In short: excellent! Sure one of the best hotels at the Riviera Maya. In comparison to some other resorts is here a very nice beach section. Turquoise blue water however only at calm lake and within the first 50-100 metres in the water, then follows already corals and felsuntergrund (doesn't matter, as you can anyway no longer stands, and for snorkeling it is already again interesting). Access to the sea and the beach are fully corals and felsenfrei.
Furthermore stunning pool area with several channels and branches by the whole complex attracts. These channels will be through countless bridges crossing. ...
The hotel is adults-only, so no children from the everyday life stressed adults disturb. Guests were mainly from the USA and from Canada, little europeans. read more

This hotel with the Secrets clear the best hotel on the peninsula Yucatan. The value for money is unbeatable, when considering the quality food and drink have. You can eat all day and cocktails.
The rooms are in terms of size ok. The open bathroom with a separate toilet and separate marble shower needs a bit of getting used to. The bed was ok, a bit hard, but you could well on it sleep. Impressive mini bar with the ' real ' alcoholic beverages as Smirnoff, jim beam but also Corona beer, Cola, Cola Light etc.
Television stations gives it ... only one or two german but not be suitable. The american channels, however, bring very good films and series.
Room service friendly. One gets each evening the program for the next day to the room put. We tipped every day 1 Dollar or 50 Peso ones.
The offered food is gigantic. Very good meal and in time a place without waiting get wants to no later than 19 hours at chez Isabel eat out. Very upscale food and restaurant. No wonder that the emphasis on this restaurant, since the manager is french. Very good cuisine and equipment (wmf cutlery).
In general the waiters are all very pleasant and spray good mood. Tip is not like in other hotels 'expected '. You will also without tip very accommodating worn out. We have only after 2 weeks a waiter from the breakfast 5 Euro given. He was very surprised and very pleased.
Exception is the pool bar. There one gets with some 'help' from George Washington or Lincoln (or Peso) the real alcoholic beverages. You ordered a ' marhgarita' you will get this with the local (cheap ) alcoholic beverages mixed. You ordered a mischgetränkt you have the best the original alkoholnamen enumerate the one it to have would like. Since the americans gladly times 10 Dollar tip the bartender at the bar to stop you shouldn't stinted are.
Animals we in this hotel not really seen. Clear there were the seagulls, the mexican raben, many butterflies, lizards etc. But coatis for example like in other hotels described you couldn't find.
Which very good i found, was the fitness studio. Very modern devices from technogymnastik there was fresh fruits available, chilled ice tea, towels, refreshment towels, chilled water. From the equipment was everything available you could gesässmuskulatur, abs, torso, legs trainineren. Also treadmills and elliptical machines were available. Free weights and mats were also available.
There are different trip possibilities are offered, from the hotel, from the tour operators, but also at the beach walk with offered by. The excursions should probably really good organized and i think it is not a problem also a trip with the ' traders' to book. There are mostly the same destinations etc., it differs from the price.
The atm in the lobby wanted our loan /EC Card do not accept, so we had to at the front desk to outrageous conditions change money.
Least you can say, that this hotel really exceeded our expectations has (also that one even in the sea wi-fi or hsdpa front desk had.) And this hotel we could without doubt recommend for people who a vacation without children in a very well-kept ambience to enjoy want and all around let yourself be pampered want. read more

We booked with a private transfer from and to the airport in Cancun. Except the long flight with condor economy, everything was great! Pure indulgence! We were welcomed with Champagne and wet washcloth. The complex itself is huge, but there is no 'crowds', so it is not on, that lots of people there are. No children so quiet. If you rest something, you're here just perfect! Many americans suburb, mostly successful businesstypen, the love to 'cigar room' a cigar and whiskey enjoy. All top brands of alcohol in the room different bottles plus mini bar included. We have a cheaper ... room and still 72 metres ² plus jacuzzi bathtub. A german channels on tv-i think ZDF it was. Not much watch tv. read more

A very clean, extensive and very nice hotel with varied dining -, entertainment- and fitness activities. It is only beautiful suites in this hotel. The staff speaks almost all spoke English, as the guests too many americans are. We are the only couple from Germany. The service is excellent and the staff very friendly. There is no public traffic connection close to the hotel. Transfer from the hotel to the airport by taxi, the book in the hotel can (fixed price American Dollar 45, -or 450 Peso). A private transfer from the hotel to the airport in a exclusive car ... of the hotel costs American Dollar 80, -. Program the excursions varied, however quite expensive. We are completely full satisfied with the hotel. The only unfortunately is, it at this time of the year ( October) unfortunately very much seaweed/seaweed in the sea and swimming in the sea no fun. A giant hotel. There are several theme restaurants available the dinner the highlight would be...
After long and intensive research we chose the excellence Riviera Cancun and regret this not at all. We were at the time a of three german couples-the rest only americans and canadians... Therefore no german contacts which in turn really great was.
Rental car book on the internet - in the hotel costs of this twice! For the same landlord. read more

The excellence is a magnificent hotel for couples.
The guests are to 95% Americans, but very pleasant were.
Het hotel is zeer schoon en verzorgd and offers with 8 different à la carte restaurant, bars and evening agenda everything the holidaymaker could want.
The pool area is very nice and also very well maintained. Otherwise is the food wonderful, we never had better hotel food!
Major cities are not in the immediate area, excursions can on request but right at the hotel be booked. read more

Despite intensive search - I found nothing to complain about! For me it was the best hotel, which I so far visited! In comparison to Cuba was the all inclusive never difficult or with waiting time connected.
US citizens so on air-conditioning devices is possible, is a cold fast possible. read more

in the check in -Simply fabulous.-Detailed guidance by the complex by means of a bell-boy, even though we arrived at 23:30. Hours in the hotel arrived (2 hours later planned-delay was because of airline Condor)
good way for people from various countries outgoing quickly to meet. By the third day as constant contact with some nice Canadians or US Americans.

Most Canadians (from the English, as well ... as the French-speaking part), many US Americans, some English a few Russians and German.

Upscale all inclusive hotel. Very lovely area with a lot of green and several pools. Everything seemed very well maintained and clean. Nationalities mixed with emphasis on United States and Canada. read more

Since that we here our flitterwochen have, we are looking for other hotel bookings in after similar offered. But who this hotel included atmosphere once seen, is pampered. At least it is so. Great service, great laid out and maintained complex, especially no 'wristband all-in', but there is just about everything was inclusive for all. Also after 10 days stay it was thanks to the 7 different restaurants not boring. We still have not time at all. There were dreamlike honeymoon, with lots of small Tools, we during our stay received. read more

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon as last stop a Mexico trip and had the Excellence Club upgrade with a more exclusive ocean view suite to get. The hotel has made a very good impression, until we entered our room and noticed, that right next to our room or building in which all the Excellence Club suites were located, noisy construction work was ongoing. We have asked for a larger room immediately way, but in our Excellence Club category were no longer available, so we were without extra charge a change in the other (Playa mujeres) excellence resort the ... next day was offered. With all the disappointment over the failed holiday we must start, the staff, especially the guest service manager, good, that you have openly and honestly said, that the construction only during the day, but during our entire stay constantly hear it would be. A bit strange was also, that they had tried in the morning, before we travelled to another hotel, the construction noise to be of the highest quality to drown music, so that one at the beach not times more could hear the sound of the ocean! Without noise a great hotel-but we wanted to spend our honeymoon definitely not! As we were there only one night, we just ate in the former pizzeria oregano, but we would not recommend. read more
