the entire hotel good English spoken, the communication was therefore not a problem. For the farewell we got from the boss even a small gift presented.

The hotel artemis is a small, but fine hotel in the small village agia Anna. The approximately 20 rooms spread on two floors. The whole hotel area makes a very well maintained, extremely clean impression. We had room with breakfast booked. Guests were during our stay too many austrians, some German and greeks.

Artemis is located in - from the beach -second row in the middle of the town agia Anna. To the next beach it is around 30 to 40 meters through a small lane. The beach of agia Anna is very clean and decent. There are numerous chairs and umbrellas but also authorities, in which one could lay in the sand. Around 10 minutes away on foot can be reached with a wooden jetty the plaka -beach. Here one kilometer long, beautiful sandy beach. The further south you get, the more quiet it is in the plaka. Agia Anna itself is a small, nevertheless lively place. There are about 20 taverns and some bars, as well as 4 mini - respectively supermarkets, so you in the immediate vicinity has. With the bus (drives every 20 minutes until into the night inside!) you are in 10 to 15 minutes in the main town Chora. There you will find everything your heart desires, as well as a lively nightlife. Because the hotel even in the middle in agia Anna is, can it at night with an open window a little lively ('loud') are. We could nevertheless sleep very well.
