when I travel to Gothenburg I always stay in this hotel, which provides excellent service. The room was quite cosy and the bed really comfortable. However the wifi connection depends on the room you stay in, sometimes it can be very weak. The hotel is very well located and there are lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby.
For Göteborg recommendable

We were in the hotel, as a large festival going on at city center was taking place. Unfortunately was nearby a large stage, on the evenings loud pop music was played. For this the hotel can't. Apart from that the hotel can be highly recommend. It is conveniently located; the center is within walking distance. The tram stop is also nearby the hotel. We would go again, if we the next time in Göteborg are.
Good food in small rooms. archiviert

My prefered choice when coming for business. Rooms are averaged sized but the location is fantastic. Compared to other Hotels in town the atmosphere in the breakfast room is rather familiar and the selection at the buffet is really good. This time I had a really small bathroom which needs to be renovated, therefore my lower ratings on the room. Anyhow having said this I for the first time ordered from the room service. The rib eye steak was fantastic and could not be better in any argentinian steakhouse!

Very nice and comfortable hotel with sober scandinavian luxury. The trip was a business trip and the hotel offers great services for conference and business meetings (catering, meeting rooms, sound/light technican, and all necessary equipment). Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent! Hotel is located right on the main shopping street (the Avenue) in the heart of Göteborg with closeness to everything you need for a successful city trip, public transportation (busses and trams) right in front of the hotel, shopping, bars, night clubs, grocery store, concert hall, theatres, library, museums, trade fair, amusement park, sports arena, market hall ..., the canal with guided boat tours, et al, are either on the same street or just around the corner. Highly recommended for both families and business travelers.
Great location, average room archiviert

The hotel is located directly in the city, within walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. the exterior is not very attractive, seemed rather old. But the inside is everything nicely renovated and decorated. The front desk staff was very friendly and competent, unfortunately, not fulfilled my needs but still. I had a double room for single use, which was not very big. The beds (double) were very worn and the mattress soft Bodenanschlag almost to the. A carpet framed only the bedding, the floor is PVC. the rooms have satellite television (only second channel of German television as German channels) ..., Wireless, Internet access, telephone, minibar, glasses, a kettle, ironing board, iron, luggage rack, enough electrical outlets and lighting, table and chair, air conditioning, windows open (but very old parts, needed urgent replacement). The bathroom was extremely small and a bit awkward-the circular sink looks stylish, but there is very little counter space and had to bend down, in order to get there. A bathtub with shower, plenty of towels, towel warmer, hair dryer, shower gel, tissues are also available. The room had everything we needed and was optically attractively decorated, but was the size of the room and the complete overhaul of the hotel, you see the old Windows. There was also the service of the staff was outward anxious, but ultimately you nothing about it-not even a recall or Rückinfo was. Therefore I would only mediocre-a shame really!
Great location but no longer full service archiviert

We used to stay at Park Avenue with our family quite often and we really enjoyed it. The rooms are reasonable big and with great views of Gothenburgh. Still our last stay was a disapointment. When you stayed in the suites before you had the opportunity to have breakfast in a calm and very nice separate lounge on the second floor. Now this has changed so now adays the breakfast ist rather busy. Still tasty but very loud. Second, the spa and gym area is now closed for children under 16 years old. This area is very nicely built and ... when we have stayed not very much frequented. Probably children and parents that couldn´t behave obviously but for us this is one reason not to book Park Avenue again since it is no longer a full service hotel which aims to be one of the best in Gothenburgh. Though hard to beat the location close to any attraction you might visit on your stay.
